I think men don’t really grasp the concept that women are very much into someone being genuine. Someone being confident in themselves is very attractive, but also you have to be humble and true to yourself.
I think that while that may be the case, some guys just don't see that in practice. They see the guys that act or dress like Tyler getting the success. I'm not injecting my opinions here but based on some of the posts I've seen, being wholesome doesn't always cut it. It’s not just about the money. Software engineering is a tough program - graduating from it says something about someone’s IQ and threshold for hard work, focus and perseverance. And it’s a stable, reliable career.
These are all things you want in a long term partner. Career matters not just for money, but because it’s a reflection of certain characteristics. And obviously not everyone fits into a stereotype and there are always exceptions, but unless the person is lying about their career, it’s probably the part of a dating page that’s the most reflective of the person.

Also re career it's a marker of someone who will understand you more & be a better fit - nothing to do with money for most people. If you have a successful career yourself as a woman, you can gauge that someone with a similar trajectory will understand your priorities & goals, and may have interests in common from a shared bg.
