Birds incubate eggs and feed fledgling birds

Birds sit on the nest and incubate the eggs. In some species, the fledgling birds leave the nest soon after hatching, and the fledgling birds walk around wetlands to look for food with adult birds. Some species, the fledgling birds can spend days to weeks in the nest, they are unable to fly. During this time, adult birds bring food to them.
