    BUDDYMOON DAY 78/1000 (VLOG 23)
We Left El Nido on a Ferry to Coron, The Journey was long and wish that flights with Airswift were available for the day we travelled but it took 6 hours to get to Coron. Now Coron Island is a separate island as is owned and controlled by local tribed, however, we were in Coron, an area located on Busuanga Island and this town was crazy.
Coron, Philippines was super busy with tricycles all over the place... it felt like a mini Manilla. What was cool, is that Coron has got one of very few hot water salt water springs in the world. So we had to check this out.

Good job bargaining! Gas may be expensive but 150-200 for 1.5 kms for one person (was it per person?) is expensive. A tricycle can probably go 40 kms with 1 liter.
Although, it would be nice to give these tricycle drivers a bonus, especially when they are nice.
I had to hire a tricycle one time. The driver was so kind and shy that he told me to just give him whatever amount I thought was appropriate. I knew the rate. To cut the story short, I gave him thrice the normal rate. The driver couldn't believe it. He almost cried.

Have you heard what the tc driver said, it's 200 per head for 1.5m. this rude driver must be castigated by dept of tourism for charging an exhorbitant tc fare. Nakakahiya sila.

Philippines. All of you foreign vloggers are helping our country by
promoting the beautiful islands and remarkable
sceneries . With your dedications to show your experiences in the country, you guys are luring more tourists to go to the Philippines.
Our newly elected president wants to improve tourism in our country because you guys are the backbones of the small businesses in the country. You’re helping the people to get back in their feet after the lockdowns. Our country needs all the tourists who can travel to the Philippines. Tourism is the easiest way to activate the economy. HELLO BUDDYMOON HERE ARE MY TIPS IN STAYING AND ISLAND HOPPING IN CORON, PALAWAN
BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN CORON, PALAWAN (Check it out in RUclips)
    1. Visit Barracuda Lake in Coron, Palawan. Underwaters explorers love Barracuda Islands, divers can experience exactly where it divides as they go further down the lake. This is a must-visit destination in Coron, Palawan.
    2. Explore Twin Lagoons in Coron, Palawan. The Twin Lagoons, as it's name suggest, is made up of two stunning lagoons. Boats have to dock to first lagoons but visitors can get to the second by swimming. After swimming through a small cave-like entrance, visitors to the Twin Lagoons are stunned with the high rising cliffs on almost every side.
    3. Take a trip in the Japanese Shipwrecks. Coron Bay is populated with many shipwrecks from World War II , many of which are accessible for divers and some are even shallow enough that snorkelers can get a glimpse of the historic relics.
Some of the top shipwrecks worth seeing includes the:
    - Olympia Maru
    - Irako
    - Akitsushima
    - Morazan
    4. Visit Kayangan Lake. The only way to visit Kayangan Lake is by boat.
    5. Ocam - Ocam Beach in Busuanga Islands. The beach has an excellent dive sites, a boat ride away from Black Island and very close to Calauit Safari Park, another top destination of the Islands.
    6. Swim at Black Islands. It is a semi-undiscovered islands that is about 45 minutes by boat from Ocam-Ocam Beach. Otherwise known as Malajon Island, palm trees and long stretch of white sand decorate its shoreline. Black Island is worth a visit to see the Black Island Cave. The caves are home to two bodies of water and stand some 40 feet tall.
    7. Mount Tapyas, this is one of the first things visitors to the islands notice upon arrival, as the mountain rises high above Coron town center.
    8. Visit Malcapuya Island, it is very close to Banana Island and Bulog Dos, two other amazing destinations.
    9. Banana Island, also known as Dicalabuan Island. This isolated island is adorned with stunning blue waters and pure white sand.
    10. Visit Coron Island Calauit Safari Park, it is located at the northwestern tip of Busuanga. This wildlife reserves is home of the rarest animals species like giraffes, zebras, antelopes, waterbucks, gazelles and more.
WHERE TO STAY IN CORON, PALAWAN?
    1. Coron Westown Resort

You both are so bubbly! 🫰Yes, syrup goes with bacon/waffle and also fried chicken/waffle. 👍🏼Wikipedia - The ensaimada is a pastry product from Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. It is a common cuisine eaten in Southwestern Europe, Latin America and the Philippines. The Philippines adopted the Mallorcan ensaïmada (commonly spelled ensaymada in Philippine languages). As a Spanish colony for over 300 years, the Philippine variant has evolved over the centuries and is perhaps one of the most common delicacies in the country. 👍🏼

I can't imagine going into a hot spring in the hot Philippines! I'd pass out in minutes lol I've been to them in Costa Rica, gorgeous but pretty commercialized. One day I'd want to do it in Iceland!! I'm looking forward to your El Nido trip, it's a jewel of the Philippines! Hopefully it's not too busy b/c when it's quiet and surrounded by the nature while floating in the water...you imagine it's what Heaven must be like :-))))

That’s why there where only few people in the hot spring ‘cause, normally people go in the evenings after a day of island hopping and other activities to relax and soothe their aching muscles. Besides, its cooler with the wind breeze coming from the ocean at night. Its more relaxing and refreshing to end the day in a natural spa.

Would a person wjo doesn't know how to swim be able to enjoy these places? I know life vests can be rented or even maybe free but a person who doesn't know how to swim wouldn't be able to go underwater to see the wreck am I right? Coron is in my bucket list but seems most of what Coron offers include swimming under the water.

The first written references to the Mallorcan ensaïmada date back to the 17th century. that should be mushy and soft, but that's the Filipino version well another Filipino version.
