We've been going to OIB for 6 years now. I was never a beach person until we started going there. Cannot wait for our Labor Day week trip to get here! The area is so low key, family oriented, and relaxing!!!!! Hope you guys will go again!

I wanted to comment about this vlog. Our youngest son and family live near ocean isle. When we go to visit if we are there more than 1 night we always stay at Ocean Isle it is the perfect location . Like I have mentioned in a couple of your other videos spring break took us down last week. Then I went home with my hubby and I worked 1day and went back myself and stayed the week with our son,daughter in law and grand babies. Ocean Isle is the best. If you are looking for a pedicure check out Le Nails while there... I actually remembered someone posted about ocean isle so I found your post. Have a great weekend.

Stayed at the Winds Resort on 1st Street in Dec. of 2017. The stay included buffet breakfast every morning. Staff was very friendly. Absolutely a beautiful area. My wife and I loved it so much we brought land in 2020. Sharky's is a must for lunch. Visited Inlet View restaurant in May of this year. Once again great food and atmosphere. Love your video and music selection. thx.

@@LivingGratefully We do normally stay at the same beach house each year. We like having a short walk to the beach and having a pool. When we find one that fits us we typically stay for a few years. Btw my daughter posted the first comment. Ocean isle is great though!

I know I’m late ahah! But I’ve been to Ocean Isle all my life and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! I love how it has just the right amount of shops and places to go eat or play a game! Everyone is so friendly and it’s truly a blessing to be in the position I am! You see foxes, dear, raccoons, etc a lot down here and once I even got chased by one but that’s a different story 😂
@@LivingGratefully We usually rent a house through one of the rental companies but preferably McClure Realty. Super clean, (at least most properties) and good policies, as well as good rates. Also stayed at the Ocean Isle Inn which includes Breakfast (pre covid) and lots of amenities. Great views and comes with a fridge, microwave. The first time we stayed it was a great experience and the second time was still a great experience but wasn’t as good as the first although maybe it was because there was more people to a room so it felt more cramped. Overall every place on the island is a great stay, and it boils down to your preferences and what you’re looking for!

Stayed at the Winds Resort on 1st Street in Dec. of 2017. The stay included buffet breakfast every morning. Staff was very friendly. Absolutely a beautiful area. My wife and I loved it so much we brought land in 2020. Sharky's is a must for lunch. Visited Inlet View restaurant in May of this year. Once again great food and atmosphere. Love your video and music selection. thx.

Do ya'll stay at the same house each year or look for different houses each time? I think there's pros to both ways of doing it.

@@LivingGratefully We do normally stay at the same beach house each year. We like having a short walk to the beach and having a pool. When we find one that fits us we typically stay for a few years. Btw my daughter posted the first comment. Ocean isle is great though!

I know I’m late ahah! But I’ve been to Ocean Isle all my life and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! I love how it has just the right amount of shops and places to go eat or play a game! Everyone is so friendly and it’s truly a blessing to be in the position I am! You see foxes, dear, raccoons, etc a lot down here and once I even got chased by one but that’s a different story 😂

@@LivingGratefully We usually rent a house through one of the rental companies but preferably McClure Realty. Super clean, (at least most properties) and good policies, as well as good rates. Also stayed at the Ocean Isle Inn which includes Breakfast (pre covid) and lots of amenities. Great views and comes with a fridge, microwave. The first time we stayed it was a great experience and the second time was still a great experience but wasn’t as good as the first although maybe it was because there was more people to a room so it felt more cramped. Overall every place on the island is a great stay, and it boils down to your preferences and what you’re looking for!
