I was so shocked to see this young boyish guy singing such a soulful song when the camera panned to him. Moments later his voice and words brought tears to my eyes. :)
Heard an interview on where the song came from..... His friend told him one day how he had to leave his relationship... He was being beaten up by his partner..... Couldn't take it any more.....

It seems Distiller has essentially managed to stand out and establish its own label-specific sound just like Chess, Sun, or Motown Records did. That is something considered dead since major labels devoured everything. Keep em coming!
