    Have you guys ever put together a plan or design for a small reef tank capable of being off grid or long term power outage?

      How could a reef tank survive without power? The only way is to buy a generator?!

      @allytrudie864 other than the obvious. Lol. No outside the box thinking? I remember tunze had a 12 volt system that you could run directly off batteries. Solar during the day, batteries at night. Im talking about stuff like that. Equipment that you would use alongside redundancies in case of failures.

    Freshwater tanks aren’t as figured out when it comes to planted tanks - IMO
    For example many aquatic plants will just not grow and there’s no good exact science that I’ve found
    Just generic stuff like “use root Tabs” - uh ok that didn’t work now what
