- Windows Explorer Has Stopped Working Perfect Solution FIX is the simplest method to Fix the major problem in Windows 7 Operating system. So we wont have an option unless Restarting Windows. Its really Horrible. So here come a simple method to Avoid this Error.
Method: 1
Open the “My Computer” or Windows Explorer(Windows+E).
Then Click the “Organize” tab on the top-left corner. and the Click “Folder and Search Options”.
Now the Folder Option window will open. Then Click “View” tab.
Make sure the option “Always show icons, Never thumbnails” was “Ticked” as below.
Click OK. That’s all You’ve DONE. !!
Method :2
Click Start, and type “cmd” in Search box.
Once you saw cmd.exe, right-click cmd.exe, and then click “Run as administrator”.
At the command prompt, type Sfc /scannow and then press ENTER.
This method is know as “Run System File Checker” to scan and check your files. Thats it.

But bro I am not able to openy computer also any file I open it closes automatically and a notification comes which says windows explorer is restarting then everything refreshes and again after 7 seconds the same thing happens so how should I deal with it?

Can i do this on safe mode?
did not work for me - it could not find any integrity violations - so still wrestling with explorer.exe NOT working. Cannot view any file folders - they appear to be showing in the toolbar, but will not expand to show on the desktop when clicked. A very frustrating fault and I cannot seem to be able to find a solution. Windows 7 of course - and I have been putting off an upgrade to W10 because it would impact many current work projects and multiple related Apps that I cannot risk being lost in a migration to W10. Sat watching the devil and the deep blue sea :)

Method 3: Start or run, type: msconfig and go to service and try disabling some, and also startup and disable non Microsoft apps.
