Mia Morris - Everywhere (Official Music Video)

- Everywhere, is a song about the people who are always with you, even when they are somewhere else. It was written during a long drive up to New York on the way to a gig. While it’s certainly not the first song I’ve written on a ukulele, it’s the first one where I thought the uke was so much a part of the character of the song that I wanted to record and release the song without adding too much more.
For the music video, I thought I had come up with an idea that sounded simple to pull off. After a few locations, we discovered that the concept would have some unique challenges but I love how it turned out. We ended up filming more locations than we used and at many of the locations, we would shoot more than one section of the song. It turned out to be difficult to anticipate how one scene might transition into the next so we wanted some options. Speaking of locations, we hit some very familiar Nashville landmarks but we also decided to put some familiar locations for anyone who pays close attention to my other music videos :)
I’m 19 years old and I’m a professional musician, songwriter & artist based out of Nashville. I play lots of instruments but the ones that I’m hired to play most often are drums, cajon and bass. I’ve been posting music related videos on RUclips since I was 9 years old and began playing professionally at 14. I’ve always loved music and I’m grateful that it’s also become how I now make a living. This channel started as a combination of my fascination with drums and RUclipsrs and it’s now turned into a much larger music and music business diary. My goals haven’t changed all that much over the years and stay pretty simple. I’d love to keep making music and hope to keep getting better at it.

It's great when you hear songs written in transit come to fruition. I like that you kept this one simple, though like this video - not as simple to make as one may expect.

That's a great song Mia and the simplicity of the uke and the harmonies makes it really memorable..... not only that but it really showcases you, the artist, rather than as I find in some other singers tracks the music overwhelming the song itself. So with this little gem you actually get to hear the words and the feelings rather than simply a tune. Love it. Great song, great locations ... and great artist. 💖

Wow. When you say Everywhere, you mean it. A simple ukulele and your beautiful vocals are all this song needs. Not once do you mention the word Love, but this is a tender love song.

I love the song Mia. Though it's quite different, it reminds me of Michelle Branch's song everywhere in that it's how I feel with my personal relationship with God. That's very good Marc and while I'm impressed, I'm not surprised. Those were the ones I thought qualified in the widest sense. Still Had Me is a bit of a stretch but I figured between the creek and the intro/outro, that someone familiar with my songs might include that so A+. I went over to my HS to film by the goal post for Stacy's Song but the track was under construction and they had the whole place taped off. I also had the graffiti wall behind The End on my list, where a portion of Meet Ya was filmed but we ended not needing that shot :)
