Heck yeah, my workhorse 50-tonner. I've always liked the Enforcer because of its clarity of purpose. The Enforcer game plan involves singling out opponents and showering them in lead and laser fire while bouncing from cover to cover, and not much more than that. Some years ago, When I received an older Enforcer 4R in a post-3050 campaign, I went an alternate route with upgrades. Since I didn't have the starting C-bills to make huge structural changes like an XL engine, I settled for swapping the heat sinks to doubles and upgrading the armor to ferro-fibrous. This saved me enough weight to swap the old AC-10 for an LB-10X... and the old large laser for a PPC. Nothing like a surprise one-two punch to force a pilot skill roll, and possibly the dreaded seat belt check.
@@MechanicalFrog It certainly made the Chaos March more chaotic that year. A theoretical 18 hex PSR and two chances to possibly headcap instantly gave it a threat profile more akin to a jump-capable Warhammer 6R, and possibly got me put on Uncle Tex's gameshow "Warcrimes O'Clock."
Pretty good refit! I think the only thing I would have done differently is use a Large Pulse Laser instead of the PPC. Doesn't force a pilot skill roll, but a bit more likely to hit. The original Enforcer (and many of it's later variants) were often referred to as "The medium 'mech that thinks it's an assault 'mech." The careers (read: antics) of many of the Enforcer's pilots through the years pretty much confirms this view. Enforcer pilots DID have a disturbing tendency to treat their machines as though they were much heavier mechs. That often worked when the opposing mechs were not too much heavier. But while an Enforcer can identify as an assault mech all it wants, -the moment it tangles with something like a Marauder or an Orion, the pilot is going to get a painful reality check. As for the autocannon ammo issue during the First Succession War, it turns out there WAS a fix. It's buried deeply in the lore and, because it was from back in the early FASA days, might no longer be lore accurate. Anyway, turns out that Achernar was too rushed by the calamity that was befalling the AFFS during the early part of the war and missed the implications of the Enforcer's heat exchanger system. Specifically, the dual radiator systems set high in the mech's shoulders. Instead of removing the small laser and some armor, it would have been possible to pull the right-shoulder radiator system and install the extra ammo bin there. This would have reduced the heat sink capacity to 11, but would have avoided the "gremlins" in getting an ammo bin feed routed clear across the torso. This would have allowed the Enforcer to keep the popgun laser and extra half-ton of armor. The downside is that it would be somewhat more susceptible to heat, though not by much.
20:26 Using the picture of the 7D variant of the Enforcer III instead of the 6M. Also a funny thing about the Enforcer III is that it has more variants than the original Enforcer. Then again, I guess the same can be said of the Dragon and the Grand Dragon of the DCMS. The Enforcer is just a great intro mech for new players, simple and direct.
Always had a love-hate relationship with the Enforcer. Back in the old 3025 days you could lay down a good amount of fire power but if you didn’t make those AC 10 rounds count it was going to be a long day.
There’s something to be said for being a solid, uncomplicated mech. ENF even *looks* like what it’s supposed to do. There will never not be a need for designs that can march forward, shoot and take a hit or two.
The enforcer just screams to me "I am THE battleline mech". I wish it would stop screaming, but I can't blame it. It's really good at what's is supposed to do, and the later versions maintain that
A favorite of the lighter half of my forces in HBS's Battletech game is an Enforcer I call Long Odds. Long Odds is fitted with a UAC/2 (+10 damage -2 tons variant) in the right arm, a PPC (+4 Accuracy) in the left arm and two M lasers (+3 accuracy +50% crit) in the left torso. It lacks any jump jets but carries two tons of ammo, 5 additional heat sinks and a heat bank+ along with a Rangefinder that increases view range by 120 meters. Well armed and armored, if a bit slow due to lacking jump jets. Stays mostly cold as an alpha stike generates 67 heat while sinking 45 and shutting down at 120. Its a fun mech that pull long shots like its nothing but target practice.
Always liked the Enforcer, and it kinda started a meme in my friends group. Back in our Amiga days there was a game called Battleforce which was basically a very early reproduction of Battletech with all the various 'mechs in it and you could fight the AI after picking forces. The AI got an Enforcer, piloted by a chap called Wodtis, and in one game he was the first 'mech we saw as the OpFor came up over a hill. Right in front of a King Crab at shockingly short range. BOOM BOOM He lost one leg, fell down a hill and then got kicked to death by said King Crab. From that point on whenever there was an Enforcer, its pilot was always called Wodtis. The Enforcer's a solid trooper, its not flashy, never really has been but its always got the job done.
@@hydewhyte4364 haha to be fair, I’ve had some insane games in Enforcers on MWO. No one takes them seriously so you’re always the last to get targeted… and that AC10 could be a UAC10 with a little imagination…
Back in the 80’s, and before I knew of the Yen-Lo-Wang, I ran an Enforcer with an AC/20. Just knowing there was a jumping mech with that gun caused a lot of passive play until the Enforcer made its appearance. As soon as Gauss rifled made their appearance, the swap was made. Ran that mech until I ceased playing.
My enforcer is piloted by a periphery guy with a curiously lacking background in his 501 file. Main gun is the plasma rifle and it too has 2 tons. No case though. But ammo is in arm. LA gun is a snubbie with Cap. Three heavy flamers fill in the ct slots and empty head slot. One of the CT heaters faces to the rear. On pilot's insistence. Something about bouncy armored infantry. No other details were forthcoming. 14 DHS filled rest of mech. Dropped 2 regular jump jets down to 3 overall, but used a vector control pack as well as 3 improved jumpjets. A later version ( 3rd rebuild) 😊 used clan UAC5 w 3 tons ammo, and 3 clan er med pulse lasers. 1 ct 2 LA. Laser ams in head. CT(r) flamer now clan tech. It now also sported case 2 after first two rapid disassemblies of his mech's entire right side finally made the point well enough even he registered the need. Engine remained the lite250. It worked and an xl might give him more free tonnage. It'd survived along with him, so far. 😊 He's still paranoid about flying armored rats, though. Turned down a clan puma to keep his baby. Though he claims to not know what happened to the captured parts of that clan mech. Favorite trick is to either use the vector booster to speed up run walk speeds, or to suddenly change his flight path midjump. Often fatally confusing his enemies. VB came from salvaged SLDF PHawk in a ravaged base's partially collapsed hangar. His only regret is not having hands. Maybe next rebuild. 😊
Because arguably the main reason why some people hate its original loadout is because of the lack of advanced technologies used that are commonplace after the era. Also it looks very nice and that alone is the reason why I bought an Etsy mini of one of these
I came up with a succession wars Marik sidegrade for the Enforcer that drops the autocannon for a second large laser and uses the weight saved to increase the armor to 10.5 tons, the heat sinks to 18, and add a second emotional support laser
I found that, in the HBS BT game, the Enforcer is probably the best Medium line 'Mech until you start to accumulate Marauders (the true end-game machine). Outside of that, I've always enjoyed the look and the idea of a one-two punch of a heavy AC and big laser has a lot of appeal. The LBX/LREL version speaks to me.
I recently gained a newfound respect for the emotional support small laser. Last week I started a MW5: Mercs game with Davion, and infantry reenabled, tweaked to be a constant, looming threat. Ignore them, and they will chip you to pieces. The start of game Enforcer's small laser proved to be a great bug zapper.
The Enforcer is a mech that slowly won my favour over the centurion in MW5. Jump jet mobility is useful and the direct fire damage served me better than missiles in many occasions. I'd often strip out jump jets down to 1 for short hops while upgrading to a PPC, and sometimes drop to a AC 5 for more ammo and armor. On tabletop, I would probably just do the PPC side.
First in!! ;o) As a FS fanboi - special place in my heart for the Enforcer. Solid trooper mech that can be effective in a variety of roles. Never a sexy pick - just solid and good foundation for most builds.
I am a very recent fan of the Enforcer. I was put off by the original artwork, but the CGL ilClan redesign drew me back and I am glad it did. What a great utility ‘mech. And the -5R with its re-engineered lasers it’s a real gem.
The Enforcer is one of my go to mediums when playing IS. The 4R is a dependable platform that is easy to teach the game with because of its nicely paired range brackets. And the 5R is a nice “true to form but not to flashy cause that isn’t the enforcer’s style” upgrade that does exactly what you’d need an enforcer to do.
It's a toss-up between the Enforcer and the Centurion on which is the best general purpose 3025 trooper design. I like them both, put them both in a lance fighting side by side. 4 out of 5 video.
You've been hitting a lot of my favorites lately! Another mech I often choose to drive, even though the 3050 model does indeed run hot as blazes. Another thing to note is that in most versions the two main guns have the same or similar range profiles, which is a rarity in mechs that aren't simply boating lots of the same weapon, which means picking the optimal range for it is easy. This makes it a great beginner mech too, and a solid performer generally.
Hello Frog. The Enforcer is a good 'generalist' Mech at 50 tons. The 'Daniel' variant is a special favorite of mine. Although, I make sure to use the more 'proven' tech available, rather than the prototype stuff the original Daniel variant had mounted on it. So, all equipment as per the 'Daniel' variant. The only change that I've ever made to the Mech was to 'lose' the CASE. By dropping the CASE system, which is expensive, one can upgrade the small laser in the left torso up to another ER Medium Laser. If I really want to add expense to the Mech, I would still sell the CASE system and replace it with TSM. With that 3rd ER Medium Laser, getting up to the operational temp of the TSM is not really a problem. Have fun!
Enforcer - kind of an under-appreciated trooper mech. It does not quite compare to classics such as Centurion, or Hunchback or other troopers of the 50-55 ton bracket. A single ton of ammo is my biggest gripe with this particular mech. I find it to be a too big of a sacrifice. Sure, two fairly large weapons are nice, but you quickly end up being limited to just one, and combined with the lack of fall-back indirect fire options... I'll be honest - Enforcer never really gets on my favourite list, but it is perfectly usable for small engagements. It absolutely needs sustainable supply lines, however. One thing of note - modern video game depiction seems to differ a bit from the new miniature - especially in the cockpit area - kind of making it look... like a Doomguy. Which is very cool.
The Enforcer was always a reliable stepping stone of a mech but one that was always just an intern for my lances. The ultra auto cannon and AC 10 variants always felt like they were 5 tons too light to do much with without thoroughly compromising something. Had some fun with them in BTA: 3062 giving it some upgrades out of its justifiable price range.
@@MechanicalFrog Yea certainly, that's why I fell in love with the LACs even with the dip in damage. I had an Enforcer rolling with a snub PPC and LBX 5 that was good for stability harassment.
I do feel like in the nearly hundred years between the introduction of the 5D and the 5R that a lot of 5Ds got field refits that swapped the single heat sinks for doubles. The fact that Daniel Weylon's Enforcer got DHS supports that 5Ds eventually got DHSs. Also, if Kallon couldn't produce many during the 3060s it would encourage the AFFS to make the Enforcers they had as effective as possible.
This is my all time favorite mech of 30+ years of playing. I'm really happy to see a video on it. I keep art of one on my work desk. As always great video happy to see my fav (and all around solid trooper) featured. Keep up the great work!
ever since getting back into Battletech the Enforcer has always been a go to mech in my Davion lances especially when paired with a Victor in a Patrol/Battle lance it's never let me down
My cold Davion heart will always love the Enforcer as my medium mech of choice. Nothing fancy, just a solid Inner Sphere medium line mech. What’s not to love.
Not sure why the Enforcer-MF needs CASE II for the Plasma Rifle, but I guess it helps protect the engine. The first variant of the Enforcer I created is actually one you already talked about, so it's really nothing new: I simpy dropped a half ton of armor and the emotional support small laser to add a second ton of AC ammo to the right torso (not the left, which the Davions tried to do according to you). So I suppose my first actual non-canon variant for the Enforcer is my ENF-4ISM. Mixed-tech, of course. It has a Clan XL engine that is a higher rating so its movement profile is 5/8/4. Of course, being me, I added TSM to it so that moves it up to 6/12/4 when that's engaged - with the added supercharger turned on as well, that is. I didn't give it an additional jump jet, nor did I swap the armor or internals, so those are both standard. For additional protection I gave it a Clan Watchdog CEWS. For the party favors, it carries a Plasma Rifle/w 2 tons of ammo in the right arm, a Large Re-Engineered Laser in the left arm, and a Medium Re-Engineered Laser in the left torso (in place of the emotional support Small Laser).
One of my favourite mechs. Good mobility, armor and firepower. I usually call it the Victor Jr. Nothing flashy, it just works well as a force multiplier and mobile vanguard mech. Love the content as always! If I can, I rebuild it with something like a Rotary 5 and a couple of MedPlsLas-s. Or an LB10 and the pulse lasers. Works like a charm.
Perfect target to shoot at - it even comes with its own "Ez-Xplode" ammunition storage. As a Capellan, the Vindicator is my trooper ride, which means this thing is one of my most common adversaries. Good frontal armor, amenable armament, and jump-jets make it a competent addition to any lance. The only thing I'd add to it myself is a hand actuator for raiding purposes.
recently I decided to paint my now sizable mech collection in the colors of the first sword of light from the draconis combine and since they border with the federated Suns I figured I could have some enforcers in some lances I end up building. Enforcers being used by the combine makes sense since they're right on the border with the Suns. This is a neat littke little mech
The ENF-4R is just so useful when paired with heavy LRM-toting mechs like the Archer, Catapult, or Trebuchet. You can hop around and pop holes in the armor of your enemies so that they can follow up with scattershot barrages. I've always been a fan of it and avoid using the Helm upgrade as I think that the 4R is actually better. The Enfield is another of those mechs in this sort of extended family, though I realize that it isn't actually related, just similar to the others.
I’m not sure which one it is and it might be newly released in a sourcebook but I salvaged one variant that was similar to the original model except reasonably upgraded and carrying a UAC/10. The thing performed surprisingly well.
The Enforcer is another great candidate for the RAC-5, especially if you can spare the room for a Targeting Computer. Turns the mech into a VERY frightening machine.
The 5D Enforcer is yet another victim of FASAengineering. When I use it, I change all of the heat sinks over to doubles, and pull 2 in order to mount two medium lasers. The sheer amount of silliness that 3050 spawns made it a very unfavored TRO in my group back in the 90s. We constantly fixed the IS mechs so we'd have a chance against Clan .
One of my favorite mechs to mod when I can. AC/5 with 5 ML and more heatsinks with a half ton armor on the back. Sounds silly, but those 5 ML consistently firing in a 3025 mech, especially with JJs to get you into a side arc... Well it can shred and works as a crit seeker even. Try it and don't mock. 10 and 8 vs 6 x5
Also, a good cheap refit for the 4R during the 3050s would be swapping to DBHs, side grade to FF armor at 8tons, and upgrading to the LB10X. This buys enough mass for 1 extra ton of reloads, Case for the RT, upgrade the LL for a LPL and gives you the choice of either upgrading the Small laser to a pulse laser or adding another small laser. Its a very econmical refit and upgrade
The -4R was my first 'Mech when I was presented to Battletech back in 2000... true to form, it died in a glorious ammo explosion after being shot in the back 😂. The Enforcer will always have a place in my heart.
Hadn't heard of the enforcer before, but that 5R variant seems perfect for the job required of it, agile and tough enough to close with combine mechs, and tear them apart with concentrated hits, before finishing them off with crit seeking, and the combine are the largest users of hardened armor, and one of the largest users of reflective armor in the Inner Sphere, its weapons are very well suited to bringing down Combine mech, the totem mechs especially.
I never cared for the Enforcer, being a medium with just 4/6/4 movement. What I like about it now is that the turn-on-turn firepower is a good approximation of real heavies... if without the layers of bracketing, alpha strikes, redundancy, and so on. Perfect example of matching power on a budget.
This must have been Trooper Month. First you do the Orion, and a week later you come out with the Enforcer. As a guy who's largely been on the FedSuns , FedCom, and affiliated side of things, the Enforcer has been a useful addition to fill out a lance. It's got mobility, good firepower for its class, and it won't fall apart the first time it takes a hit. Unless shot from behind, but let's not invoke the karma lords on that.... Many mechwarriors would probably prefer a AC 10 with 1 ton of ammo over a AC 5 with 2 tons of ammo. the big AC was probably meant to put a kabosh on the numerous Kurita light units, since a solid hit or two on a light mech usually takes out the light one, or leaves it open for a kill shot from the LL. (Also lets the Enforcer take on a Dragon without being pressed.) Again, the Enforcer is ahead of the Clans with that emotional support SL. It's very handy! then we get the Enforcer III, which is a true blue improvement that keeps it competitive in later eras. The MF variant works nicely, since the Enforcer makes the Plasma mount for a Medium really work efficiently, and the snub PPC lets the pilot enjoy some options. the inclusion of an AMS to ward off missile salvos makes me think you've had that sort of situation want to be prevented when closing on a missile boat in an Enforcer.
Plasma rifle and a snubby peeper? Sounds like mechfrog variant all right. You made it feel like yours still keeping the feel of the enforcer, and it sounds like a nasty piece of work too. Good job.
The Enforcer is an old Favorite. It was one of the first minis I ever bought. I still have it too! Only it's missing most of an arm as in my teenage years, I thought it prudent to kitbash it by cutting off the barrel and putting a King Crab claw in its place, lol. I lost the claw It's a good mech though. Always considered the Large Laser the best part of its weaponry as opposed to that AC/10.
A solid, mid-range brawler with decent heat control. It definitely lends itself to an aggressive approach, but you reall need to watch for flankers as that back armor is just wafer-thin! It kinda reminds me of Peter Jackson's take on the Uruk Hai in Lord of the Rings, as they also were incredibly dangerous and fierce fighters but had unarmored backs.
Mech most likely to run out of ammo. In the HBS game the 5PA turned out to be a lot of fun as a team player as it was armed with mech grenades. It would slowly attrit enemies as they were forced to engage with closer more blatant threats. Itt was tough enough if something did close to take some hits while the situation was dealt with.
Ah the Enforcer. Ran one in my first ever BT game. It did work and it was fun to play it aggresively with relatively little heat punishment. Did cook the engine on an ammo crit, although by that time most torso's were stripped on both sides so it was a dicey end anyways.
They do work great as a pair; the Centurion gives you a little longer-ranged firepower with the LRM while both can then pick the best range for the AC/10 and start blasting. If the map has a lot of terrain or you need to flank the Centurion can pin the target while the Enforcer uses the JJ's to get into a better position.
A good, solid, and dependable Medium Range mech that is the definition of 'Good Enough' when you are filling mech ranks on relative budget. For it's weight class, it does it competently
Nice video! Though one non-cannon Enforcer variant that I think is worth mentioning is MWO's -5P. It drops the Large Laser and AC 10 to add 2 UAC 5s. And while it uses an XL 250 and Double Heat Sinks, it only uses 2 Jump Jets. I don't know why, but to me it somehow feels like it fits in, so much so that I was surprised when I discovered it's non-cannon.
The enforcer was the first mech I owned in MWO when I started playing about 10 years ago. I liked to put a ppc, ER ML and uac5 in the mech. Kept the emotional support SL though. Good poker for a beginner - lots of ammo for AC and the ppc could be fired and then duck into cover.
Thank you again for all the time and effort you put into this video Mech Frog it’s always appreciated and I enjoyed it. I really like the Enforcer, it a solid trooper mech that is the perfect mix of effective on the battlefield while also being relative cheap and mass-producible. It is a solid and component mech for a solid and competent faction. I often include it in my lances when I need a solid medium and dont want something flashy. I really look forward to trying out the MF pattern. The only way I could love this thing more if it had the rugged or ubiquitous design quirks. Also it certainly doesn’t hurt that when I have to pick an inner sphere favorite faction instead of one from the periphery, I pick House Davion and the Fed Suns.
I would have replaced the ER large laser with a Light PPC, add another ton of ammo for the autocannon, and add an ER medium laser alongside the ER small laser. not very flashy, but it works for me.
Small error. You say 14 tons of free space for weaponry. That can't be right as the AC-10 is 12 tons, plus 1 for ammo, 5 for the LL and 0.5 for SL. Plus 2 HS. That's 20.5 tons.
Thanks for the year Mech Frog It's been a ball Did you get to meet Randall during the Reunification Tour? It was fantastic to host him here in Auckland
The Enforcer is currently my workhorse in a Davion BTA 3062 playthrough. LBX10s are good against pretty much every type of target. I also maxed out the armor (because i always go with max armor), so it can take a surprising amount of punishment for a mech with an XL engine.
LB-10X Autocannons are cool, and I want to think of them as having programmable munitions that explode when they're near targets or at ranges set by the pilot.

The Enforcer is my wingman when I head out to the Big City. Particularly for double-blind games.
The Enforcer can be a good solid choice at times.
Absolutely.
One of my favorite mediums. The combo of the Jump jests, the AC and the Laser makes it really flexible.
BOOM BOOM
He lost one leg, fell down a hill and then got kicked to death by said King Crab.
From that point on whenever there was an Enforcer, its pilot was always called Wodtis.
The Enforcer's a solid trooper, its not flashy, never really has been but its always got the job done.
Enforcer is just one of those mechs you can't go wrong with putting one in a lance. You are 100 percent right the 5R is incredible as a line mech
First. Also, imagine the absolute stones facing down a Marauder IIC with an Enforcer. Mad lad.
Bold and brave.
Completely mental.
... but did you die???
@@hydewhyte4364 haha to be fair, I’ve had some insane games in Enforcers on MWO. No one takes them seriously so you’re always the last to get targeted… and that AC10 could be a UAC10 with a little imagination…
You don't need hair to be a fighter
Back in the 80’s, and before I knew of the Yen-Lo-Wang, I ran an Enforcer with an AC/20. Just knowing there was a jumping mech with that gun caused a lot of passive play until the Enforcer made its appearance. As soon as Gauss rifled made their appearance, the swap was made. Ran that mech until I ceased playing.
The Enforcer, does what it says on the tin, its like a plate of spaghetti meatballs.
It just works.
He's still paranoid about flying armored rats, though.
Also it looks very nice and that alone is the reason why I bought an Etsy mini of one of these
I've used the Centurion many times as that "go to" enemy Mech with a solid all round performance profile. It's one you simply can't ignore.
When you really need it, it is there.
It just works.
There is a distinct kind of sexiness in something so utilitarian.
As a Cappy backer, I will acknowledge all due respect to the Enforcer. Driving a line mech may not be glamorous, but it's what wins wars.
It just works.
It's a toss-up between the Enforcer and the Centurion on which is the best general purpose 3025 trooper design. I like them both, put them both in a lance fighting side by side. 4 out of 5 video.
They make a decent pair, for sure.
It suffers because the autocannons suffer from being too heavy for their damage output.
Thanks a ton!
"I want to meet, THE ENFORCER."
"I want my callsign to be spaghetti."
"Alright fine, spaghetti. Whatever. Just do what I order you to do."
"Do you feel lucky? Well? Do ya?"
THAT"S why we love the Enforcer and, to a lesser extent, the Clint.
ever since getting back into Battletech the Enforcer has always been a go to mech in my Davion lances especially when paired with a Victor in a Patrol/Battle lance it's never let me down
My cold Davion heart will always love the Enforcer as my medium mech of choice.
Vindicator is another great pick.
Darn Cappies can't even let others have one video.
recently I decided to paint my now sizable mech collection in the colors of the first sword of light from the draconis combine and since they border with the federated Suns I figured I could have some enforcers in some lances I end up building.
Glad to hear it did.
@@MechanicalFrog I just checked and it was an Enforcer III. Bummer!
It's always a treat seeing a new Mechfrog vid
Thanks for giving it a go. Have a great week!
Sounds like fun.
Because, ultimately, I am a Davion man
And there's basically no more Davion 'mech than this
*nodding* A solid one.
I have a different look to the og model. Left arm needs a fist surrounded by 3 med Lazer. one ton more ammo and one extra heat sink
Hmm... could work well.
I fully love the visual vibe of the current minis. :)
Been here since the beginning, it's such a pleasure to watch your channel.grow. keep it up Mechfrog my man!❤
If i wasn't so hard up for c-bills I'd be supporting more often.
Thank you!
love the show !
Thanks!
Good job.
Great video! Looking forward to more videos and updates.
The Enforcer is an old Favorite. It was one of the first minis I ever bought. I still have it too! Only it's missing most of an arm as in my teenage years, I thought it prudent to kitbash it by cutting off the barrel and putting a King Crab claw in its place, lol. I lost the claw
It's a good mech though.
I keep forgeting how good 50ton weight bracket. Good video my dude
Appreciate it!
Live by the ammo, fall because of the ammo... such is life.
@@MechanicalFrog Get Paid or Go Out in a Blaze of Glory: A Mechwarrior's Tale
I definitely love this mech. Doesn't bother being flashy, just dependable medium range fires.
The Enforcer feels like the little brother to the Centurion. Smaller, sure, but it gets the job done, and can keep up with the 'bigger' sibling
Because the Mech we have in Regiments is better than the single super-mech our opponents wasted resources on
A good, solid, and dependable Medium Range mech that is the definition of 'Good Enough' when you are filling mech ranks on relative budget.
Jumpy shooty pew pew!! What else do you need?
Rootin Tootin.
AKA What Taurians use for target practice instead of cans.
Simple and reliable. Classic combo with minimal flash
Late to this one but the video times out just about right to do a sear and peel the potatoes. Have a Mechy Christmas.
Merry Christmas.
Tough and basic, but it gets the job done...
It just works.
This is how my wife describes me. 😂
I would have replaced the ER large laser with a Light PPC, add another ton of ammo for the autocannon, and add an ER medium laser alongside the ER small laser. not very flashy, but it works for me.
Excellent stuff and congratulations on passing 20k!👏👏👏
Small error. You say 14 tons of free space for weaponry. That can't be right as the AC-10 is 12 tons, plus 1 for ammo, 5 for the LL and 0.5 for SL. Plus 2 HS. That's 20.5 tons.
I blame the editor.
The Enforcer: "Enforcing Davion will since 2777."
Thanks for the year Mech Frog
It's been a ball
Did you get to meet Randall during the Reunification Tour?
It was fantastic to host him here in Auckland
Also, I think this might be one of my favourite MF variants ever.
Sweet!
The Enforcer is currently my workhorse in a Davion BTA 3062 playthrough. LBX10s are good against pretty much every type of target. I also maxed out the armor (because i always go with max armor), so it can take a surprising amount of punishment for a mech with an XL engine.
The Enforcer reborn in the Federated Suns' darkest hour? It should have been named "Enforcer Prime".
LB-10X Autocannons are cool, and I want to think of them as having programmable munitions that explode when they're near targets or at ranges set by the pilot.
congratulations to 20k subs. on to the next 10k o7
