    About the 1st Story: As someone who has a younger sister and drives; If something like this were to happen to me I would never be able to live with myself. I care about my little sister way to much. It truly breaks my heart to hear about such things. I always make sure that eveyone is buckled up before I even start the car. A licenses to drive is a license to kill.

    • @Ddarkan
      @Ddarkan 7 лет назад +24

      I thought the same thing, I actually couldn't drive with my little sister in the car at first because I knew if something happened I wouldn't be able to go on living with the guilt.

      Tyler Moose my life would end too if my sister died in a car I was driving... I'd never be right again. That makes this all the more mind blowing to hear/see. Filming it like that!? Can't even comprehend...

      I think maybe she was extremely intoxicated? That's the only way I can justify her behavior. If she now shows extreme remorse and seeks help, then maybe she's not a monster... But even then, she should face legal repercussions. No more and no less equal to any individual that is intoxicated, drives, and that leads to the death of a passenger.. as much as it makes me sick to see, she is not a "killer".

    Obdulia Sanchez should be convicted to the fullest extent of the law. She knows that it is illegal to be on your phone while you are driving, and had continuously been using your phone on separate occasions while driving a vehicle. She knew it was wrong, she knew the possible consequences and still continued with her actions. Obdulia even said that she knew her sister was dying, that she knew she was going to jail, and that she still did not care. Obdulia needs to be tried in a fair trial, and accept the multiple consequences of this terrible accident that SHE spearheaded.
    I do not feel sorry for this girl as she got behind the steering wheel of a vehicle, and risked not only her life but three others, and ended her own sisters life.

    About Obdulia: If you're old enough to have a driver's license, you are old enough to be held responsible for the actions that take place while behind the wheel. If the life of one of your passengers is taken, sister or not, and it is indeed your fault, you can fucking take the charges and consequences. I have no pity for her. I cannot imagine the grief she has caused her parents.

    • @AmazedbyGrace95
      @AmazedbyGrace95 7 лет назад +10

      Kayco38 right! If it wasn't her fault, I would chalk up a lot of this behavior to shock. But because, from what we know, it is indeed her fault, I don't feel sorry, I don't feel pity, I just feel disgust.

      Phil Pain Uhm, no. 16 year olds should have developed a sense of right and wrong and to recognize the consequences of action or inaction. Again, why would we allow 16 year olds to drive if we, as a society, didn't determine they are old enough to be held responsible? I've heard of 13 year olds being tried as an adult for murder trials. This young lady is more than old enough to be held accountable for what happened.

    • @AmazedbyGrace95
      @AmazedbyGrace95 7 лет назад +2

      Phil Pain I'm unsure what your point is here. Age of Consent is an age socially deemed acceptable to protect younger individuals from being abused by older individuals. I know 16 year olds mature enough to make the decision for themselves if they are ready to have sex. They're under no legal obligation to abstain from it. There are parameters, of course, but there are also limitations on sex acts when you're an adult. Obdulia is old enough to be held accountable.

    • @AmazedbyGrace95
      @AmazedbyGrace95 7 лет назад +3

      Phil Pain Who said 16-17 can't create life if they decide? It is illegal, yes, for sex between an adult and a minor (though for some states I think it has to be more than 2 years of an age Gap). It is not illegal to create life at 16/17. Again, I think they are old enough to deal with the consequences of those actions. Not to be married, perhaps, but I'm 22 and don't think I'd be even close to ready for marriage now.
      My point is that they can be held responsible either way, for creating new life or taking away a life. I still don't see your point because it's faulty by nature of assuming I implied 16/17 year olds can't make babies?

That moment haunts me everyday I get into a car.... i have developed ptsd from it. Sadly people do stupid shit in cars. They should be held accountable for their actions regardless if it was an accident or not. Everytime you get into a vehicle you are responsible for EVERYONES SAFETY.

      it doesn't help that driving becomes incredibly mundane despite hitting speeds that humans are not built for. Behind the wheel, you're often detached from the velocity due to suspension, a glass shield removing the sensation of air whizzing by. It's often you find yourself oddly blasé while doing an activity where a momentary lapse in attention could turn you or a pedestrian into a liquid. It can feel unreal.

      People don't act like Hollywood actors during a tragedy. Many will go into shock and emotionally shutdown as a defense mechanism. Her "I don't care" was paying penance. "I don't care [if everyone knows I just killed my sister and this is the evidence - i should be punished]. You can't judge a person from the worst 4 minutes of their life. 1. It's affect.
      2. it's called showing remorse. And that's a huge defense because that's how her peers (the jury) determine if she's harmful and a menace to society.

      He uses the term "garbage person" which is to be warranted in this scenario for a person who has a history of reckless driving which led to these deaths, but it kind of rubs we the wrong way that Philip Defranco admits he knows little of Sargon of Akkad but sided with Anita Sarkeesian who used the insult "garbage person" to a person who never harassed her in the past or did anything provoking at the Vid Con panel. Now we have this Jake Paul coverage which people in the real world don't know about or care about.

    I'm absolutely appalled by Sanchez's choice to even use her phone while driving, (PSA) no one is immune from the dangers of using a phone and driving AND being intoxicated and driving- the repercussions of getting hurt from both types of actions are the same! No matter how many times you've done it, and remained safe, you've still made the dumb decision by not only endangering your life, but COUNTLESS OTHERS- it seems harmless, but it's dangerous to think you're immune and continue with doing it. As a big sister, I'm literally sick that she found the opportunity to film even after the crash, her number one goal should have been to focus on trying to save both girls (even if the effort would have been in vain), she's supposed to try to protect and save her little sister no matter what, but all she can do is film herself saying SHE understands HER FUTURE; she doesn't even think about the fact that her little sister wouldn't have a future! This monster didn't have a sister, she just had herself!

      ClickHereToDie. He was disabled and needed a cane to walk. Apparently, he got into an argument with his wife and walked into the lake. He then couldn't get back out and the teens filmed him, laughing, while he screamed for help. No exaggeration, when he actually drowned and fell under the surface of the water, the teens said "oh, he died." You can even watch the video but it's disturbing and upsetting so watch out.

    If there are previously posted pictures of her bragging about her almost crashing and harming herself. - "When you almost crashed because you're on snapchat." Sounds like this was almost planned, like she was intentionally snapchatting and possibly livestreaming stuff like this on social media for attention. Blame it on the shock or the xanax for her cruel reactions but it could also be possible she just didn't care and wanted attention. There is clearly some disconnection there as she could only seem to think about her life in jail while filming her sister dying. Either way she should be punished.

I have and it gave me horrible PTSD and Has caused me a great amount of grief. Holy crap, that first story made me sick, how can 6 thousand people be that deluded to think that she is not in the wrong?
    ONE BIG EDIT: This is the unedited footage video (www.liveleak.com/view?i=1ca_1500779366) and I got to say that Im disappointed at Phil. It's really clear in the video that she wasn't being cold and indifferent to what she'd done.
    She is doing CPR on and off during the stream. She shakes her sister and says "Magdalene, please wake up".
    In the stream she says, "this is the last thing that I wanted to happen, okay?", "I love you, rest in peace sweetie", "if you don't survive baby, I'm so fucking sorry", "wake up baby, wake up", "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you sweetie". You can hear her sobbing. Although her voice sounds flat and emotionless, that's really common when people go into shock. Especially true considering the sheer level of fear she would have felt after just crashing.
    I am not defending her actions whatsoever. She did kill her sister. She shouldn't have livestreamed it. She deserves to face the consequences of her actions. But to portray her as a monster who was cold and unfeeling to what she'd done is just incorrect. Stupid, yes, culpable, yes, but certainly not a cold, unfeeling monster in my opinion.Please don't instantly jump to defending Phil just because you like his show and generally agree with him. I also like his show and generally agree with him and think his reporting is fair. I feel in this case that he edited the original stream to portray a narrative that didn't give the full story.

    Sorry for the rant
    My thoughts on the first story? The scumbag had a history of reckless driving and photos that betrayed her indifference towards human life. Be it her passengers' lives, the lives of those in close proximity to her vehicle, or her own miserable existence, she very clearly demonstrated her lack of respect for herself and others. Her staggering and inexcusable stupidity forced her poor sister to pay the ultimate price: her life (too bad it wasn't the maggot herself that was killed in the accident). Then, on top of being such a shitty (excuse the cursing. I don't like it and I don't make a habit of it, but given the circumstances, I'm sure you can all understand) person so as to endanger the lives of your friends and family, to be so insensitive and dead inside that she had the mental capacity to live stream the death of her sister, whose body I'm sure had suffered grievous physical damage, and not show even as much as a tear's worth of emotion... man. If that were my sister, brother, friend, or heck, a random stranger hitching a ride in my car, I would've been unable to breathe properly from sheer panic and devastation. This degenerate piece of filth is so unworthy of human recognition and sympathy that I won't even give "it" the decency of going back to the video to get its name down correctly. This thing... it is not human. It walks like us and talks like us, but believe you me... it is but a soulless husk of pure, demonic, evil. Kill it with haste, my friends, for it is unworthy of the oxygen you and I breathe.

    People are confusing an accident with a mistake. She chose to drink while underage, she chose to get into a motor vehicle while intoxicated, she chose to operate her cellphone while driving. What about this says accident. How did the fucking key get in the ignition? She had no regard for the safety of herself or anyone else. And to top it off she didn't require her sister (R.I.P) who was a minor to wear a seat belt. She may have regretted doing any of it the instant it happened, but blatantly disregarding the dangers of her actions is what cause her sister to lose her life. She should be held accountable.

    that girl is insane!!! I watched the video and her sister was laying on the ground with a cracked open skull and her brains coming out. She then starts shaking her corpse going: wake up yo wake up. And she sounds like it doesnt phaze her at all. She acts like a complete psychopath. A normal person would be fucking shocked and in panic and crying. She just continues to film and then acts ridiculous acting as if her sister can wake up (she doesnt even sound convincing; she literally sounds like she did it as a joke), while her sister is laying there with her brains out!!

      You act as if everyone deals with loss and grief the same way, a 'normal way'. I wouldn't do either of the 'normal' things you did, I always knew I was somewhat strange. When my brother died (yes, I did try to save him), I simply felt nothing. I googled it for fear of something wrong with me, and apparently, it is normal for a lot of people. The brain uses it as a defensive mechanism to some so it doesn't shut down from all of the grief, I guess? Just the brain pushing aside all emotion over it for a time. I did love my brother though, and would never have done something like this. The fact that she did disgusts me to a very high degree.

    This is why seat belts are so important and why distracted driving is horrible. Everytime I drive my friends I don't start the car until everyone's buckled. One of my best friends constantly texts and drives when I'm with him, needless to say I've never driven with him since. It's a scary world out there and some people are so careless it amazes me.

My ex hopped in my car for the first time and didn't put on her seatbelt, I pulled over and said "I'll drive you back to your truck, but I'm not going anywhere until you put on your seatbelt." And she damn sure did. I do that to everyone, even my stepdad knows he has to do it in my truck because regardless of the fact that I drive like an elderly person while I have a passenger, I don't want other people causing us all to die.

      Torture is never an okay thing to do, especially for no actual reason other than to just make someone feel pain.
      What she did was more than likely manslaughter as unless she has some form of hidden agenda where she was trying to crash and kill her sister this must be treated as an accident.
      She needs to be seen by medical professionals, she may have been in shock when the crash happened and that is why she was so weird or she may have actual mental issues.

Hearing them "dab on the haters" is harmless but they took it to far. One of our schools teachers passed away from cancer this year and having them a year ago it broke my heart. We put up a memorial whiteboard to write our goodbyes on. A group of "jake paulers" thought it would be a funny prank to write the entire lyrics of 3 of Jake Paul's diss tracks in permanent marker all over the board. It was disgusting and everyone who had that teacher was heartbroken all over again. The kids were only suspended for a day because their parents were friends with the assistant principal. The rest of the school year was very depressing with any of the teacher's attempts at bringing joy back failing hard. Please dont let your kids do anything like this. Despite what the parents of the kids said this was not "a harmless prank attempting to bring light to the departure of our beloved teacher."

Plus I'm pretty sure most drivers who are impaired by substances that cloud their judgement- or hell, someone overwhelmed by stress- plans to murder someone with their car. it's not premeditated is what I mean. In the last year and a half our vehicle has been hit 3x. Rear ended by a large pickup that almost totalled the vehicle and killed my parents in the back seat. Someone rammed us turning around a corner in a work parking lot. And someone hit the back of our vehicle while we were shopping. Came out the car to see a bunch of damage to the back of our NEW vehicle. Of course the store will not look at the footage unless we had the exact time.

She should be punished because she did something wrong. She swerved _purposefully_, which means she _knowingly_ endangered herself, her passengers, and any pedestrians that may have been around. It doesn't matter if she's 'Just a young girl who made a mistake.' She's 18 years old with a drivers license, she is old enough to understand what is right and what is wrong.
    However, I will note that I am concerned for her mental state based on her reaction to her sisters death. It's not a mentally sound reaction.

    On the Obdulia Sanchez story, Phil asked "What kind of monster reacts like this?" I think the better question is, "What kind of stuff kids nowadays are taking in?" and then use the "monster" word for "What kind of monsters these people are who advocate for Odulia Sanchez?" In my honest opinion, what she just did is far worse than a terrorist could do.

    • @ranchoddaschanchad6230

      Creative North Agreed. If terrorists have supporters, if there are any, then we know they are like-minded people, not necessarily sharing the same belief, but the same thinking. As for those who support Obdulia, they are either psychopaths like her, or they just want some attention from the internet community. What a cheap move.

    • @zaldssans7412
      @zaldssans7412 7 лет назад +8

      She's a self-proclaimed psycho according to Phil. I don't think so. Her mind is not totally detached to reality because she acknowledges that her died because of her, she could use a camera to take a footage of it, perhaps it was a planned move, and she's not talking non-sense, but talks wickedly weird.

  • @SymplyOP
    @SymplyOP 7 лет назад +105

    How is she a scapegoat? Wouldnt a scapegoat be someone who didnt do that action but takes the fall for it? Shes the kind of person who shouldnt be on the road for one because it puts people like me in danger since I ride a motorcycle and no one gives a fuck about people on motorcycles, but she killed her sister. She deserves to be in prison. She should know better than to not do that shit while driving.

    • @SymplyOP
      @SymplyOP 7 лет назад

      Not much you can do to stay safe when state patrol scare the shit out of you going over the median to turn around for no damn reason. Just happened 5 minutes ago, all I seen were headlights. But death, no. Those are the people you sit in prison, its more torture for them to live than to give them a release of what they did. Hell I would hang up a picture of her sister, bloody even just to torment her for the rest of her life.
      It doesnt matter either if its a shitpost group, they are idiots for saying scapegoat. Should of said she didnt do anything instead of her being a scapegoat. She should take the fall for it and pretty hard. This isnt like the girlfriend shot her boyfriend which seemed like it was an accident? Apparently he told her that he tested it? I dont know, there is a lot more to that case that could be argued than this, it was streamed fully it looks like so there arent any questions. I also blame the cops, it is their responsibility to get people off of their cell phones while driving but they dont give a fuck so now we are seeing this shit and have been for a while. We pay taxes for police, we all agreed that its illegal to be on the phone while driving. Hell the fine should be like 5 grand or something if you are on the phone and more if texting.

    30 years in prison. Her video proved she was guilty and I couldn't tell if she was truly sorry. 30 years is plenty of time for her to think things over and eventually be sorry. She fucked up big time with the camera, I don't feel sorry for her.

      Ashley Samurai the video was cut on the show before an important part. In the live stream she says " I know I'm going to jail for life now but I don't give a fuck. I'll own up to it and lay my self down." Then she turns to her sister and says " if you don't survive I'm so sorry. I love you sweetie Rest In Peace, I'm so sorry I did this to you. It's all my fault. I'm so sorry baby girl love you Rest In Peace." Now I do believe that she should be put in jail for a long time but I'm saying this because people should know the full story

      Ashley Samurai she's gonna go to prison for 10 years max, frankly, probably even less since it will be her own family that will be on the other side of the stand. Depending on whether they never want to see her again or they want her to get out as soon as possible will be what ultimately determines it though

    Obdulia should be prosecuted by the fullest extent of the law; as an example to people who risk their lives and the lives of others for frivolous reasons. I hope that when kids hear about her in the future, they know that even if you aren't a decent enough person to naturally not do the same kind of thing, at least you'll be scared of jail time. Yes she should be a scapegoat, but for a good cause

Please dont watch it. As she shook her sisters lifeless body I started panicking and wanted to messege my sister on instagram that I love her/them.
