Yeah Sister Location definitely hints they thought it was William. I mean in Michael's speech he's all like "They thought i was you" so Baby/Elizabeth was not against fooling her creator/father at that point in the timeline. Though she definitely knew using him let alone anyone as a suit wouldn't kill them because of remnant so she wasn't exactly planning to kill willy
I understand the anxiety around covering the same topics/theories, but I think there's a lot of value in our parallel thinking as a community. If something stands out to a lot of people, there is likely some merit to it. As long as we are adding to the conversation in some way, we should be encouraged by the recurring ideas. Fnaf it's the only series that has official AUs to use to figure out what's going on in it's lore and figure out what's happening and how we get more answers in the next game and book series
I had a theory when HW2 came out, that it was supposed to represent Vanny/Vanessa's deprogramming - as in, how she purges Glitchtrap from her mind. And that would mean that, in one of the endings, Glitchtrap escapes from her mind, into the MapBot - while in the other ending, we see her as Vanny crushing what's left of Glitchtrap. I still like it, but NRM's video made me think that Vanny in Security Breach really might have been being set up to be revealed as Eleanor - seeing as seem to see two Vanessas, and the weird glitching effect on the screen when we see her. Buuuut if that's the case, I'm kinda glad that they ditched it. I've generally wondered if part of the reason that so much of SB was cut is because it was leaning too hard into the books, and ended up just being incomprehensible to anyone who hadn't read them.
At 11:11, you asked "why is she named Eleanor?" I have an answer but it's a little long-winded. I think understanding Eleanor generally should start with the story that introduced us to her, To Be Beautiful. Eleanor is described as being damn near identical to a giant Barbie doll, and Sarah's obsession with "fixing" her appearance is a pretty clear cut theme about learning to accept yourself and not project unrealistic body standards on yourself. It's a theme that's very relevant to FNAF's target audience. I think Eleanor as a name is a variation on Elizabeth, and her visual similarities to Baby are also used to help us understand that she is a distinct character, but that she's thematically related to Elizabeth and how in the various continuities within canon, there are themes of parents trying to "fix" their kids and finding that it doesn't work, or trying to "help" their kid by controlling them (Puppet in LEFTE), or they are putting their kids back together, or trying to program a robot to behave like your daughter. Neither Henry NOR William are satisfied with their work on Adult Charliebot/Baby. So Eleanor is calling back to those themes of unfair projections whether from oneself or others. I think Eleanor changes as a symbol slightly. The broader narrative involving the Stitchwraith and Eleanor running around collecting agony is about how people carry their pain around with them, and Eleanor is kind of representing the collective agony of all people, which is why it all gathers together. Everyone's suffering is bad and if we saw it all together in one place, we'd do something about it. Tbh I think in addition to the lore people should really read the books with an eye to what the message of the story is supposed to be. Just my opinion.

I mean Michael does look like Young William when he was raising Elizabeth , and they`re both somewhat psychopathic, wear purple all the time and pyromaniacal although Mike controls those tendencies for his job better than his old man ever did and also his voice is less posh and smokery and more emo than William`s which makes sense considering his trauma and guilt over what happened to his mom and younger siblings and not burning his father`s evil legacy down sooner.
No, it's not a good thing. Baby was set up to become a new villain after Afton. Instead she got shoved into the naughty corner and got incinerated right after her introduction. Baby in Sister Location was so mysterious. We FEEL like we know everything about her, but is that so? She barely appears in Sister Location and is a completely different character in FFPS. I hate how the only decently developed character is William Afton and even then we don't know everything. Why did they shove a fantastic villain in the ground for 4 characters to replace her and even then they're butchering the new characters too. As far as we know Vanny will become a second Circus Baby and might vanish as quickly as her. Baby needs justice.
Before I forget, have to say, we may still be able to see security breach in how it was- people are working on the blast to the past and remains mods to restore the scrapped content And from what I i can find, the glitchtrap and tractor pic is promo/concept art from curse of dreadbear
Fun that you had a Puppet in the background. NotRealName is a big Puppet fan. Yeah, before the Custom Night acknowledged Michael, many thought we played as William in SL. Even the "they thought I was you" could support the idea. NottyName has some pretty big suspicions on the 'make daddy proud'. I read a pretty nice fic with this 'opposing William, with wearing the then skin of who she believes is him and being this physically close to him making Elizabeth rather uncomfortable. And while she didn't think it was Michael until their brother confirmed it, there was also a flashback that could've given her a grudge on Mike. I could recommend reacting to NottyName's Sammy video. Really a perspective on Henry. I heard the twin tailed silhouette debated to be Novel Baby or Scrap Baby or maybe some other 3rd thing. Yeah, knew about FNAF for a long time before I finally joined in early '22. Maybe I just got bored of waiting for Bendy...

BUUUT I watched a video called “We solved FNAF and we’re not kidding” by DualProcess Theory.. they have a video explaining the vengeful spirit and some stuff about the Aftons that I hadn’t seen anyone else throw out there. The custody battle stuff vanessa went through does sound similar to your theory from your most recent video about Elizabeth not being present in fnaf 4 because of a custody battle. If she is Elizabeth or a metaphor for her it could be the games way of explaining some elizabeth lore?

I wish they weren’t trying so hard to mash the books into the games. They’re supposed to be two different continuities with a few points of overlap, like the names of the Aftons, Henry, and Charlie. They’re not supposed to be the same. I’m kind of worried they’re going to say the Mimic is Charliebot.

Yeah cuz in the story GGY changed the story to put GGY was the wizard's best pupil favorite pupil and that right Ryetoast's theory that vanny got jealous of because no one doesn't expect a little kid to be a genius mastermind hacker. And deleted the GGY personality by beating the balloon world minigame.
I have a hutch that the line "what makes you so special" isn't jealousy or envy from whoever is saying that line. It's not "Oh what makes you so special why am I not special? why wasn't I good enough" It's more curious, researching and questioning it's "Why on earth are so so special?? what makes you so special??". With the fact that Help Wanted 2 Vanny's cut lines has "It kept you for a reason" that "It" is most likely Mimic or Glitchtrap and that "you" is obviously the player (who may or may not be Cassie's dad). Which means the player had an encounter which Mimic or Glitchtrap but it kept him? either that means it kept him alive or kept him under control. And who ever is saying "what makes you so special" is curious on this and wants to know why "it" kept you.
The theory baby didn't know it wasn't her father is a dud she knew it wasn't her father there is no indication she ever believed otherwise especially as she actively talks to us and never mentions us looking like her father or anything close to that so for her to randomly think oh hey its my father make no sense she actively scooped us so she could escape as part of ennard if anything baby may no of even intended to scoop us but all the other animatronics DID intend to and then they used baby as a way to lure us after all we remove her chip which did something but we never find out what it did baby claims its her but it clearly wasn't
My understanding was originally that Elizabeth was kind of dormant inside Circus Baby, so until we take out that chip, she's not really in control. She says "I don't recognize you. You are new." but then later says "Isn't that why you came here? To be with her again?" indicating she does end up knowing who we are. And she refers to - presumably - Elizabeth as another person, "her" instead of "me" but once the chip is removed she starts speaking about herself as Elizabeth "I will make you proud daddy" So I guess if Circus Baby with Elizabeth dormant inside thought we were William it would make sense why she'd talk to us that way. Elizabeth wouldn't be the one betraying her father, but his creation that he abandoned after torturing would want him to suffer.
You know what. Just gonna say it. I think Elizabeth is Vanny. I also think Vanessa is still her own person, but Elizabeth as Vanny is the Hyde to Vanessa's Jekyll in a sense. Two souls inhabiting one body. I also get the feeling that Vanny is now (or going to be) her own individual/act completely of her own free will after she crushed Glitchtrap in her ending in Help Wanted 2 which a find to be a truly impactful act of defiance on her part. Maybe she'll continue to be the copycat killer or (even more alarming to me) become the new Glitchtrap, spreading her influence throughout the Pizzaplex/the series. Or something else entirely. This entire video just tells me that Steel Wool is heavily hinting Circus Baby's/Elizabeth's return.
