I find if you want to use a backdraft build with runaway you NEED to upgrade backdraft for the double damage bonus so it becomes a reliable one shot in combination with the other character that pairs super well with her, Jester! Using encore so you can do the whole burn front 2 setup with dragonfly and zealous before unleashing the big backdraft on the 3rd rank is good for turn 1 nova damage. I also prefer to use alchemist PD over surgeon so i can capitalize on cause of death more on bosses with alchemists increased dot duration on crits.
I think that theres enough burn héroes. Burn it's designed for less characters being able to use it, hence why almost no enemy except the Sprawl have High resistance to it.
It's not that they need more burn heroes, it's that the burn centric hero (Runaway) isn't the PD. ...and also that the sprawl and specifically it's boss is straight up immune to burn when other DoT "themed" regions (Shroud: bleed; Foetor/Sluice: Blight) have merely a high resistance. So if you're hankering for those juicy Burn Buffing trinkets, you're gonna need to have a backup plan to Runaway's (almost) exclusively burn damage moves. Where a plague doctor/hellion can still easily hold their own against the region's lair boss. (And also, your fate is entirely hinged upon how many coinflips you can win if you don't have the friendly neighborhood vestal/HWM for the librarian)
I've found pretty interesting team now, Wanderer Crusader, Runaway, Occultist, PD Runaway gives Firestarter to Occ, then uses Chaotic Offering, next turn Runaway uses Dragonfly to move back from 2nd to 3rd swapping Occultist and then he is using Anamnesis with Bleed 🩸 plus Fire 🔥 AoE, then PD adds Blight, Magnesium Rain.... Finally Cause of Death 💀
@@BorrasitoTakaTaka well I did for Front Line really he is healer and stress healer also, Occ and PD also heals. The only downside of this composition is movement, it can fuck up formation really quick, no mobility. Worst enemy is Shroud and HEAVE GODDAMN HO! from these damn moving zombies or SPEARFISHING.
I did run a damageless vestal seraph but that was working like a tank to tank hits and blinds. She was paired with a bannerette front reap crussader, dismas rogue front and glass cannon warlock occultist and worked pretty well.
I just done my run that Focused on,Firestarter Runaway,Encore Jester,Grapeshot Highwayman,And Stun Strip Paladin. Fast Start Path Runaway > Firestart to Dismas PBshot Rank one Highwayman, Encore to Highwayman, Grapeshot Dismas to set Atk Up Buff. Strip debuff using Paladin to set Round 2 Finale with Jester I didn't test it with backdraft yet but y can imagine how it goes,Quirk may affect your Strat but i found it kinda fun to play with
Yeah every hero needs their shrine abilities to shine. so its easy to do short runs to get them all. Im still thinking to make a Templar build as is the one ive been thinking of functionallity.
I used this comp myself but with alchemist instead, and it crushed act two easily, first time i won with runaway, i wanna try it again but with vestal in front and crusader in back as banneret.
It were good runs, but you stepped in your own trap with crusader. You tried to make him damage dealer, even tho you said before, that he is a support. Try using his bulwark of faith next time. With vestal regen and pet snake it heals a ton of health. Anyway, good luck on next run.

The thing is... Backdraft is not gonna ever be as good as before when it could crit, guaranted with orphan after using pyro... good times 🥲
It's funny they added a burn character and burn builds still needs at least one more haha

That sounds very cool comp, but why use wanderer crusader? Me thinks Banneret is like wanderer+ crusader.

The shackles item u got before the child would have been great to keep it from reaching the front and getting rid of the meat made it worse.
Im glad to see a burn build. As burn has been the least used dots.

Banneret is pretty different of average crusader too, but Templar really has it funcionality
Burn is lookedover in dots catagory , glad to see someone making a team como with it.

I did an all debuffs team.
Snap Judgement is the best trinket.
It's so good
@@Britishbrat I got it on a grave robber in a dance team with baby croc as pet. The Seething Sigh didn’t have a chance
