  • How to make a Tic Tac Toe game. How to make a Tic Tac Toe game from scrap pieces of wood.
    This is an easy projects to have a go making. Its also a cool gift to give children to play in the age of computer games!
    I used some scrap pieces of mahogany skirting board and some red deal off cuts.
    The magnets were purchased of eBay and it s finished in a clear varnish.
    Always be careful using tools and machinery!!

    Do you happen to know the rough dimensions for this project? I see below you said that this is about 4.5 x 4.5 inches. What circumference would you say the dowels should be?

      The diameter of the dowels are 1/2 inch.

      Hi, thank you. If I remember correctly it is 100mm x 100mm x 40mm the dowels are 12mm in diameter.

    what is the size of the magnets and where did you find them?

    Hmmm... I finally followed Ann's advice and took Stodoys. It's great for beginners and has some advanced stuff too.
