Superpro's suit reminds me of that of American Son, the Cap America wannabe from Marvel: Dark Reign. Both Harry Osborne and Gabriel Stacy wore it so Spidey's interacted with it at some point.
A story from the Spider-man comics, in it, Spidey literally sells his marriage to Mephisto (I hope I spelled that correctly, don't want to make THAT guy mad!) in order to save his aunt May's life.
Say Lewis is you get around to reading this (and I apoligize in advance if you've already been asked this a hundred times) have you tried finding the most notorious issue of this sort lived series NFL Superpro #6. That one was pulled from shelves because it offended Hopi Americans (along with anyone who was supposed to be entertained by it from what I've heard.) Bet that would provide a lot of material to burn!
@mjnoir1 Actually Linkara has explained this case in his review of "Pitt" #1. Usually comics become valuable when they feature important characters or events (like "Detective Comics" #15 featuring the first appearance of Batman) or they have been written by popular authors. "NFL Superpro" #1 is neither of this.
5:08 Quick Kick is also the name given to a member of G. I. Joe, probably by Marvel since they helped create G. I. Joe: A Real American Hero and The Transformers (TF G1).
Have you ever noticed that in these team-ups where the legitimate superhero teams up with a loser, that the legit one ends up acting like a dumbass to make the newb look good? I'm not ready for football anymore!
I would love Super Pro to get a Grant Morrisonesque Animal Man revamp. Given where football is now, he's such a goofy idea that's just begging to get insanely dark.
Jim Apparently football in general and the NFL in particular are so corrupt that it's necessary to create a hybrid of Captain America and Robocop to "protect the sport he loves from those who would corrupt it" and clean it up.
He got complaints about how he was making too many jokes about "One more day", so he hooked up a device that zaps him every time he brings it up during a review.
1:03 Once again I have to wonder if people who complain about Spidey's personality in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon actually know anything about Spider-Man's personality...
first of all ask on his blog or that guy with the glasses this isn't him second of all why ? spider-man 2099 (in my opinion) is awesome even better than normal spider-man or any other else world story.
granted this is a shitty comic but the fact (well maybe not fact but if there is any justice) that 99% of all copies are burning in hell would'nt this mean that issue number one would be worth some money? because its rare? is that how it works? or does the comic have to be popular and rare to be worth money?
"No you received!" That was pretty funny, actually
"Keep it quiet"
So obviously you're packing rocket/missile/RPG launchers and underbarrel grenade launchers.
Brilliant strategy Patton.
lol i love how Linkara judges spidey for stealing Superpro's material in this comic and yet he used one of Nostalgia critics old jokes for himself XD
4:09 one of my favorite jokes in this episode

I actually have this comic, I got it at a convention and only bought it cuz it had Spidey on the cover.
Depends if he's READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!
*pulls out magic gun* LAUGH DAMMIT!

the haircut was sponsored by the wwe legion of doom
I Wish he reviews One More Day to spot his rambling about Peter Parker's his Dying Aunt thing.
Adam West calls, he wants to know why you have so many puns
They should've went with a baseball hero. WAY More puns!

C'mon Linkara, the obvious pun was "Holes big enough for (insert crappy runningback name here) to get a 1,000 yards through."
He got complaints about how he was making too many jokes about "One more day", so he hooked up a device that zaps him every time he brings it up during a review.
Linkara you are awsome
0:26 - Even J Jonah Jameson would tell him to go see a different barber.

Im not afraid of your magic gun
Oh! I remember now! hey! I hear they're doing a Nintendo Wii remake for Punch out! what do you think of that?
"Quick Kick?" I hope the G.I.Joe shows up to beat the crap outta him!
i laughing hahahh dont kill me
He Kicks People in the Croutch to Death.
but he liked it the ultimate twist
but in all honesty i've never seen anyone who doesn't
Ironically, he just did that.
Hey linkara, can you review spiderman 2099?
Who's Little Mac?
if he's smart enough not to leave evedence behind then why isn't he smart enough to lock the back door?

The thugs in this comic look like Gwen’s kids from sins past and for that I hate it
