Why would you think they aren’t helping unpack? Pretty sure she doesn’t need people telling her how to set up her home.

She mentioned in her video that she was looking forward to getting back to eating food that wasn't fast food etc. I know that she is just one person and that Noah heads up the cooking. She has mentioned several times that she welcomes suggestions. She is also just one person and I have been worried about her stress level and health. Therefore, I provided a suggestion for her consideration. Please don't look into some other motive for my post that simply isn't there.

Since Noah does all the cooking , maybe he should be the one to un pack and put things away in the kitchen, then he will always know where everything is, I did that for my mom, worked out very well
It made me sad to hear you say that your kids are on their phones and computers while you are in chaos. They are old enough to be able to help organize their new home. You are going to run yourself into the ground.😢
They are responsible for their rooms which they are working on. Didn't mean they were doing nothing - just that they don't have the same stressers.
Have the kids help you unpack the kitchen and put away. Each take couple boxes a day and put away

I've pretty much quit rescuing things that I don't think I can sell for very much. I don't have the space and it was starting to depress me sitting around cluttering my space.

Not sure if you knew but most laundromats have a laundry service. They will do all your laundry pretty reasonably and you are all caught up!
Dani you have said many times how shopping is so therapeutic for you,,,, well watching you shop is therapeutic for me since i can't get out to go thrifting . I usually leave watching your adventures until it's late evening and I'm winding down because you really relax me. I love seeing you interact with the kids and your little babies and when you are sad I have a little ""mom talk ""with you. Thanks again for everything you share with us and teaching us as you go along. Our family moved into our house on December 15th. I made a joke about wrapping all the moving boxes and opening up on Christmas Day.
Then we could say, " I got toilet paper. I found the salt, pepper, and sugar, and a bunch of other spices, etc. But my kids weren't having it." 😂😂

Your kids are great and hopefully they step up and limit computer time and unpack their stuff and maybe together to work in organizing the kitchen and pantry for you. Helps in house normalization ( or at least it makes me feel settled in new place) when I can find silverware, glasses and plates. And food too in a pantry.

You made it through a difficult time these last few weeks and that is an inspiration to many. Oh and with your letter wall you can use Velcro to hang them so it’s easy to just pull letters down and put up a did word or saying. 1-pass on “ old couple”. Why? Im thinking of stuff in storage and these arent worth the effort.
2- I like your usual ending. I know some love the table… lol… it made me think of T Vegas (who is great) but I prefer the way you and Picker Rd do it- you talk about the item when picking, then the end give the helpful item details printed on screen (Name/Maker/I.D of item) with bought and value amounts. I like to play along and try to guess the value before it pops on the screen as the items scroll by… lol. To do both ( with table) seems redundant.

I can sympathize with no clothes after a move. And after about 4 moves within 4 years it finally came to me to pack a suitcase for clothes like going on vacation and then one with bed sheets and towels and a final one with, toiletries ( soap, shampoo, deodorant so will find immediately when moved to start at least while organization begins in the new place.
You have enough rescues. Maybe you should have rescued day on whatnot.

Really liked the colored cotten balls in the clear jar - a neat idea. You've got as much time as you like to get things in order at home Maybe since Noah is the chief cook he would like to organize the kitchen for his convenience. show us some snips of placement as you progress. Prayers of thankfulness are definitely the path to a successful outcome.

The poppy paintings are definitely from the 70s, I was doing a lot of oil painting back then and that is the brand of canvas board we used, also it was the style of frames to have a strip of burlap or natural fiber on the front of the frame. Nice paintings.

Cowhide is a natural product and it always has flaws. I have used it on furniture before being an upholsterer and when there are flaws, we use stain markers to color the spots in.
