I’m LOVING this lighter side of Tracy, she’s definitely still cut throat when she needs to be, but her softer side with family members and her attraction to Gregory and her friendship with him has really made me love her so much more. I literally HATE they have him dying, I’m praying the new writers can somehow have him misdiagnosed and save him.
I’m hoping for the same thing. However, ALS is a terminal disease, and it would be so unrealistic to have Gregory be misdiagnosed. Although, I am going to HATE to see the AMAZING GREGORY HARRISON, leave the show.

I kept rewinding to watch you Spinelli and everyone dancing while Kristina amd Joss were arguing. That was great! They should have shown more if the dancing!!!
Jane is still playing Tracy as she always has, there's definitely an edge there, but I do like how she's letting her age and experience contribute to the different colors she brings to the part now. As a fan since 1980, I am so grateful to have the Quartermaines represented to this day, including Jason, Ned, Tracy and all the rest. What a delight they have always been and still are!
Agree 💯!! Always have, always will love Jane Elliot as Tracy Quartermaine. And absolutely love how her character has evolved and even softened over the years while maintaining her edge and special brand of snark.
Tracy has definitely softened & become more feeling & matriarchal about her. And she puts her foot down (out of love of certain characters) when needed... like when she strongly negotiated for Gregory Harrison attending the wedding no matter what (and not canceling the wedding).😉👍
Tracy is the epitome of tough love. Tells it like it is but has become more loving. I especially like that Brooke Lynn calls her Granny😊
BTW, Steve, absolutely loved the Jason/Joss scene this week. My wife asked me if she sees Jason as a father figure, and I told her I think it's more like an uncle, in that he was like a brother to Carly for most of Joss's childhood. But I absolutely loved the dynamic between Jason and Joss, portrayed with such seeming ease and comfort by two of the very best performers in daytime history. Absolutely stunning and incredibly natural. Bravo!

The scene reminded me of the scene when Carly was locked up and Joss was going through teen angst that Sonny couldn't understand. Jason had a talk and again the promise to be there for Josslyn when she needs him.
I love how Jason is always there for Carly & her kids as well.. but Carly & Jason don't have a brother/sister like relationship. Brothers & sisters don't engage in certain activities that Jason & Carly have engaged in.. at least they shouldn't 🤔. I always cringe every time I see a comment saying that Carly & Jason were like siblings 🤮🤢. I know I don't do those things with my brothers 🤦.. & I hope y'all don't either. I think friends or even best friends is a better & more appropriate description of their relationship. Oh my goodness 🤣🤮🤨
Steve, I can really see your focus and intensity in all your scenes. There is something in your eyes that connects with whoever you are acting with. A deep sincerity. I’m really enjoying where your character is so far. Bradford, we need more of you! You are so talented. ❤️😊😉
In my eyes Steve Burton's eyes have been his strongest tool.

Spinelli going wild on the dance floor was hysterical! The scenes with Jason and Danny then Sam were so good but you can tell Sam’s hyped up since Jason’s back in town.

Great show and loved the bachelorette party... It reminded me of an often-cited era in which Robin, Liz, Emily, Lainey and Kelly used to get drunk on tequila at Jakes. Fans love to see realistic friendships and bonding that isn't always s/l driven. Win-Win! Thanks to you and GH
As a long time viewer, I loved the bachelor and bachelorette party. What breath of fresh air. The show needs more of those days. It has gotten so dark!

I find Sam totally hypocritical in her anger at Jason. She was quite the wild con-woman and then PI. So her life wasn't dangerous? Plus she lived and loved Jason has she forgotten those days? If Danny's wild he gets it from BOTH parents.
@@leannkish1810 because parents always want their kids to be better than them. I don't know why some fans are astonished by that concept. "Do as I say, not as I do/did" is the mantra for majority of parents.
Steve, love how you are fiercely defending how the current writers are bringing back the history and way of storytelling. For veteran GH watchers, we get it. I have read many FB comments about the bad storylines from 6-8 months ago and these people are forgetting that the current writers were writing incredible stuff years and years ago and have only been back for a few months. These "new" writers are not responsible for what temp writers wrote during the writer's strike. So happy you are back and I can't wait to see Jason and Spinelli reunite!
I thought these storylines now are from the new writers. It had been written that the writer Elizabeth was actually writing Jason's return stiryline.Her name appeared in the credits on March 4th along with the old writers.It also had been written that Jason return would be exciting.Of course maybe what I read was not true.But I do know that Jason allowing his sons to believe he was dead,to protect Carly and her children is more of the same.
Steve's ability to say something, without saying anything at all, always reminds me of the great Cary Grant's acting chops! I love seeing him back on screen!! - I also love the new writing!!! ❤

I agree , it never bothered me when Jason didn’t have much dialogue bc his expressions said it all he has become a master at not saying a word and everyone still knows what he saying.
I'd bet money the pictures Spinelli took will come back to haunt Blaze.
I love episodes where the characters are having fun, instead of being so serious all the time. I enjoyed watching everyone dance at Brook Lynn's party, and all the fun that was had at Chase's party. Tracy dancing had me dying of laughter. I also love the Jason/Danny and Jason/Joss scenes they were really great and shows how much Jason cares for both. And I love anytime we get to see Spinelli, especially having fun and dancing.
I think GH is moving into a better direction in general! What a nice change. In answer to Bradford's question, I would love to see more cast interactions at parties etc.

This podcast is so fun. I love the insight to the characters. I personally, would love to see Jason and Monica reconnect. They love each other so much. It would be so great to see that.
I love that things are slowing down again. Much more satisfying. It's pure joy watching all of your characters enjoy each other in these larger scene settings. Jane Elliot is brilliant!
JaSam is the SuperCouple trending every day and Sam should be involved in some action she is just scared to lose Jason again they need to reunite only reason you’ll the viewers.

I am a Sam fan first,but would love a JaSam reunion. But it is hard to not see where all storylines lead.At this point I want a decent storyline for Sam.Kelly Monaco is a good actress and the writers have not given her any to work with in3 years.Writers get Sam back to work and living her life!

Thanks so much for this episode. To answer your question YES!!! It is such a beautiful break from the “drama” to have our favorite characters experience some joy for a change. We are invested in our favorite characters and to have them in miserable, drama filled days constantly with no experiences of joy for years on end is a rough road. To have these moments where joy and celebration are a part of it makes the experience so human. It helps to connect with the character and not make it just a “show”. Hope that makes sense. The Jane Elliot personality change is really refreshing. To see how Luke’s death has impacted her in a way that has made her “feel” more empathetic and appreciative of her family is so heartwarming. I’m loving these new nuances. Thank you for sharing your perspective and BTS moments. So fun!!
I love the genuine fun scenes like they did for the bachelorette parties. I loved how Jane shook her butt right in the camera, it was so fun. Jane is definitely playing Tracey more soft but still with a little edge, she’s is THE BEST…love her❤. Love Jane and Tracey, so, glad Jane came back.
I didn't notice the dancing until he mentioned it so I had to back and watch it. That was great!
Bradford the party scene looked like a lot of fun - and was fun to watch! And you were wonderful
I love that Tracy has been playing herbal with her hair down and in different styles rather than always in a bun. She looks beautiful
I loved the scenes with Danny and Jason on Monday. Loved how Danny sneaked into Jason’s room and put on Jason’s jacket. Love Danny and Jason’s relationship. I loved how Jason did the right thing (as he always does) and took Danny back to Sam’s. Yes, Danny is so much like Jason and I’m loving it and especially considering it’s Danny because I’m a Jason and Sam fan. I miss the pool table at the Penthouse too. It’s just not the same, miss how the penthouse use to be. There isn’t a mirror there at the closet anymore. Jason should still be living there.
I can’t wait to see Spinelli and Jason reunion scenes.
Re the Stone Cold and the Jackal reunion, it's a bit weird that it hasn't happened, especially because Spinelli was looking for him with Maxi. Spinelli is spinning records and hasn't greeted Jason yet? Odd, but Steve made a good point about this being something more comfortable instead of contentious.
Yes, I've been curious about this as well. We need a Jason/Spinelli reunion, hopefully it happens soon.
The funniest scene ever on that set was when Robin asked Spinelli to be her baby daddy. Steve's reaction and expressions when she was asking Spinelli was hysterical.
I want an arc where Drew and Jason get a little closer. And one day where Drew and Jason have to work together for the good of those they love! I need it!!

I made the same comment recently about having the appropriate amount of guests for these two parties. This hasn't been done in a very long time. I ♥ the new directions these writers have taken things. I cannot wait to watch every day. The pictures Spinelli "took" were gold. So much fun!

Spinelli/Bradford you did a great nerd dancing and acting. My TV didn't record it so I missed almost half of it but I went online looking for anything of previews. I love when they have parties and the interaction of the characters but my absolute favorite shows involve all of talented singers on GH performing especially Bradford!

The answer is, soul love! They are pure unconditional love that transorms and becomes whatever the other needs at any and every stage/point in life. They see the core of each other before anything else and it's a beautiful thing.

I love to think that the actors had fun, and i liked very much the way they showed interactions between many characters like you would see in real life. In real life, you aren't just friends with people in your storyline!!

I don’t think Jason could see Carly as a sister if he tried!! Those two have gotten soulmate writing for decades!!! They’re at an age where they can be endgame and actually be in a stable,loving, romantic relationship without couple conflict but still having meaty stories without cheating/affairs etc.
I agree, Jason would totally have done the same for Sonny, Elizabeth, and Sam. He would have made the same deal with the FBI.
And Monica for sure!! There was a storyline in the 90s where Jason was willing to take the fall for Monica when she murdered (or was suspected of murdering) someone. I think it was the person who got Emily hooked on drugs.
If Jason had made the same deal for Sam or Elizabeth it would have made sense because he would have been protecting a mother of his children. Protecting Carly or Sonny and allowing is sons to believe he was dead is perplexing. How does Jason as a father chose to keep Carly's family intact rather than reunite with his sons? Writers you got to do better,because trust me this sucks!

We need more scenes with Jake and Jason! We've had quite a few scenes with Danny and Jason already, its Jake's turn! Have jake express his emotions and feelings to jason, lay everything on the table, and then have them hug it out in the end. Hudson would rock those emotional scenes if given the chance! Throw in some liz and jason scenes too, they have amazing chemistry when on screen together!
Yes, I was going to say the same thing. We need more Jake and Jason scenes. Jason should tell Jake and Liz that he had to work for the Feds and couldn't contact him. Loved BLQ's party. Tracy, Spinelli, Lois, and Olivia were hilarious. It was great to see that side of Tracy.

Steve's portrayal of Jason is always great. I love the way he is intense, but seems to also be able to control the emotions. That's an amazing skill set for an actor. It will be interesting also to see what the dynamic between Jason and Spinelli will be when they finally see each other again. I love you guys for who you are and how committed you are to GH and your fans. ❤

It really breaks my heart that when Jason went to play dad for five minutes at Lizabeths house Elizabeth told Jake afterwords your Dad loves you I saw it in the way he looked at you your dads not gonna make some big deceleration and say I’m your father and I love you he’s gonna keep coming around and show you then Jason leaves and almost a month later he hasn’t been back that makes me sad for poor Jake so Steve I thought I would remind you Jake turns 17 on may 4th hope you don’t miss it because they’re making you look like a shit father

Out of all three Elizabeth is the only one said she didn't believe Jason was dead. Because they have that connection.
@@teresabarker5381 I love Elizabeth their chemistry in the beginning was amazing but I’m still a fan of Jason and Sam. I hope they find their way back to each other. I love Dante too but just not with Sam. I also wonder if they are going to give Jason a new love or one of the ladies from his past.
Can’t wait for Jason and Spinelli to reconnect as best buds and I also would love to see more Jason and Dex scenes.

I loved watching the bachelorette party and all the fun. It’s really nice to see the characters having joy loved watching Spinelli dance and Tracey too! Don't like what they're doing with Sam. She doesn't want Jason around her son but Dante is surrounded with violence and corruption as well and she is blind to that. And it's difficult to watch her react to Jason in such anger and almost a hatred when she was so very much in love with him for so long. It hurts to watch it.
This overnight character rewrite of Sam with so much anger and hostility towards Jason is ridiculous and unbelievable. A few weeks before Jason returned Sam and Danny rode the motorcycle to the bridge.While at the bridge Sam told Danny how much she missed Jason and felt so close to him at the bridge.What the hell happened from then to actually having that man back in the flesh?As a mother you may refuse to let the father take his son on a trip because you are afraid. But who would forbid a son from seeing and spending time with his father who he thought was dead. The writers have got to do better, this change in Sam makes no sense.Another thing that makes no sense is Sam has not had a scene with Alexis or Molly.Surely her mother and sister would check on her and Danny after such a big and shocking surprise. Maybe in time the writers will get it together and gradually lay the groundwork for character changes.This out of the blue surprising and destructive character rewrite of Sam really needed some type of reason leading in.I'm a Sam fan and I want better writing and a decent storyline for her.Free her from Dante. Let her be a single working mom. Bring back the confident and independent Sam.

Loved that Spinelli was the DJ for Brooklyn’s bridal shower/bachelorette party such a fun episode. I think it’s hilarious that Spinelli is now a DJ. I loved that Spinelli was the only male at the bachelorette party. I saw you all doing the Cupid Shuffle…I wasn’t sure if it was the Cupid Shuffle or the Electric Slide but I noticed right away. Loved your dance moves, they were awesome. Love Jane to begin with but loved her in the bachelorette party scenes-love seeing Tracey having fun😉. It was such a fun episode. Loved the suit you wore. Make up in for commitment. I loved your shimmy and how they had you interact with Trinia-you and Tabyana were cute.
I’m loving the group scenes again and I love the longer scenes like we had back in the day. I love the feel of how it was in the 1980’s and 1990’s, I’m loving it.
Also, I respect Steve for defending Sam/Kelly because I know her character is getting dragged(unfairly imo) through the mud. I've always wondered if that messes with the actor/actress's psych?(idk if you guys have ever been asked that question) Yeah, Sam's past is shady, but Steve is right, Danny is her beloved cub and she has valid concerns.
Kelly Monaco is a good actress.Unfortunately the GH writers have not given Sam a storyline in 3 years. I was hoping that Jason's return would be perfect opportunity for a storyline for Sam, Danny,and,Jason.For some reason I was expecting them to be co-parenting and providing Danny support and love.Right now it looks like that is way down the list .If it is even on the list.
Sam is my girl from 2004,because I liked her strength,spirit, and her feistiness.The GH writers have dulled her down.I hate that Sam is getting such nasty and crude comments related to this storyline.Her past has nothing to do with her concern for her son's safety. Sam Fan always.

“If they had the same thing on Sam or the same thing on Elizabeth I would have done the same thing” too bad TPTB have no interest in writing that story and instead have everything be all about Carly all the time. Jason didn’t bother to tell his kids when Carly and Jason got engaged, rushed to tell her kids first, but couldn’t bother to tell them to keep their mouths shut until he told his own, so Sam and Elizabeth had to overhear Michael talking about it at a bar. That’s why we believe he’s putting Carly over his kids, that’s the way they write it every time. Drew just did the same thing, went to prison so Carly didn’t have to. Ignored his own kid because he decided Carly’s kids needed her more. We’re tired.

I agree with everything you wrote.This return storyline has been more of the same,Jason protecting Carly and her children and now Dex has been added.I know the 2 meetings with Sam were very terse,but Jason didn't even ask what issues Danny was having.At the PCPD Sam mentioned Danny had issues but wouldn't tell Jason any more. To me this is something he should be trying to find out about.Maybe he can pencil it in !
I forgot to mention how thrilled I am to see Steve back on the show! I almost cried when I found out!
