  • here’s a clip from a Brunch gig. This tune is one of my old stand-bys. definite nods to the Eddie Lang recording, some Matt Munisteri-isms, and some ideas that have emerged as I continue to tinker with this one. The original sheet music has it in the key of G, which would open up some nice ideas for guitar. I intend to mess with that at some point, but for now I’m playing it in C. Enjoy

    Ah, thanks again for sharing your talents! I am (like many) most familiar with Eddie Lang’s version. Yours is a compelling take.

    I can hear the influence of both Lang (of course) and Munisteri here but, too, things that I'm coming to associate with your own well-conceived style. I like C -- you could always modulate from that to G, as Eddie goes from C to A, an interesting choice, in his version.
