    Michelin Cup 2 R tyres
This is easily a 2:34 or better car around Spa.
Messed up braking (way too early) at the end of Kemmel, dirty tyres (rubber getting unstuck at Pouhon), traffic through Blanchimont and some other minort excuses for the lack of pace :)

Amazing! So rare to see these cars driven this well. Amazing car control at the limit there, looking forward to seeing you on track some time!

    Stock alignment?
Do you have oem brake pads and fluid too?

Camber is -2.0 on all 4 corners on stock parts. Everything on the car is oem, as it came off the showroom floor:)

Brilliant lap, great fight, congratulation 👍
How many laps lasted the Cup 2R tyres at full capacity ?
I experienced the 2R at Spa, very good on 20 laps including heating laps but after that they were worst than the 2 standard…4 sec worst…
    I was a bit desappointed for the cost…3000 € global cost…

    • @spychciu

They are much faster than the regular Cup2s until they are completely worn out for me. You can find a set for 2000 EUR if you look around. I think I could make them last two full days at Spa. Disregarding the lifesapn and pushing every session would make it a day and a half tops.

Very nice. The pace is ace. I am not there yet by a long way and look forward to finally run below 3 minutes in my Elise next year. Did you leave ESP on? It looked like it took very little intervention when the rear stepped out and you were able to use a lot of throttle modulation.

Assists are always ON. Don't feel like they slow me down at all, and I prefer to have some help when things get out of hand. That lap could have easily been a second faster.

@@spychciu Thanks for that insight. These systems have developed well, especially with Porsche it seems. Spinning is no fun in Spa. Glad you can employ those helpers without feeling they hold you back, even at that pace.

Clean throttle application will help. Once only. Not on and off all the time. Also be more patient and let the car rotate. Everything is too rushed and you have a tendency to go in too hot.

    • @spychciu

There's many things wrong with this lap. Just personal best effort driving there on Cup2R for the first time. Thx for the input.

@@spychciu It is easy stuff to fix. You are fast and that is the bit that can’t be fixed if it isn’t there! Great to watch and nice to see the car being made to work.

new tires and less curb at speakers corner might help. Also try and hold of on throttle when exiting pouhon. Just a tip from a fellow driver

    • @spychciu
      @spychciu  Год назад

Tires were good for a 2:34 on this run, new will surely do better. Agreed on the curb:) Pouhon is usually flat mid to exit but this time there was rubber debris getting unstuck from the rear tires (you can hear it in the vid), hence the hesitation on throttle.
