Omg.. this resonates me a lot. Because i don't show off, value a person's energy than money, feel from the ❤ , love everyone and everything and loyal... two people i dearly love thought i'm naive and innocent, poor , boring , dependent and maybe not beautiful... But after a tragic family matter.. I said to myself, enough is enough. Now they want to get to know me more. But my loyalty stays with me and i treat myself the best.
I do have a shadow side that i have to work on.. i experience racism and that kept me not achieving what i wanted but when i look back, there are many different ethnic groups helped me throughout my journey, the reason for the racism is i kept the negative actions closer to my heart than the positive, it is hard to reverse the feeling i felt while i was getting hit by the racism issues but nothing is impossible to overcome and first stage to overcome is to get back there without expecting anything. Im going forward and i'm hopeful to learn from the experiences coming ahead.

1000% it’s my ex/baby father. He keeps trying to control me/put me in my place but he’s so stupid it always falls flatttt! He then feels stupid and tries to intimidate me. And when it does seem like I’m “being controlled,” that’s just me choosing to do the right thing rather than react in a negative way or it’s me being strategic, losing the battle to win the war. Overall I just try to focus on the highest good and doing the right thing for my daughter. If he wants to think he,”got one over on me,” let him, that’s his low vibrational thinking. I’ve always been a striver, living well, not in drama. He’s trying to make success a race when I’m not even in that! Like literally don’t care what he’s doing! I cannot wait till he finds someone else to focus on cuz he’s obsessed and it is creepy and a lot to deal with energetically and emotionally.

It was a massive challenge to network in my city with the existing music scene because it’s heavy male dominant and very few black females. The music industry is not open minded in Canada when Black Women enter the space. I started a blog in 2009 as a school project while I studied a post grad in PR/Communications and it’s taken 15 years with the use of my blog as a tool to meet people in the scene around the world! Finally,in 2024 I’ve done my third project/event and I turned my back on all the judgemental gate keepers. It’s tough to combine PR + underground music to build a business and idea that doesn’t exist but I planted seeds. I was shunned a lot but I never gave up. I know many didn’t believe in me,hated my personality and that I was the standard template they are willing to support BUT idc 😂
