I have volumes one and two- waiting on my copy of volume three- and I've read them while traveling and the spines held up great. I may eventually have these converted to HC. Thanks for the overview, and I'm glad these comics are getting new life.
Comics like this in my humble opinion deserve to be recognized MORE. There’s so many good stories in these , and it makes me sad that DC doesn’t give them more promos for these new compendiums. These comics made history and I hope they continued to be celebrated. Well done overview Omar. You did it Justice.

My LCS added most of the Dakotaverse to my pull list at the time and told me that they'd added a few books they thought I'd like. For the most part they were 100% correct and I collected almost the entire run and was crushed when things came to a close. Those were some amazing stories back then and hold up brilliantly today. The only negative was the coloring looked VERY muddy and overly dark. Glad to see these Compendiums have resolved that. The art in comparison to the original books looks amazing. If these are ever printed in oversize format I would definitely pick them up
Breezed through and loved Vol 1 last year. Xombi was my favorite series for sure. Have Vol 2 & now Vol 3 to still read. Hopefully more Xombi in Vol 4 & 5 to complete that story. Great reviews, Omar!

Did not expect Blood Syndicate to become my favorite since I already knew Static, Icon and Rocket from the animated shows.
Static and Icon are great comics with great execution, some of the other series don't fulfill their initial promise in my opinion but are still very entertaining reads.
I'm new to the milestone wold and am currently in the middle of reading compendium 2. Is compendium 3 the last one that ends the original milestone run or will we be getting a 4th book?
Picked up the first compendium because I always wanted to read these in the 90's. I kinda love the compendium format... want a compendium of Transformers MTMTE somehow someway.
Probably two, possibly three depending on how much of the later material they want to collect. Personally I would like a volume with all of the post-Milestone Forever (but pre-New 52) appearances such as JL: When Worlds Collide, Brave & the Bold, Xombi v2, the Static anniversary special, and maybe the Dakota arc of Terror Titans. I'm also not sure where they're going to put Rebirth of the Cool.

Hey is New Mutants Vol 3 good? Im still in the beginning of vol 1 and see it on Sale now along with Wonder Man for $50 bucks
