It's unbelievable that these two men are no longer with us. I have been wearing my Saint Benidect Medal which has had the exorcism blessing on it since I first watched this video 4-5 years ago. I have also gave these medals as gifts to close friends and family. One placed over my front & back doors of my house for protection. #Rip

My husband and I live in a huge apartment complex and some of our neighbors have issues with me though I’ve NEVER bothered them (as other neighbors have told me). Since my husband and I moved here 6 years ago I’ve had unexplained aches and pains that actually keep me from going to Sunday Mass. Recently a traditional Catholic friend mentioned to me that maybe one of my neighbors put a spell on me on something, which could possibly be because our apartment complex has of over 100 apartments and anyone could be practicing Wicca or something like that. I wear a blessed St. Benedict 98% of the time but I need to start saying the prayer (or exorcism) that’s on the medal hoping it will help me.

Jesus in the bible talks about how crafty the devil is all the time his whole ministry was about casting demons out and for 40 days he was tempted and he showed us exactly what to do. And said we have authority over demons. That's why I like benedict he was never afraid. Amen

    • @TheFatimaCenter
      @TheFatimaCenter  5 лет назад +2

Our Lord gave power over demons to certain persons whom He sent to preach in His Name. This power and authority were not given to all mankind. It would be both dangerous and inappropriate, therefore, for a layman to presume to employ prayers of exorcism which are intended for the use of authorized exorcists. See Acts 19:15 God bless you.

@@TheFatimaCenteris it ok though, to pray to St Benedict and to ask for protection or to St Michael asking him to protect and cast out demons?
Also, when I had my sacramentals blessed by a priest, I don’t know what prayer he said over them? I hope he said the exorcism prayer but I just don’t know. I had to assume it was a general blessing but I don’t know. He also did not have any holy water on him, as all the holy water seems to have vanished from churches these days after Covid and I notice it hasn’t come back even as of 2024! More recently, I took my own holy water when I went to church and asked the priest to bless my Sacramental St Benedict and Our Lady medals and use my own holy water that I had purchased from Lourdes.

@@lapislazuli7876 Thank you for your reply. Asking the saints for protection is always good and useful. The Church's blessings are powerful means of protection from evil as well, so it is worthwhile to ensure that the blessings are appropriately made. There would be no harm in asking a different priest to bless those items. We would suggest that you approach a priest who uses the traditional rites not only to ensure that the appropriate prayers would be used, but also so that the holy water used would carry its own proper blessing. The prayer for blessing a Miraculous Medal can be found on page 433 of the Ritual. God bless you.

Fr Gruner, my friend discovered the Jubilee Medal of St Benedict in a package her family sent from Ireland. She knew nothing about it plus the words around the medal are in Latin.
I looked it up on internet, and found the prayers in English therefore confirming it is good.
My question is: my friends name is Teresa. Teresa met a women in her building who said her daughter was possessed. She felt the mother was as well. Teresa left the woman feeling dark and dread. She had the medal in her purse and had'nt taken it out to wear it. That night Teresa had a nightmare of the devil flashing red eyes in her face. She felt him pick her up and with force, he squeezed her waist. She knew it was real because there was pain in her body and his eyes stayed fixed on her. She began to pray the Our Father and he left her.
If Teresa had the medal in her purse, would it not have protected her since we prayed the prayer together before she went home"?
Thank you in advance for your holy thoughts on this matter.
    Peace through Prayer,
    Maryann

      From the Roman Ritual 1964
      sensusfidelium.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Roman-Rite.pdf
      31. BLESSING OF MEDALS OF ST. BENEDICT
(Formerly reserved to the Order of St. Benedict)
The priest who is to bless the medals of St. Benedict says:
P: Our help is in the name of the Lord.
All: Who made heaven and earth.
I cast out the demon from you, creature medals, by God the Father almighty, who made the heavens and the earth and the seas and all that they contain. May all power of the adversary, all assaults and pretensions of Satan, be repulsed and driven afar from these medals, so that they may be for all who will use them a help in mind and body; in the name of the Father almighty, of Jesus Christ, His Son, our Lord, of the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, and in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is coming to judge both the living and the dead and the world by fire.
      All: Amen.
Lord, have mercy. Christ, have mercy. Lord, have mercy. Our Father (the rest inaudibly until:)
P: And lead us not into temptation.
All: But deliver us from evil.
      P: Save your servants.
All: Who trust in you, my God.
P: Let us find in you, Lord, a fortified tower.
All: In the face of the enemy.
P: The Lord will give strength to His people.
All: The Lord will bless His people with His peace.
P: Lord, send us aid from your holy place.
All: And watch over us from Sion.
      P: Lord, heed my prayer.
All: And let my cry be heard by you.
P: The Lord be with you.
All: May He also be with you.
      Let us pray.
Almighty God, lavish dispenser of every good, we humbly ask that by the prayers of St. Benedict you pour out your blessing on these sacred medals, impressed with letters and signs ascribed to you. Let all who will wear them with hearts intent on good works deserve to obtain health of mind and body, your holy grace, and the indulgences that have been granted to us. And may they escape by your merciful help all attacks and wiles of the devil, and finally appear in your presence sinless and holy; through Christ our Lord.
      All: Amen.
      Let us pray.
Lord Jesus Christ, who willed in redeeming the whole world to be born of a Virgin, to be circumcized, rejected by the Jews, betrayed with a kiss by Judas, bound in chains, crowned with thorns, pierced with nails, crucified between robbers, wounded with a lance, and to die at last on the cross; I humbly ask, by this your sacred passion, that you expel all attacks and wiles of the devil from the person who devoutly calls on your holy name, using these words and signs ascribed to you. May it please you to lead him (her) to the harbor of everlasting salvation, you who live and reign forever and ever.
      All: Amen.
May the blessing of almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, come upon you and remain with you forever.
      All: Amen.
The priest sprinkles the medals with holy water.
      32. SHORT FORM FOR BLESSING MEDALS OF ST. BENEDICT
(Formerly reserved to the same Order)
(Approved by the Congregation of Sacred Rites, Dec. 13, 1922)
The first versicle and the exorcism are the same as those given under No. 31. Then follow the versicles beginning with "Lord, heed my prayer," etc. and the oration "Almighty God," etc.; after which the medals are sprinkled with holy water.

A Benedictine rosary is a string or chain sort of rosary on which a St. Benedict's medal in found, either on the crucifix or where the loop joins the short strand. www.google.com/search?q=benedictine+rosary&rlz=1C1CHMO_enUS535US535&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj0vMPEufnfAhVyUt8KHYe6BusQsAR6BAgEEAE&biw=1366&bih=589

TheFatimaCenter thanks it makes sense to avoid such a place. I have a lot of faith and believe it’s helped me at work I also wear the rosary too because I know I really needed too because I started to feel really bad like there was this evil spirits all around me I work for a large gym franchise and roughly 1000 people walk thru them doors every day and since i work night shift five days Monday thru Friday night by myself so two days straight of this feeling really weird I had enough so a friend recommended I buy a saint Benedict medal and wear the rosary so I prayed and the next night on Wednesday as I opened the door to work it felt like it didn’t want to open but it opened so I walked in and it felt like a fresh new building. A few things I noticed I felt more positive no negative thoughts not feeling like there was any evil presence around and it’s also noticeable that the people that I would talk to don’t go as much and some shy away. I’m blessed and pray every day. I’ll admit I’m really a nice forgiving caring person and did not go to church often or pray much but I do now and have noticed a spiritual change it’s like my home has had a complete makeover over but nothing has moved like I went on a week long trip and came back and you know that feeling like the house feels different? But in a good way. In the name of the father the son and the Holy Spirit Amen 🙏

@@georgepena5595 God bless you for your faithfulness in resisting the baneful influences in your surroundings. Wearing or carrying blessed sacramentals such as a St. Benedict medal or a rosary is a powerful means of protection, as you have found. To pray the Rosary every day (if possible, even all 15 decades) is much more powerful still, and to receive the Sacraments of Penance and Holy Communion worthily, fervently, and frequently is unfathomably greater yet.

Hello Fatima center , question please : is your name praised to muslim prophet daughter named Fatima or different Fatima ?

    • @TheFatimaCenter
      @TheFatimaCenter  4 года назад +1

Thank you for your inquiry. The village of Fatima, Portugal (where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to three children in 1917 with an urgent message for all mankind) does indeed have a Muslim namesake, indirectly linked back to the daughter of Mohammed.
In the time of the Moorish occupation of the Iberian Peninsula, the Muslim sheikh or sultan who ruled Alcacer do Sal - the region where (centuries later) the apparitions of Our Lady would take place - had a daughter whom he named Fatima, after Mohammed’s daughter. When the Crusaders drove the Moors out of the region, the young princess Fatima chose to remain among her Christian captors, having fallen in love with one of the Crusaders, Don Goncalo Hermingues. She converted to the Catholic Faith, was baptized under the name Oureana (from which the village of Ourem took its name), and married Hermingues in the year 1158, but she died soon afterward. The heartbroken widower Don Goncalo left his position as Count of Ourem to become a Cistercian monk in the abbey of Alcobaca, about twenty miles distant. A short time later, the abbey founded a small priory in the mountains neighboring the region where Don Goncalo and Fatima had lived, to which Brother Goncalo was now sent. Goncalo had his dear bride's remains also translated to this priory. The region thus began to be called by her name, and it has retained the name of Fatima to this present day. • @TheFatimaCenter
      @TheFatimaCenter  9 лет назад +13

+Clayton Rushgreen Father’s point was that the St. Benedict medal, like the Brown Scapular and the Miraculous Medal, gives its wearer a powerful protection against demonic influences. The St. Benedict medal is unique in that it contains within its cast image a prayer of exorcism.
Around the margin of the back of the medal are found the letters V R S N S M V - S M Q L I V B, the initial letters of a Latin prayer of exorcism against Satan: “Vade retro Satana! Nunquam suade mihi vana! Sunt mala quae libas. Ipse venena bibas!” (Begone Satan! Never tempt me with your vanities! What you offer me is evil. Drink the poison yourself!)
As was mentioned in the program, any priest is authorized to perform the necessary blessing on a St. Benedict medal. Here is the prayer:
EXORCISM & BLESSING OF THE MEDAL OF ST. BENEDICT
Priest: Our help is in the name of the Lord.
Response: Who made heaven and earth.
Priest: In the name of God the Father + Almighty, Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, I exorcise these medals against the power and attacks of the evil one. May all who use these medals devoutly be blessed with health of soul and body. In the name of the Father + Almighty, of His Son + Jesus Christ our Lord, and of the Holy + Spirit the Paraclete, and in the love of the same Lord Jesus Christ Who will come on the last day to judge the living and the dead.
      Response: Amen.
Priest: Let us pray. Almighty God, the boundless Source of all good things, we humbly ask that, through the intercession of St. Benedict, Thou pourest out Thy blessings + upon these medals. May those who use them devoutly and earnestly strive to perform goods works be blessed by Thee with health of soul and body, the grace of a holy death, and remission of temporal punishment due to sin. May they also, with the help of Thy merciful love, resist the temptations of the evil one and strive to exercise true charity and justice toward all, so that one day they may appear sinless and holy in Thy sight. This we ask through Christ our Lord.
      Response: Amen.
The medals are then sprinkled with holy water.

Strangely, I went to a surplus sale with my family a while ago last year and I found this Black bracelet with the medals on it and a couple of other bracelets. I thought it was really cool so I bought the whole bag for $1. I got home put it away and forgot about it for months. 2 days ago I found it in a jewelry box I never touch and thought it looked great with my outfit, I put it on and I've been wearing it since. Just a few hours ago I was going to the store with my sister and I saw something on the ground that looked like something old and important so I for some reason picked it up, and I never pick things up off the ground because it feels wrong to do. I was asking my sister what it was because it was all in Spanish as I started feeling foolish for picking it up. (Mind you I had never seen this symbol before I looked it up 2 days ago, just to confirm that what I was wearing wasn't a bad thing) Because I did a bit of research on the bracelet I was wearing, I started to recognized the medal. I put it next to my bracelet and saw the medal on the paper was the same on my wrist. My sister and I were like "Whaaaaa?" So now I'm doing a crap load of research and I'm fascinated.

We would expect the special blessings and exorcism prayers associated with the St. Benedict medal to make it of greater value than any mere necklace for protection from demonic attacks. Of course far more powerful still than any sacramental, including priestly prayers of exorcism, is to make frequent and fervent use of the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion.

The Church's sacramentals (including prayers of exorcism, and blessed medals), have an efficacy which depends on a variety of factors (unlike the Sacraments, which infallibly and of themselves produce the grace which they signify in souls who put no obstacle in the way of those graces). If Almighty God allows devils to menace us in spite of our prayers and the prayers of the Church for deliverance from those assaults, He does so according to a Providence which orders all things to the good for those who truly love Him. "To them that love God, all things work together unto good, to such as, according to His purpose, are called to be saints." Rom. 8:28

Every religious object is required to be blessed for it to give proper protection. Otherwise, it is just a piece of silver or wood or whatever the case may be.
By the way, although, St. Benedict's medal is specific for warding off evil. The Miraculous medal and St. Joseph medal are also designed specifically to fight the Devil and all evil.
I personally wear St. Joseph's medal.
All medals when blessed, worn devotely, coupled with staying in Gods grace will provide protection against the devil.
Lastly, Thee most power medal against the devil is called the Agnus Dei. Its a picture with a piece of wax from the pastoral virgin candle blessed directly by the pope. It is literally consecrated.
Agnus Dei are not made anymore but can be found online, sold as antiques.
