I got some real Polaris vibes from that breakdown riff. Went super hard with the stop-start groove rather than just chugging like your usual metalcore break.

This track was more "Architects" than Animals, and I love it! People have been dogging on their change in style, but I'm a little relieve to hear them change up a little bit. Don't get me wrong, Architects have been my favorite band for probably 10 years! But, one can only listen to recycled LF//LT riffs for so long..

I think FTWWTE will be a real journey, all four songs so far have a different feel and theres another 11! to go. FYI Discourse is Dead could have fit on Holy hell, and has older architects feel with big chorus, and more synth. Then Dead Butterflies is maybe most ambitious, atmospheric and epic. Reminded me a bit Thrice, (Red Sky?) Sam’s scream in the chorus will shed tears live at shows. So excited for this album.

Honestly im lil bit dissapointed of their new style, the tempo so slow but heavy as fuk, the breakdown is not bouncy like their albums before. I love how they creating Holly Hell, Sam voices so fukin sick.
I've come to expect a burning fire in the belly passion from Architects songs, I just don't feel it from that. It's very plain and predictable. It's not a bad song at all, it's actually very good but so many years of excellent songs have my expectations so much higher. Compare that to These Colours Don't Run, Nihilist or Alpha Omega. Its nowhere near the standard. I'd say Animals is much better of the two new songs.
