It is underrated! As we speak, I am editing my next video, where I take the Versys-X on a long-distance ride, 1000 miles in under 15 hours. The 300 was screaming!
I HAVE A 23 VERSYS 300X AND LIKE MY ROYAL ENFIELD 411 HIMAYAYAN, IF YOU DROP THE BIKE THEY ATTOMATICALLY SHUT OFF!!!. LOOKS LIKE YOU NEED BETTER TIRES!!! GLAD YA MADE IT... EAGLE-SAN IN CO.
Not buying the " to much power theory " , l am on my second 300 x , they are not powerhouses. You came in hot , not on your side of the road, and tried to steer it back abruptly, and your tires lost traction. If you listen to the video at no point, do you really over rev it until you are down. Great video nonetheless, l really enjoyed it. Have a bunch of mods on my bike, but your spill has re enforced the need for me to buy a 90's dr350 brake pedal off ebay and graft the folding tip onto the Verseys .
Good video including the crash. Not being a cleverdick. Yes, came in too hot, poor line choice, rear end slipped on the off camber part of the road. Lucky there was no cameras when I had all mine. 😂
With 28,000 miles on your X300 it is bound to happen and take a little spill on the loose gravel. Safe travels ! Check out my X300 channel if you are interested in watching accessory installs and mods.
I don’t know what tire pressures you’re running. If they are at factory specs, you might consider airing down 20% for gravel & off-road. That back tire didn’t look like it was wanting to bite the road. Great video though!
This video was awesome!!!! The Versys is one of the most underrated motorcycles. You showcased exactly why this bike excels. It is truly versatile!

What an idiot!
I try to avoid gravel, but it’s what I learned on. Very untrustworthy stuff. You did good
Great video. Glad you made it out of the spill w/o a scratch essentially. Awesome demo of the bike's capabilities. Thanks for it all!
Thanks for the video. Having fun is what it’s all about.
You got that right!
They are tough when properly equipped with lever and engine guards. Enjoyed watching!
Yes, they are! Thanks!

That wasnt a sharp 🪒 turn ouch😮
Seems like it happened by adding power to soon what do you think?
I would agree. Too soon and probably too much! Thanks for watching!

Too much rear brake?

Always opt for a more dirt oriented tire, mfg can make knobbies decent on road but you cant make a street tire good offroad
Crashing happens.. but what touring screen is that you have? ☺️
National Cycle. The link is in my description for the exact model. Does an awesome job with wind and has held up to some abuse.
😮
I'm josie😊 ❤love you
Love ya too! ☺
first thing I put on my 300x was the engine guard
Good move! Definitely worth the investment.
@@SheldynRyder it was a cheap one off Amazon
@@sauerOFkraut Nice! Without a guard, the exhaust and oil filter are pretty exposed on this bike.

Thanks! I have watched a few of your videos. The LED one helped alot when switching my lights.

Yeah, I probably should air down a bit!
Has anybody else complained about this video croaking at the stop? Or maybe it is youtube or maybe my Chromebook? Not all youtube videos do it.
I haven't heard that from anyone else! That is odd!
Missouri is a peaceful, beautiful state. Except in the Liberal cities.
