Thank you so much Bob for your kind review of my "Cooking With Lovecraft" !!!
No problem! I'll let you know once I've actually tried the recipes.
I enjoyed hearing your thoughts
Thanks!
Crime and Punishment is most definitely horror. I would even classify The Idiot is as horror as well, at least parts of it.
I’d agree with that
Another reading list that doesn't disappoint! Interesting selections. I plan to get the Lovecraft cookbook as a companion to my Necronomnomnom.
Those two really do go well together.
@@Phobophile I also think it's time to read Ray Garton. I just have to figure out where to start.
@@tamaraw3620 Live Girls was my first of his. Not sure if it’s the best or not but I liked it.
@Phobophile I do think I have a copy, based on one of your previous videos. I'll have to check my tbr mountain.
Your book updates are my favourite videos of yours because of how diverse your reading taste is.
If you like cook books, let me recommend one:
My Portugal by George Mendes
My whole family is rooted from Portugal, and if you want a good tasty dive into Portuguese cuisine, as well as stories from the Portuguese country side, it's fantastic.
I’ll give that a try. I don’t think I have a Portuguese cookbook, come to think of it.
Crime and punishment is horror, with the crime, then the horse thing, then all the madness with that family, and Skali himself. A book thats worth checking out that came out 1 year later is Térése Requin by Émile Zola. "The Stranger by Albert Camus" is also quite good, as is "Payment Deferred" by CL Forester.
My next couple Russian reads are "A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" and "Aliens, Travelers, and other Strangers" which is a compelation of Soviet era sci‐fi.
99% sure you already know but that's not the origonal ending to Crime and Punishment, Raskolnikov "logged himself out" origonally.
I’ve read about half of those. Good stuff. Ivan Denisovich will knock you on your ass.
My cousins blind and even though i know it qas a joke ive found audiobooks make really great gifts for all those blind readers in your life 😅
