- In this video, we will show you how to install and configure Fortinet firewall, in EVE-NG.
We will start by introducing EVE-NG and its capabilities as a virtual network and security testing platform.
Next, we will walk you through the process of setting up a virtual machine in EVE-NG
Once the firewall is installed, we will demonstrate how to configure basic firewall rules about how you can access it using its GUI
By the end of this video, you will have a good understanding of how to install and configure Firewall in EVE-NG and will be able to use this knowledge to set up and test your own network security scenarios.
I have the same problem that another guys told about the firewall turn on and turn off in few seconds. I tryed to use virtual box and vmware workstation, both the same error. I put 4 cores and 8 gb for the VM. Thanks!

please go to CMD of your Fortinet firewall and use command 'execute factoryreset' and at the same time go to your Fortinet firewall and add your credentials. it will take the image from your support website.

you need to probably increase the cores and ram. ( 4 cores and lets say 8gb). Then on the eve edit fortinet and add 2 gb and 2 cores

@@thiagogomesmachado did you increase it on both vm ware itself and in the options when you add fortinet nod ?
@@EditHandle7 yes! I put 8 GB in the VM e 4 GB in the fortinet nod, but not work. The same problem, he turn on, in 2 seconds turn off.
While accessing via gui it asking for Valid license how i can bypass this

idk if you found the solution yet but you have to log in to the interfacy htnl5 rather than native to see the console

Could you please check if u provide the correct permissions and also check if u can decom the fw from the support websites and add it back ( also add that video as well).
If possible follow the video till end and see if u did any mistake.

@@mahmouddaboul5222 I try to do this, but not work for me, I have the same problem the turn on e turn off. Just for the fortigate, when a I use cisco, it work normally.

Please check your settings in winscp and please check the name you gave in eve-ng. I suggest you to provide the same name and also check for permissions to that.

The Problem could be that the browser isnt able to open the telnet address/putty. Try to Mouse-Over the Fortigate Node in eve-ng to see the telnet address. Now you can login manually with putty.
hello, i downloaded the "New deployment of FortiGate for KVM
FGT_VM64_KVM-v7.4.1.F-build2463-FORTINET.out.kvm.zip" but i can't extract on my Desktop?? it says "The Archive is either in unknown format or damaged
