    If you want to play this, I recommend starting with your fingers. A few seconds in, use your toes as well, then your head, elbows, tongue or basically any body part you can. Towards the middle it's easier just to get up on your piano and stomp around like a chicken, I found it much easier with my family helping me with this step. Near the end lie down on your piano and flop around like a fish trying to breathe. Finish with your fingers again and then go out and buy a new piano because it's likely you just broke your old one.

    My thoughts:
    0:04 Uuh, so easy? It clearly says here Hardest piano songs ever #7...
    0:29 Okay, change in tempo. Will something happen?
    0:47 That looks a bit difficult... but I've seen worse.
    0:55 Is that even possible for a human brain to remember?
    1:03 Okay... we're still good.
    1:22 I don't think we're gonna be so good soon... this is bad...
    1:28 RIGHT HAND! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
    1:40 Plants vs Zombies?
    1:48 Not again right hand...
    1:52 This is even worse than the first one.
    1:57 Again?
    2:37 Please, my hands aren't that long!
    2:40 Left hand? Now you? I thought we were friends...
    2:44 That's it, right hand. That is nearly impossible. Ya think I can play that? NO!
    3:23 The intro plays for the third time, and now it's FASTER!
    3:32 Finally... it's over...
    3:39 Right hand: NOPE!
    4:01 Seriously, right hand? SERIOUSLY?!
    4:09 Right hand, you want me to play the fast notes, and the chords, AT THE SAME TIME?
    4:16 Please. JUST PLEASE.
    4:23 What? Why so happy? Happy over right hand being a jerk?
    4:32 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO THIS IS WHAT MADE YOU HAPPY
    4:51 Right hand, just leave me alone! I've got other stuff to play, like Twinkle little star or Hungarian rhapsody no. 1.
    5:03 *kills off right hand*
    5:14 Wut?
    5:36 Is this even classical music! It sounds like nonsense to me.
    5:43 So this is what happens if right hand and his impossible notes got a baby.
    5:49 whyyyy
    6:07 Right hand, what are you doing? Not what you're playing, that looks kinda possible. Why are you behind left hand?
    6:13 If you want to be behind left hand, then stay there. I just got used to it!
    6:34 Still nonsense.
    6:46 Are you repeating everything?
    6:57 This looks bad!
    6:59 *presses arm on piano, trying to imitate right hand's notes*
    7:02 *presses arm on piano, trying to imitate right hand's notes*
    7:05 *presses arm on piano, trying to imitate right hand's notes***7:08** *presses arm on piano, trying to imitate right hand's notes*
    7:09 And they return... the impossible notes...
    7:20 Of course right hand doesn't care about left hand stopping. That's him alright.
    7:22 Sad tones?
    7:31 Is it over? I guess. Yay!
    7:33 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
    7:46 Phew... wait, what's happening?
    7:51 It's over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'D

    @troywestleybailey 8 лет назад +7

    i personally find this to be the best version of the song i have ever heard because when pianists play these pieces they always cast their own feelings onto the song or use parts to specifically showcase their specific strong points. this being played by a machine strips all of it away and lets us hear what the original composer heard in their head as they wrote it. or as close as can be.

    • @Kernel15
      @Kernel15 8 лет назад +2

      +troywestleybailey Except this one has timing problems in some areas and seems to be full of many note errors...
      Also, while I get your point, composers themselves project their own emotions on the piece when they write it - i.e. they have emotions in mind when they do so, and even when they perform their own pieces. So while it does strip feelings/emotions away, the result is essentially never what the original composer hears in their head when they write it.

    This song is marked #7 hardest songs ever, but if you watch the rest of the other 7, they're unreal made mixed up songs that you have to be an octopus to play them. I mean this song is an actual composed song that only few people can play this. Ladies and Gentleman, this is the most difficult piano pieces one of all.

      Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 doesn't come anywhere close to hardest playable piano pieces ever composed.
      Liszt has several pieces much harder than Hungarian Rhapsody no. 2 (but still playable) Take for example Liszt-Paganini etudes 4&6 they will blow you're mind.
      Even Chopin's ballade 4 can be considered of a similar difficulty, and I have tried both pieces myself.

      This ranks quite high. Among the standard rep, say from the 18th through early 20th century, I'd probably place Scarbo (Ravel) as the trickiest to pull off live. It's less pianistic somehow than anything of Liszt or Rachmaninoff.

    I actually taught myself to play the first half of this, (up until 3:36) from the original piano music. I then played it in a school concert. It wasn't a perfect performance obviously, but it was pretty good, and that is what you expect from a 12 year old.
    It's a great piece, and if you are good with chords it is easily possible to teach yourself. :D

      You THINK he can play it... even this person did it the best they could. Its in your imaginations. But this person knew that. Try to do it the exact way the original artist did it---then you''ll see how hard it really is. It screws with your mind. Really one of those songs that seem easier than it really is.Much like in a video game how some bosses seem easier than what they really are. I'd say you probably only grasped partially what this song is.

      Obvious why in our today's world, why even our greatest human piano player isn't considered even as good as this person..... I wonder is this Bach? Or Beethoven? But even today, nobody who plays piano is considered as great as they were;. It'd be like comparing Michal Jackson to Lady GaGa--its dumb. Even Lady GaGa can do an impression of his Pop Music---it don't mean that much.

    I love watching this, they are so cool!! I am a pianist I , I love this piece because is it definitely one of Liszt's most popular pieces ever written, and I just love that technology can let us "hear" music in this new way (aka see it as a light show; I know that's been around for a while). I just really think it's cool that you can literally type in any piece, and voila, you get the result: a unique outlook on a very old piece of art in a completely different sense: sight, along with the sound as well. I love Liszt and I can't play this piece (does not mean I couldn't; I just don't know it right now) and I think it's a great way of entertaining people since that what music is all about: enjoyment. Kinda out there comment, more of just like food for thought, but yeah, awesome program, Synthesia.

    • @philomath369
      @philomath369 10 лет назад +1

    • @maximecloutier1223
      @maximecloutier1223 10 лет назад +2

      This is far away from the max level someone can achieve, the thing with liszt is it's uncomfortable to play, but not actually difficult, you just have to get used to it. There are tons of harder songs, even in the liszt repertory.

    • @maximecloutier1223
      @maximecloutier1223 10 лет назад

      There are a bunch of harder piece, even the Nutcracker suit is harder imo ._.
      or Rondo fantastique El contrabandista
      or Islamay - An Oriental Fantasy by Balakierve
      or Gaspard de la nuit by Maurice Ravel
      or Petrushka Transcription by Stravinsky
      or many others.
      Ofc Liszt pieces are fast, but the speed doesn't make it harder, it just takes more time to practice it, you begin slowly than accelerate, a lil bit of patience and perseverence and you get there in no time.

    Mkay, so am I the only one who didnt think of Tom and Jerry, but instead thought of Loony Tunes and that one episode with Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck? Because I looked and everyone was like "OMG TOM AND JERRY" but I have never heard this song on Tom and Jerry. Am I seriously the only one. Ok someone hold my Mountain Dew and let me go on a rant here. Also hold my mug cake to please and thx. Ok get ready to read my rant. And I'm pretty sure that this will start with Loony Tunes and Tom and Jerry and also Hungarian Rapsody, and end with something COMPLETELY different. Ok, so as a kid I watched Tom and Jerry and Loony Tunes A LOT it was basicly all i watched on TV. And no joke I have never seen Hungarian Rhapsody on Tom and Jerry, ok lets just call it TJ for short. But for Loony Tunes, no joke the episode with this song came on ALL THE TIME. And I liked it because Bugs and Donald were fighting about who knows what, for who knows why. Going on this rant brings back old childhood memories. Some I dont want to remember because they are sad. Like the last time I ever saw my step dad. He was drunk. Well my mother and step father were drinking wine. They both only had one glass but, my mother didnt want hers so my dad, not wanting to waste it, drank it himself. Is it drank or drunk? I dont know. BUt a shart while after that it was bed time for me and bla bla bla. But the next day he was sick and I know what your thinking, "OMG HE DIED BECAUSE OF WINE! I AM NEVER DRINKING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Well your COMPLETELY wrong. he killed himself, and he had been trying to kill himself for a long time, best thing is I DIDNT FIND OUT UNTIL THREE DAYS AFTER HE DID IT! WHY WOULDNT ANYONE TELL M RIGHT AWAY!? AND WHY WOULD HE KILL HIMSELF I STILL DONT UNDERSTAND! I HAD TO GET SENT TO ANOTHER FREAKING FAMILY FOR LIKE A WEEK BECAUSE OF THAT! I MEAN ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Ok sorry I got carried away. I knew I would make a super long rant...

      +KittahKittahMewMew I wasn't thinking of Loony Toons or Tom and Jerry either. I was thinking of a peaceful morning in the middle of a town. At least at first... Usual hustle and bustle, and then BAM! There's a riot! And everyone is fighting over everything, chaos ensues and everything is going haywire. Then things calm down as people come to their senses, for a bit... then they go back into that same haywire mob again, until the police come...
      Second time I listened to it I imagined a dreary communist country, until people start rioting, and eventually the government is overthrown.
