Great place and great video! I have been to samui many time ^^ but next month I will hit Cha am, and good places/redtaurants you think I should give a try?
Look out for the Golden Beach hotel about half way down main road - because nice Swedish restaurant to the left front road side - Right side there is a hotel which always does Great food.
Check out my Cha Am film as I eat at that hotel with the cats! If you want quiet go away from the hotel - turn right if hotel behind you and very quiet.
Great for swimming early morning or maybe 4 pm and plants of places to shower 20 Baht mixed in with shops.
Hire a bike for 1 hr and cycle down the long pier - just ask directions easy.
If you want beer and girls get a taxi motorcycle to the Bus station which is a laugh.

Great vlog mate just one concern your so worried about the driving standards of other drivers but you still concentrate more on your camera than the road. Just a thought mate don’t want to see ya get into a bump. Take care and carry on the good work 👍

If i was asked where is the worst place in thailand i would have to say koh samui far to many pissed up farrangs and carpet carrier's but i like your video's jim keep them coming
Yes Mark I know where you are coming from but I did find it much better once I left the madness of Chaweng!
I think commercialization has ruined a lot of these places but I guess money talks?
