I did it yesterday! I'm so proud of myself! I had a 25' roll of RV water hose, used that and a 12' section of braided water line hose. Thank you for this vid!! The most expensive thing was the adapter & the hose splitter. Total was like 20 bucks!
I’ve been searching forever for a solution! Thank you so much. I even found a plastic quick connect to 1/4 that fit on my spigot. Amazingly simple and now my garage fridge has ice and water.
Hey bud, thanks so much for that video! I’ve been trying and trying all different ways and finally I see this video, now I have ice and water in my shop.

Would you need any valve to regulate the water pressure?
Thanks. The only problem we have it to gauge the water supply pressure.

We have hose water line outside. So will this need have something to control water pressure. I don't want to damage the fridge ice maker.
Ferrule and Insert are not fitting well and after tightening the bolt, pipe is coming out. I tried plastic pipe as well as copper pipe. Please advise.
thanks for the video it really helped
No filter?
You can buy an inline water filter, such as this one:
