i was able to get this done myself! saved $250.. (that was quoted to me by a local plumber).
The very reason my ice maker has not been hooked up for several years now is that to say I'd have to pretzel myself would be the understatement of the millennium! I'm not to flexible at 51. I wasn't that great in my 20's. Man! I need that 'body loosening oil'!

Very simple but amazing video
Only criticism... use a second pair of pliers to hold the plumbing you are connecting to in order to avoid potential damage to existing plumbing. Especially if you are invoking the strength of Thor or the Hulk. I know, I know... Not easy to do when twisted like a pretzel and the base of the cabinet separating your ribs. I also recommend laying down a blanket, pillow, cardboard, anything to take the edge off of the bottom of the cabinet! Wishing you continued success!

I'm trying to figure out how to run water to my fridge and came across this video. I almost clicked out 10 seconds in because of the obnoxious voice, but I'm glad I didn't. It was so obnoxious it was actually funny, and since I'm a dad that loves lame dad jokes to annoy my teenage daughters I know something about being obnoxious to the point of being funny.
