- Today on Chivalry 2 I challenged myself to play with NON Meta weapons. And in doing so I found myself having even more fun than normal. The game is so addictive and I love it, I can't stop jumping on and having a good time.

As a chiv vet with thousands of hours the spear is definitely Meta. In competitive play there is a limit of 2 spears per team bc of how good they are

The Spear used by Guardians and Man at Arms is different than the Javelins thrown by Skirmishers. They are meant for pure melee and are very deadly 1vs1 or in a team fight.
i have some days, i am doing really good, and i think, i got it down now, i know how to play. then i come back the next day and i am complete and utter shit as usual....i guess you need to be in the flow or something.
Flow state is a thing, I’m in the same boat
But when I’m on, I jump into crowds of them dodge duck dip dive and dodging, best feeling I’ve ever had playing any game
I play Vanguard Ambusher. I use short sword and cudgel. I always have fun using this class.
What a twist that the spear is not the two handed or the one handed spear but it's the javelin
This game is just stupid fun times. I haven’t enjoyed this madness in quite awhile. Feel like I need to jump in again.

Ohh yea, I loved the og. When the second dropped. I just couldn't get as into it. I love watching those 10-20 guys battling along a line. With that one spear thrower in the back
Of course the first match I hopped on this game after seeing this video, the very first enemy I encountered just started chucking spears at me 😂😂😂 I’m sure there were a ton of us that had no idea this was a thing lol myself included
It's because you have to level up archers to the max, and the archer queue is usually full...so you can't level them up to the max 😢

nice gameplay the only fun thing you didnt use while throwing the spear is holding down the middle mouse button after throwing it,, do it and youll see the magic

No, it's really not. It's still buggy as hell (every game catapults still get bugged), it's plagued by subtle cheaters (yes yes accelerating and whatnot, knights running faster than vanguards from the spawn is surely because they know how to accelerate and mfkers floating faster with their third hit after second hit that has been blocked than a first hit one handed weapon swing is also because they accelerate). People still blocking attack that comes from the back, spinning 720 almost parrying and hitting 5 people through the block. Game turns either into a right left click simulator until someone gets ganked. The worst hitboxes ever, clunky animations like messer overhead that seems to stand in a place even without dragging or warhammer crouch stare into the ground overhead that can stunlock you. Extremely toxic and gatekeeping community. It's just a shitshow of a game unless you're playing it drunk or high or something or maybe like once a week. Oh and teamkillers never get kicked out so you can get griefed whole game by some loser and there will be no repercussions for them.
