i dont mean to be off topic but does any of you know a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the account password. I love any tips you can give me!
Hi Jeanette, im so glad found you, your the closest to my hair length and texture, i have flat twist my own natural hair my entire life, i appreciate you, 🙏
This came in clutch... I JUST colored and deep conditioned my hair and I want to do a flat twist and curl. I know how to flat twist but I’m SO bad with parting! I’m determined to know how to part neatly so my poor kids don’t have busted up hair
I've been practicing flat twists. results are still hit-or-miss, but im getting better. this was a great video - enjoyed the demo and explanations. 😊👍🏼😊 thanks for sharing. stay safe.
Is it just me or do anyone else like the video 📹 before watching lol 😆 also when are you going to show us a more videos of you organizing? I just love the way you decorate.
I just washed my hair and needed something to put it in perfect timing I love you're protective styles I've done a few of the braided ones already 💕💕💕💕
Thank you so so much!!! The best tutorial I’ve seen on this! It’s just what I needed, because I’m great at two strand twisting, but just needed that extra help with figuring out flat twists, which is great for protective styles and so important for prep for crochet braids . Peace & 💗
Happy Sunday Jeanette!!! I am happy you did this video. I am trying to learn how to flat twist my hair. Today is my wash day and I am going to try and do to flat twist. Your flat twist is everything.
I know I’m late to this video but you explained this very very well. I been natural for years and I did flat twist but always came out okay but not great . So thanks for the worded and visual detailing girlie 💕💕💕
good explanation. I love doing flat twists. I get clean twist by making sure I add hair to the same section and making sure not to share hair as I go down.
I've always enjoyed and loved your videos over the years I've been natural. You explained and take time giving great advice. Practice make perfect, because I was able to do the front but the back I need more work.
The explanation was fine. I still didn't learn because no one ever explains the "grab more hair" part. I can twist but how do you add without causing tangles as you go down?
Does twisting only work on kinky hair? I have 3b/3c hair with medium density and thickness and my hair doesn’t hold together like rope all the way down the twist when I try it
JeanetteJBeauty I realy loved how you explained this video. Even though I know how to flat twist, this video is very calming. Oh, your hair is beautiful BTW!!!! I LOVE NATRUAL HAIR ♥♥♥
But how do you keep it from unraveling? Like the part where you can see the separation between where you added the hair and before you stop. Mine always look loose
Good question, and you may have learned your answer by now, but I’ll share my two cents in case you or anyone else is still wondering. I’d say for me, I add hair to the same hand each time, so it doesn’t exactly matter if it’s A or B. My right hand will always “give” my left hand a little more hair, if that makes sense. In that way, both A and B eventually end up with a reasonably even amount of hair added. ☺️
I'm new to your channel and I really liked the way you showed how to flat twist the hair. Are there and products you can recommend for my hair.My hair is nowhere near as beautiful and thick and long as yours or thick and it's grey and at times hard to tame. Lol
I tried using kaolin clay which is white. My wash and goes was a mess. I warmed aloe Vera juice, added eucalyptus oil, or an oil for scalp, about 1/2 cup clay. Let sit on hair for 1 hr. Hair baby soft. Use a deep conditioner for 20 min. Wash and go came out beautiful. Im using more products with little or no "cones". This gray hair has a learning curve to it. I will try it on my twists next. The clay will remove any buildup on strands. I got the clay from Amazon. Hope this helps.
At 4:20 it looks like JeanetteJ is throwing up her natural hair gang signs or having communication with extraterrestrial intelligence😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 Girl you rock!!!
You are very detailed. I needed some reinforcement on doing a flat twist so that I could do it with designs and this help just confirm what I've been doing and the tips also helped so that I can have a smooth finish and longevity in the style. If you're not already an instructor you should be.
Strong Faith idk, but my box braider can braid, but can’t do styles Marley twists I thought that was odd 🤷🏽♀️ ........I cant corn row or flat twist so I can’t talk
Can y’all say a prayer for me asking that I can one day part my hair like she does 😍

Wow you are better than when I was trained in Cometology school thanks I think I've nailed it this time

Where did you purchase the white comb?

I finally got it right after watching this.😭😭 God bless u
Simple and straight forward thank you .
JeanetteJBeauty I realy loved how you explained this video. Even though I know how to flat twist, this video is very calming. Oh, your hair is beautiful BTW!!!! I LOVE NATRUAL HAIR ♥♥♥
Awesome tutorial! 💜💜I struggle flat twisting the back but I am getting better.
But how do you keep it from unraveling? Like the part where you can see the separation between where you added the hair and before you stop. Mine always look loose
I like that you’re a natural with long hair who uses oil. I’ve notice a few who suggest oil will stunt hair growth.
I think oil is better for your ends , vs your scalp
When adding the hair when flat twisting, are you adding the hair to A or B as you flat twist down?
Good question, and you may have learned your answer by now, but I’ll share my two cents in case you or anyone else is still wondering. I’d say for me, I add hair to the same hand each time, so it doesn’t exactly matter if it’s A or B. My right hand will always “give” my left hand a little more hair, if that makes sense.
