    Shannan's best friend , Nicole Atkinson is the reason he was caught so quickly. The neighbor (Nate) camera was helpful but if not for Nicole going by her gut feeling ,calling the cops so fast, CW may have gotten away w/ it.

    • @tomrawson
      @tomrawson 4 года назад +6

      Agreed the Nicole looking for Shanann was key to quick resolution of the case, but I think even without Nicole checking up on Shanann that day, neighbor Nate's camera would have been a key factor once the investigation began. At some point Shanann and girls would be reported missing. At that point investigators would start asking about available videos, etc.

    • @EllyB1104
      @EllyB1104 4 года назад +3

      @@tomrawson Yes I agree. I'm wondering how he thought he would get away with just putting his wife in a shallow grave. He also had the bed sheet there didn't he? He must have realised that at some point she would be found and then it would be obvious it was him. Or do you think that he intended to go back and cover his tracks?

    • @tomrawson

      @@EllyB1104 So many possibilities, but one thing for sure is he didn't think it through very far. People hoping to off spouses by making them disappear are not very smart. Very few get away with it. Craig Stebic is still free, but he's the only one I can think of. Scott Peterson, Drew Peterson, Chris Watts, and most of the rest are lifers at the Graybar Hotel.

      @@tomrawson Drew Peterson got away with Stacy Peterson's murder/disappearance. He got caught when his previous wife's dead body was exhumed and re-examined. He's in prison for his 2nd wife's murder, NOT Stacy's - the 3rd wife.

    • @tomrawson
      @tomrawson 4 года назад +1

      @@fortheloveofgod7258 Not sure the point of your comment. I know why Drew Peterson is in prison. Drew Peterson's arrest and conviction for the murder of Kathleen Savio (his 3rd wife--there were two before her who miraculously survived the ordeal), proves the point of my previous comment. Kathleen Savio's death was originally ruled an accident. 4th wife's (Stacy) disappearance caused investigators to take a second look at Kathleen Savio's death and decide it was not an accident, but a homicide.

    I'm very impressed with your Google Earth skills, lol. I've tried to pinpoint the battery site on a few tries, but there are so many of them all throughout CO that I just couldn't track them down precisely. Very nice video. I have a couple of comments, as follows: The autopsy found no broken bones on either child, though this misconception has been widely reported.. Also, despite his second confession, there's no corroborating evidence that I've been able to find that he killed them at the worksite rather than at home, which makes more practical sense imo. His story doesn't explain why the police dogs alerted several areas in the basement and Bella's room or why the basement room door triggered the security sensors while CW was loading the truck, or why it took him an hour to load the truck after pulling into the driveway. As well, there's the common sense view that who would pile their kids on top of their dead mother with no car seats and a gas can on his way to a petrol storage facility an hour away in daylight? Who would bring two live kids to kill them at a worksite where coworkers are expected to be showing up shortly? There are other plausibility problems with his latest (3rd) confesion too that could be explained in more detail. Again, thanks for the additional info.

    People don’t like hearing this, but his actions were narcissistic and psychopathic; however he is not diagnostically anyone of those things. He’s also not sociopathic in the slightest. In the context of murder, that activity is a byproduct of sociopathic, psychopathic, narcissistic and any number of psychological traits. The problem is that the constructs of psychopathy and sociopathy are long-standing and chronic. Sociopaths are marked by emotional instability, moodiness, novelty-seeking, and other overtly dysfunctional behaviors. Chris Watts was reportedly a good student in school, reliable at work and had been with Shannan for about 7 years. That’s the antithesis of sociopathy or antisocial personality. Factor 1 psychopathy would be the closet in outward appearance to Chris Watts, but they are usually not that reliable at work or school. They also don’t have positive relationships for very long. They manipulate and use people. Shannan’s own words were that Chris used to be sweet and loving. Only when the affair started did he become secretive, deceptive, and cold. One could argue that he had vulnerable narcissism or characteristics along those lines, but one could never truly know that. Vulnerable (covert) narcissism is often typified by emotional dysfunction as well, so that’s a consideration to keep in mind. Sometimes people commit crimes, and despite how taboo they are, the perpetrator is not mentally defective. It’s not an excuse it’s just the way it is. I would recommend Dr Todd Grande’s RUclips channel for a closer look into the overall description of mental health topics. I don’t always agree with him on each point as a mental health worker myself, but he is accurate on reporting academics.

We should never forget what you said at the beginning about psychopathic killers.......they either have not been caught yet or have yet to kill someone. Vigilance is the citizens most powerful weapon against such evil. Never be afraid to inquire of your neighbor if there is anything you can do for them.......watch their property, watch for unfamiliar faces or activity and watch for unfamiliar behaviors. They saw him wrapping Shannan up and he decided to just take them with him rather go through it again right then and there. Then finished the job at the oil site. Poor girls being driven all the way out there to unfamiliar territory, with their dead mother at their feet. They must have been so confused and scared. And Shannan had apparantly 'given birth' before he buried her. Fucking monster, how could he do this..

Hoffa leaves his house and has a lunch appointment at the Machus Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, but he's never seen after that. There's a lot of conjecture on the exact home he was killed in but it's in Detroit. They shot him and wrapped him up in a rug and either disposed of the body in cement shoes at the bottom of the Detroit River, or cremated his body at Grandlawn Cemetery in Detroit, or as is widely thought he became part of NY Giants Stadium, among other theories and rumors.

As a father it has always been my number one job to take care of my wife and kids and keep them safe. It goes against everything we all believe in. Another aspect that brings this even closer to home and has gripped the nation is that Shannan recorded hours of videos documenting every aspect of their lives. I appreciate the work you did on this video, but you have a lot of misinformation on here. He didn't smother them with the blanket as there were no fibres found in their airways. He confessed he placed the blanket over their head before placing one hand around their neck holding their head against the seat and the other hand over their mouth and smothered them. The autopsy report didn't report broken bones. Bella had damage inside her mouth likely from struggling while her father smothered her. There's never been any mention of him "elbowing" her. This crime is already horrific enough!

    Good video! I had already managed to locate this site on Google Earth before I'd heard the prison confession video. In the confession video, I thought that Watts indicated that he smothered Ce Ce while Bella was sitting right next to her. Agent Coder asked him if he was right beside Bella and I thought he had said yes. I could not grasp the callous nature of this entire confession! Then Bella asked if the same thing was going to happen to her. However, this video states another opinion about exactly where he murdered Ce Ce. I am confused now. This entire case is so difficult to comprehend!

    Bella did not say "are you gonna do to me what you did to cece". She asked " Is the same going to happen to me as Cece?". He did not break any bones putting Cece in the tank not to Bella.
    Where are you getting this bullshit ? There was nothing in the autopsy report about blunt-force trauma to the left side of Bellas jaw. He did not punch her to knock her out.
    Read the pages, read the autopsy report and watch and listen to the interviews before commenting on a video giving the wrong information.
    He told Troy on Sunday night he would go to the site on Monday morning. He told the worker who found the leak on Sunday he was heading out there on Monday so there was no need for two of them to be there. This was premeditated before the weekend.

    I read all the case files that were released online after he plead guilty and never saw (or heard) anyone say anything about Bella’s jaw being damaged in any way. Where did you get that information? Just curious. BTW, my husband loves your videos.

    I don't think Chris's case is worse than Peterson's. Laci was decapitated, had missing limbs, cracked ribs, torso emptied. Scott and Chris should be cell mates on death row. Both are horrific.

    There is a video on RUclips that shows him the day of the murder. The neighbor who was a friend of the wife had gone to the door for some reason and became suspicious. She then called police who came to the residence where they called the husband to come home. They show him in video talking to police. The person who posted the video was explaining how this creep was lying. His body language and mannerisms reeked of guilt. A neighbor who had the camera claimed that what was on video was totally out of character for this murderer. He kept fidgeting and messing with his cell phone. The poster claims that he was probably texting his girlfriend while at the house that morning. I had heard about him putting the bodies in these big tanks. I didn't realize that he literally had to break bones and stuff there little bodies in the opening. I can only hope that for the rest of his miserable life he is haunted by his daughters last moments. Of course he could care less so maybe he will get special inmate treatment in jail. Hope he suffers greatly. I have four kids and I would die for each and every one of them if I had to. Kids are such a gift and I for one am greatfull to have been blessed with mine.
