- Why is such a beautiful song at the end of an incredibly violent, otherwise heavy metal music filled FPS? It certainly leaves an impact and it's a song I still listen to almost a decade later, and one I've always thought if I ever made music again I'd love to cover/arrange.
Coming back to music in 2022 and even working with vocals earlier in the year made me decide to scratch that itch for Dwelling Of Duels' December 2022 Free Month.
I felt a more built up and almost jazzy touch was worth trying and this is the result 😊
This couldn't have happened without Dawnaria whose lovely voice you're enjoying; I didn't write a note before getting her thumbs up to do it 🥰

@@rophmusic yeah, that must be the reason lol I was a small child when I played this (maybe not really appropriate lol but still) I don't think I finished it. I have really vague memories of playing it/watching my uncle play it

Ooooh I never play this game before, but I just know it's quite a.. violent game. Did not expect at all such a beautiful calming OST 😂 A pleasant surprise, I enjoyed this a lot!
Heh it's the only track in the game like this, kind of an emotionally poignant coming down after an hours long assult on your senses 😊

I enjoyed this music and I guess they had to put such a nice track after all of the violence and heavy metal as sort of a sunshine after the bullet storm type of thing? Not sure, but that is my guess. 😁 I loved the soft Jazzy brush kit usage here and the music is really awesome sounding from start to finish. You're a real pro with your covers and cool ideas. Up until the final few days the drums were different and just synthesized, Diane Galen (see the link in the description) swooped in with lovely smooth subduded real percussion 🥰
Earlier still, the whole song was in a different key, the same as the original 👀but rewriting it in this higher key suited Dawnaria's voice better 😊
