    I'm new at coin hunting. Spend most of my day studying channels like yours. Out of the hundreds of videos I've watched and studied " including yours, this by far was the most detailed and helpful I've seen. I learned more in this short video than I would have spending hours in the red book or error book. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.

I do know it's in red with some brown patches but the coin is in excellent ship my 1955 is in good shape and brown all the way and I have many more and I really enjoy but would love to sell some. I also have some of the 1960s and some w/printing errors a 1982 that's amazing errors. I've got some really nice coins including dimes,buckles,and quarters but pennies are my faves. Love your show

    These I’m going through but they are a little bit harder for me because I thought that some of them were just like squashed numbers etc over time And certainly not doubled. Now I have my work cut out for me as I have piles and piles of coins and it’s overwhelming me I put them in piles but they own merged somehow and I have to do it again, ugh, the pain of it! Thank you for the websites to really view along with me so that I don’t feel so overwhelmed and lost, I couldn’t find them on my own, and I tried and I kept winding up in the wrong places I’ll let you know how it goes....thank you Daniel

    The only reason I have any of these older pennies is because of a coin dealer in Paul’s Valley Oklahoma. What a sweetheart of a man. He gave me, yes gave me an old coin collectors book starting with 1919. All the mints are there and at the time I really didn’t understand what he gave me. We did visit for a long while and I did buy some buffalo nickels from him but I just wanted to share my story of the kindness of strangers is still alive ... I hope he is still doing business right there off the exit. I if anyone is passing through stop in and say hello for me. 😃 And if you’re headed south be sure to pull off at Davis and get ya a fried pie. Yum 😋

    Hi Daniel, I was going threw my Indian cents and came across a couple that I need some info about them one is a 1887 that is half the thickness and it's 1.36 g both obverse & reverse designs are all there but not clear and the reverse has lines that kinda looks like corduroy pants but printed in the design, I had the coin for about 25 years and never noticed it before.Have you seen or heard about a coin like that and any idea about the value on a coin like this

    I have a 1920 penny in excellent condition that's just been sitting around for a while. It doesn't have a mint mark or whatever the terminology is. Idek what to do with it or get it graded or etc. And suggestions would help.

    • @CoinHELPu
      @CoinHELPu  5 лет назад

      Unless it's uncirculated then it's not worth having graded and even then it's a common date and just a coin to fill a hole in a collection.

      A black penny is environmental damage and there's no error for a black penny. You want to look for doubled dies and such, that is where the value is going to be. An off metal would be on a silver planchet or steel planchet, something like that.
