All of these characters have a lot to their kits so I decided to go over the newly revealed Robin and Boothill Kit to help you decide which character is likely the best option for you to pull, and what our rerun options offer! Robin is a physical harmony character who focuses on providing team-wide buffs to the team and also advancing forward allies similar to Bronya and Sparkle. Boothill is a physical hunt character who is a hybrid DPS and focuses on breaking enemies as well as implanting physical weakness onto an enemy. Boothill and Robin's kits will play a huge part in how they can potentially change the meta.
In today's video, Moon breaks down what you need to know before pulling Robin, Boothill, Topaz, and Fu Xuan. Some notable characters mentioned are Firefly and Jade. This is Moon's recommendation for who to pull in Version 2.2 of Honkai Star Rail.

Yeah tell me about it these next banners are gonna be rough. Robin looks great and I failed the 50/50 on Topaz and Fu Xuan first time around so I'm struggling right now.

Is robin really make fup damage a higher value? I already have E0S1 or Topas and dr. ratio, E0S0 Aventurine… but the dmaage from them just meh to me (im using ruan mei as support) i rather use danheng il team or archon team…. But damn robin ult song just so catchy😢 i even listening to her song on spotify 😭😭😭😭 dont know what to do now shouldmi really pick robin already have bronya, ruan mei, sparkle as harmony🥹
As someone who already has topaz and ratio, Robin would be a good choice for me because she has the ability to buff the FUA team very good , and especially she sings very well 🎶

I really like this style of video, it feels well thought out without an overload of numbers and such. I have Luo and Aventurine, but I still want to pull Fu Xuan. I may go for Robin as well for a Dr Ratio follow up team, but still deciding.

My second feels lacking though I have huo huo, sparkle, sw, and I try Seele or qq for a sort of mono quantum. I think a proper dps to pair with sparkle might do it what you think?

As for the first game console I played on, it's the Atari 2600 and Pitfall is the game I always play on it. Yes, I'm old... LOL
My 1st console was PS2 (not slim) and my dad bought it with just 1 game which was a Ghost Hunter (2003). As a kid I was so afraid to even play it haha but I've managed to finish it throughout the months of struggle. It's still one of my favourite games, but sadly not so many ppl ever heard about it even. It's our family gem, full of good memories.

Hey Great video, my first console was NES and the game was Dragon Warrior...Question for ya, will Topaz be enough along with Aventurine to cover Ratio's debuffs he needs to work? i dont have Aventurines LC or raito's ...as well i think if Jade is a follow up character and she has consistant follow ups in her kit i think she could easily replace Ratio .... thoughts?
This banner is so tough! I've wanted to pick up Topaz for ages (not to mention her LC would be great to swap onto Ratio as needed), but Boothill seems wild. But with Firefly coming, maybe I should just wait for her as a fire DPS. Though if Sunday gets drip marketed before her banner, I will probably skip her regardless... This is the first time I've been this conflicted on who to pull!
I honestly want to pull for both Topaz and Robin, but I don't have enough stellar jades, so I'm just going to settle for only Robin.

Hi, Fu Xuan enjoyer here. You won't regret having her. She's been my favorite unit ever since i get her. The amount of comfort and boost she brought to my account has been immense.
@@yun115242that shield is still god tier though as a aventurine haver he's super comfy like a zhongli and the fact his follow up attacks gives shield to the whole party is a plus.

I really hope I'm gonna be able to get both Robin and Topaz. I only need 40 more pulls for a guaranteed 5-star and I'm a relatively new player (TB55) with a couple of side quest and events left to complete.
I got topaz back on her original run and as a surprise tbh. I am a huge fan of robins design so I’m def pulling for her.
I'm really stuck between pulling Robin and/or Topaz. On one hand I'd like to get Robin, because I have 2 Harmony units that being Bronya and Ruan Mei. On the other hand I only have 1 Fire Dps that being Himeko, and a handful of FUA units like Aventurine, Clara, & Dr. Ratio. Which having Topaz would be nice to run w/ them, but the same could be said about Robin lol I guess I could "try" and get both haha imagine
I have so many jade now i might be able to pick up both robin and fuxuan! Who i’ve been waiting for for forever! I’m just sad i probably can’t get both their lightcones till a rerun 😢

I have fu xuans LC and it isn't a must have as u think. More of a quality of life LC for auto farming and going from battle to battle w the health regen. There is already a lot of good LC alternatives. Hit at least 8k hp 1.2k def and u have the best sustain in the game w the free crit rate. TLDR; don't fall for fomo on the LC

Topaz as a stand alone unit is mid and will be power crept anyway. Go Firefly. She'll be the much better fire dps imo.

I’m probably going to go with Robin for Aventurine/Dr. Ratio team to give Bronya a break (and bc I’m at like 70 pity) and then start saving like crazy for Firefly and pray there’s time to get extra wishes for when Huohuo returns since she’ll like work great with Firefly
My first comsole i played on would be the Nintendo DS, but it was really the Xbox. The first gane I played was DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) i believe. There was a mat we always put out on the ground in order to play the game.

Who I will pull for in the banners will probably be Boothill, saving for his LC too. I would pull for Robin too, but i already have good enough sustains so i want another dps

I tend to have a lot of trouble clearing MoC and PF, mostly due to cycle limits. I also don't have Ruan Mei or Bronya. Would investing in picking up Robin, broadly speaking, help with this?
I know a lot of of the common team comps for those use Ruan Mei especially, so I wasn't sure if she would be a good replacement.

Right now since I got Acheron E2S1 and DHIL E0S1 I think I'll invest in Fu Xuan bcs if I'm lucky I can get Luka eidolons and that 372% bleed will come in handy with the new single target endgame mode. Plus the crit rate for Acheron can free up space for more crit damage ❤
should i go for fu xuan even if i have aventurine? ik one is shield other heal but both are sustains. so idk if i should go for firefly or robin, since my team rn is not too great with ratio, aventurine, serval and pela

I haven’t been playing long so the only 5 stars I have are jingliu, dr ratio and aventurine. Would it be smarter to pull for topaz to make a follow-up team, or something to better support jingliu like fu xuan/ another future re-run? I don’t have anyone currently for jingliu that works super well I’m just running asta and lynx for support

I’m still on the fence when it comes to Fu Xuan. I have E2S1 Aventurine, and E0S1 Luocha. I’m interested in mono quantum, but I don’t have SW and I don’t want Seele. I guess I’ll pull her later on if a good quantum DPS ever comes out.
thanks for the vid! wondering your opinion on who i should pull--currently my teams are acheron (e2s1), pela (e6), bronya (e0), luocha (e0) // jing yuan (e0), sparkle (e0), aventurine (e0), clara (e0s1). i'm currently building jingliu and guinaifen so i can run sparkle and aventurine with acheron and move pela, bronya, and luocha to jingliu's team. i also have himeko, welt, yanqing, and ratio. i’ve built jy (8/8/8) and acheron (maxed) mainly, my clara, jingliu, and ratio are all at 6/6/6. and i have every 4 star character except tingyun, including e6 pela, herta, sampo, luka, gallagher, serval, and qingque, and an e4 hanya.
i was thinking about saving for ruan mei>fu xuan>tingyun, but it seems like robin is a decent replacement for rm and tingyun and would also work to spread the love to ratio/clara/aventurine--would love your thoughts.

is it better to pick up a copy or robin or a copy of topaz? i have e0s1 topaz with ratio, ruan mei (kafka-bs are always fighting for her too though lol), and aventurine. i heard topaz e1 is really good for ratio but im not sure if it's better than robin

This update for HSR has been the hardest for me to choose.... I do have Ruan Mei and Bronya for harmony supps. I did pull Aventurine to have another sustain aside from HuoHuo and to finish up my FUA team comp. Idk if I should pull for Robin or Boothill. The next update is no question since I'm collecting all the Stellaron Hunters. I lack any Phy DPS (aside from Luka) since I do not like Argenti's kit anyways.

Currently have Sparkle, Jing Yuan, Bronya, Welt, Dr. Ratio, Aventurine, Jingliu, and Luocha. I’ve got a guarantee bc Aventurine was a double with him and Bronya. I was thinking of picking up Topaz to complete the Dr. Ratio team, but I’m a bit torn on whether to do that or save it. I believe Ruan Mei and Huohuo are the ones left needed for Jingliu and Jing Yuan’s teams. While Aventurine and Dr. Ratio could probably use Topaz and Robin? Fu Xuan is a great sustain tho but also have Aventurine so probably should just stick with him for now…
I’m also super tempted to just skip 2.2 banners and save the guarantee for Firefly just bc she’s probably going to be pretty insane and I could use the element coverage. But also worried that Firefly is going to synergize best with someone I skipped…

First console was the PS1! And the game was gran turismo! I remember this fondly since i didn't want to go to school the day my dad gave it to me, and it got me grounded from playing any video game on weekdays and can only play for 4 hours on the weekends
Definitely going for Robin simply because I need more Harmony characters to diversify my roster, I only have Asta and Tingyun, and since TB will also get Harmony soon, I can get two quickly. The others will simply depend on circumstances.
I got an account I wanna fix up after I haven't played on it for a long time. My characters on there are a semi built Imbibitor Lunae Dan Heng [no signature LC], Sparkle, Gepard, Loucha, Yanqing, and with Natasha, Ting Yun, and Serval being my only other built characters. Excluding Guinaifen and Misha I pretty much got all the four stars and I was wondering if there is any pull value on Jingliu/Aventurine + the next batch of banners [Current saved up tickets are 27 with 4554 Stellar Jade]
Advice? My only five stars are Gepard, Dr. Ratio, and Aventurine so I feel like either Topaz or Robin could help a lot given my team options. Should I choose Robin/Fu Xuan just to have a few more team comp options?

Hi, thanks for the vague. Quick question. I just recently started playing star rail and so far I've only pulled acheron and aventurine. Now I'm thinking of pulling for both Robin and topaz Robin guaranteed. I'm going to try for topaz since I lost my last 50/50. Do you think Robin would be pretty good in an acheron team? Since I don't have any five star Harmony characters, I figured she'd be pretty good, but I wanted your opinion on pulling for a topaz as well

Ok so I'm debating between 4 characters: Robin, Boothill, Firefly and Jade. I have Sparkle, Bronya and Ruan Mei, as physical DPS I have Clara and Sushang, as fire DPS I only have Himeko. Finally I have qingque. All characters I mentioned are fully built and idk who to pull between all the characters 💔
it seems boothill is gonna be one of our first "true hunt" characters, like topaz and ratio have follow-ups, and seele has her resurgence, which make them all potentially multi-target. boothill on the other hand seems strictly single-target, which is cool
My account is fairly new but I have been trying to get good characters. So far my main dps characters I'm building are Himeko, Ratio and Acheron. My friend is teaching me to run Ratio and Himeko together but they are lacking a good buffer or sustain that works with them well. I tried for Aventurine but so far I lost and am guaranteed now for whoever to get. I would like to get Aventurine cause I like his design but I also only have Hanya and Asta as my only Harmony units. So I am tor about pulling Robin my friend said it's up to me cause I do like Aventurine and according to them I could wait and save for Ruan Mei. They have used Ratio and Himeko with Mei and Aventurine and it seems pretty strong. But I also have to take my Acheron team into account cause she mostly is using Gallagher as her sole sustain and Aventurine could help her too.
For me it was the Wii, I don’t remember which was first, Mario Kart or Galaxy, but I have incredibly fond memories of both

Not sure what to do with my account I’m kinda new since I started at the end of 1.6 I got black swan,Kafka,sparkle(E1),Acheron,aventurine as the limited 5 stars.I personally like boothill with his weakness implants and will be going for ruan mei on her rerun because I’m going to need her for my DOT comp anyway but at the same time I could use robin since I got sparkle as my only harmony support and I don’t have 2 preservation either just one rn
hii! I'm very excited to pull for boothill, but my problem is I dont have robin, fu xuan, bronya, or ruan mei! I do have some sub chars that include harmony MC, galla, and aventurine. I am currently in a win win situation:
1. I could pull for robin and have a good support for boothill
2. if I lose the 50/50 I have guranteed for boothill
on top of that, I want boothill AND his lightcone so im not sure. would you mind helping me?
and.. if I do get robin and boothill, should I save for ruan mei after?
To be serious for a moment, one thing that undermines my enthusiasm for Robin is the impending Harmony Trailblazer. I gather from the leaks that Harmony TB has a very different kit from Robin's, but Harmony TB is essentially free. I know it's early, but a comparison of Harmony TB vs Robin, Tingyun and other Harmony characters would be helpful.
Robin seems S tier but the issue is like you said. If you already have the best Harmony units than her value does down massively. I already have Sparkle. A well built one at that. 163 SPD and 220 crit dmg.
Harmony TB is very niche though
Once the enemy weakness is broken, any attack inflicted upon the enemy counts as Super Break Damage until they regain toughness again. So unless you build a lot of BE on your DPS, Harmony MC isn't better than your Bronya, Sparkle, etc.
@@nightowlowo149 you can get around that with most dps units as long as they deal fast dmg and are on Element. Xueyi obviously benefits a great deal from him since he can give over 60% break effect to team team aswell as allowing her to constantly trigger her massive break dmg on every attack.
@@nightowlowo149 Break Effect is genuinely becoming more meta with the more units come out. It's started since Ruan Mei dropped. Now we got Harmony TB, Gallagher, Firefly (who is going to be a BE focused unit) and Boothill. On top of units that can benefits SUPER HARD from being built like breakers in Guinafen and Luka. It's really apparent the direction they wanna go in.

Hi, so i am in a bit of a dilemma right now as to who i should pull for.. I do have E0 Ruan Mei that i run in pretty much all of my comps, however i do have Adventurine, Topaz, Ratio, Jing Yuan etc... So i guess my question would be if i should pull for robin or Fu Xuan? Taking into consideration my only other "sustain" unit aside from Adventurine would be my e1 Bailu with HuoHuo's Signature.
Boothill seems really great, but the 4 stars on the banner are really lacking for my account. I already have E6 on all 3 of them. I don't know if I should still go for him since I already have a strong Luca.

First half try to get Robin sec half up to you to get boothil a dps or fuxuan a shielder
Ok my favorite team is the Blade Jingliu C6 Lynx (i dont have/want Loucha since id rather wait for a healer that buffs that team better) and Ruan Mei

I'm really stuck on who to go for. I'm a decently new acc I have a full acheron team (acheron, welt, Gallagher, gui) and I'm running a decent ratio team. (Ratio, aventurine, pela, asta) and I love topaz and Robin, I don't really like ratio that much but I don't have many other options. But I do enjoy the FUA playstyle so it's just a matter of who I should go for.
I want Boothill... to step on m- on my second team! First team is Acheron, Aventurine, Pela, Bronya and then I think it would be Boothill, Luocha, Asta/HMC and Tingyun.
I’ve got 230 pulls saved so far, Goin for Robin+LC and then saving again for Jade banner.
i skip sparkle last time since i roll for black swan.... will robin be good alternative despite not having FUA chars (except dr ratio, no clara either, i do have himiko, herta, and xueyi (not yet managed yet))

I currently have:
Adventurine, Dr Ratio, Tingyun, Pela
I was planning on holding Jades to roll for Topaz and Robin but I was talked into spending a gross amount of rolls on Jingliu (I kinda regret it ngl as I feel like I would have been fine with E6 Serval but here we are) this means current team 2 is: Lynx (E4), Bronya (Lucky 50/50 loss), Jingliu, Pela
What do you recommend I go for to round this out?
Robin, she is versatile and can be played in many teams. She will give a lot of value plus FuA is her best team. You can go for Topaz but you need at least her E1 or S1 or she won't be able to give enough debuffs for Ratio + mid dmg so you wouldn't wanna use her as a hypercarry either. She is easily replaceable with any other debuffers.
Is Aventurine enough at e0s0 ? Or should I pull for his Eidolon and/or lightcone too ?
Currently use him with trend of universal market lc on Archeron's team.

I’m currently saving for firefly but I’m a new account so I need either Robin or fu xuan. Which of them should I go for?
My account currently has : (team 1) Acheron E1S1, Pela , SW E0S0, gallagher E6 and (team 2) Jing Yuan E0S0, Hanya, Tingyun, Bailu E1S0. current pull tickets are 60(Acheron did me dirty don't ask) so yeah. I am really unsure what to pull here. Firefly seems like a Unit that I can really look forward to but Robin just get's hyped as this "must have" and it's true that I currently do not posess any premium supports like Bronya, Ruan Mei etc. Question would be if it is feasable to pull Robin as well as Firefly and if pulling any of them would even really help my acc.
A hard choice for me. I don't have any of the premium harmony units so I really want to have Robin. Plus I like the song in her ult. Topaz on the other hand I instantly liked her design ever since she was announced but I got busy in real life so I missed 3 months of hsr, including Topaz banner. I also have Ratio and Aventurine built so I have the fua team ready. There is also Fu xuan (another unit that I also want to get) and Firefly banner coming up.
I am interested in Boot Hill cause he plants physical weakness on his ultimate so I can use him everywhere except pure fiction, but I want to see the kits of firefly and jade and know who is coming in 2.4 before I make a decision.
Definitely going for Robin on my NA account (it's follow-up heaven there)
And I'll get Boothill on my EU cause I have Ruan Mei and sparkle there.
For my first console, it was actually a PS Vita (a little bit after it got released). I was about 11 years old at the time, and I played the god-awful COD version that came with it, along with MK9.
My main reason why to pull for robin is the all type res pen. (I'm new, so is it like break efficiency?)
I'm kind of tired pulling supports, so I'll maybe try my luck on Boothill 50/50 and pull for Firefly in 2.3.
I need help to decide who i should pull for (robin or boothill or aventurine) i basicly have all 4 stars and 5 stars besides huohuo and aventurine at the moment and i cant choose whom to pick from those 3 options (i wont whale or pay to get 2 out of the 3, im only going for one of them) someone please help me out.
Pls I need help. My two DPS r Acheron E2 and Jingliu, I have Sparkle as a buffer and planning on getting bronya from the selector. I only have bailu and March as sustain. Should I go for Robin or FX? Personally i don't want to pull FX, her kit seems wonky to me. I was originally planning on saving for Huohuo and Ruan Mei. What should be good for my account? Can't clear MoC over floor 5 or GnG difficulty 5 pls help 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
My only 5 star sustains are Bailu and Gepard, so pretty easy choice of Fu Xuan for me. Getting FX to swap out my Bailu on my DH IL, Tingyun, and Sparkle team means I'll have one "complete" team
im really struggling to decide if I should pull Robin because I already have E1 Bronya with her LC, I have Sparkle and Ruan Mei but im also like hmm she would be like PERFECT for my FuA Team with Aventurine, Topaz and Dr. Ratio. I pulled Aventurine because of the same reasons even with his LC, I have HuoHuo and Fu Xuan but I wanted to make my FuA team just perfect. Also my only other Dps characters are Xueyi and Jingliu. So im really struggling rn
Please advise: I have no clue who to pull for. On my account I have these lvl 80 characters:
FireMC, Acheron (R1), Kafka, Black Swan (R1), Sparkle, Dr Ratio, Adventurine (R1), IL-DH, Clara (R1), Gallagher (E6), Tingyun (E6), Lynx (E1), Natasha (E3).
Lvl 70 chars (not well built):
Hanya (E1), Guinaifen (E6), Yukong (E2), Pela (E1).
Other 5 stars (staying at lvl 20): Welt, Yanqing and Bailu.
I feel missing Ruan Mei and Huohuo, but no idea when they will have a re-run.
I will have the possibility for 1 character at best (right now only 40 pull is possible for me), so tough choice.

Don't have ruan mei so robin would be useful, But my lunae team needs a sustain and i've been waiting for a fu xuan rerun for a while. Can't decide as I already pulled aventurine for my acheron sw pela team. My imbibitor team runs the general sparkle + tingyun
I very likely would've been pulling for robin if the current fua pf was too much for me(as someone who has barely invested in fua teams); but since I managed to get all stars on it(barely but still), I think I'll save for firesam instead.
Robin kind of seems situational compared to other supports. She has team wide buffs, but It'll only be maximized in follow up attack teams. Robin's kit is pretty great since it's flexible but amazing in certain niches
Apparently she can accomplish clears one cycle less than ruan Mei in all teams but break

If you have Sparkle of Ruan Mei I would just use them instead and skip this banner so you can save for someone else who benefits your account more.
Nah, she is neither situational nor niche. She is good in all team comps, but her best team is FUA. You don't need to maximize her, that's how good her kits are.

I’m actually okay with not pulling Firefly, probably because of my Topaz and Himeko being enough for when I’m doing Pure Fiction. Silverwolf is what makes me less worried about my elemental coverage.
I dont have ruan mei, you think it could be a good idea to wait until she comes back instead of going for robin? Currently i run acheron which doesnt require a buffer, but i also run jingliu and will go for firefly too as dps
Look at it this way. Pulling any harmony character is a timeless investment.
I have built both Argenti and Clara, and also Bronya, Sparkle and Ruan Mei.
I don't need either of them, but I want both 😭
I heard Bronya and Ruan Mei so congrats, you have the full Premium Boothill team already. Just slap the new trailblazer, Gallagher, or other Harmony/Physical units and youre pretty good on his team🧐
I was thinking of skipping the characters in 2.2 especially the new ones since I have fu xuan and topaz already. Although I would want to try my luck on Robin since I skipped Ruan Mei which I regret so bad now. If I'm not gonna be able to get Robin I might as well save up for Jade
Hey, im new to the game, about 5 days in, i have Jingliu, Aventurine (1 tapped) Welt , Gepard and Dr Ratio as my 5 star roster so far. Just wondering if Robin is the best pull for me or wait for firefly for another DPS. I only have Pela and Asta as buffers. Love the content.
