I adore Jioaqius design and I find it very fitting and also subtle, I am hoping he is a direct upgrade to Pela as that would make me super happy to run alongside Guinaifen on my Acheron team. I also hope Yunli works well on the fua team because I think she would be adorable to run with Topaz!!

I'm actually fine with that + with him being a little more "basic" in design (even though we haven't seen his model yet). HSR in particular is really good about having both the 5/4* characters look great and have finer details (Yukong, Xueyi, and Hanya are probably the best examples of 4*s that look elaborate). I was planning to skip Firefly, and will try for Jade, but Yunli is cute so I might get her since the general is trying to set her up with Yanqing lol. I'm not a strict husbando collector *but* I do find Jiaoqiu's splash art and design very pretty and he looks like he has a fun personality. More male characters, and a foxian male which I wouldn't have expected lol, so I'm def pulling. Partially for Acheron (though mine is E2 and I love using her with Guinaifen) but also for Kafka because I don't currently have Black Swan even though I wanted her. That said... considering all the theories that Sunday isn't coming until whatever patch lines up with Christmas, I will be getting any pretty characters that catch my eye. I can't wait to see his animations. I hope he slaps people with a frying pan for basic and does something cool with his eyes on ult (idk if I think his eyes will always be closed like in his splash though)
I love the pink foxian close-eyed parts of Jiaoqiu's design, but wish his outfit was flashier. My friends and I were considering how much trouble we'd be in before he dripped, and our conclusion was a LOT. I have all of the Nihility units (except for BS who DODGED ME) because I genuinely think it's the most fun path, so he's a must pull. Other than that, a Black Swan, Sparkle, or Jing Yuan rerun is probably the only thing that could get me to pull, since all other jades are being saved for the eventual Sunday. I did pull Boothill and his light cone but I'm really not a fan of RM, so here's hoping the break effect kick they're on now has room for a different weakness break efficiency buffer, even if they aren't half as good as she is.
yeah man ruan has such a busted kit but her personality and story part (the weird bug quest) was just so sudden and I couldn't bring myself to justify pulling her :(

SW is fine and has her place. Im using her in my mono Quantum + Acheron team in MOC. I swap her for Pela only in PF. Really excited for Jiaoqiu as a potential replacement for Pela. If not he can fit on my second team I guess, Kafka+BlackSwan dot team if the kit turn out to be dot oriented.
SW is also very sp friendly with 1-2 enemies on the field use your skill then you can basic atk for 3 turns she is also very versatile in use I hope she synergizes well with jiaoqiu
After spending all my jade for Boothill and his Lightcone I am going into save mode until Jiaoqiu's release. Aiming for him and his light cone 😜 I love me a good ol fox boy! Plus Firefly,Jade, Yunli and the reruns do not interest me in the slightest even if theyre meta.

The man already has an insane def shred, increases ultimate dmg, and also can heal (realistically probably not that much but still a nice bonus). If he powercreeps Guinaifen on top of that it would be insane. But then again his beta kit might see some changes so we'll see what happens. After all HSR does like to make some insane characters

Having E2S1 Acheron, this is a must for me. Aside from being an upgrade for Pela, I can run Landau's choice/Moment of Victory LC on Aventurine for my Acheron team.

I just use the other slot for whoever harmony i feel using, may it be sparkle/robin/ruan mei or even Bronya when I'm bored. And with Aventurine in a team, who even needs heal.

i'm really intrigued by him! he's voiced by Mark Whitten in the EN dub and I've really liked his voice work in the past, particularly as Seteth in Fire Emblem 3 Houses. plus I did intend on picking up Acheron whenever she reruns! but if he gets the Luocha treatment (i.e. we hardly know anything about him, just that he's shady) it's a tough sell

Main reason I'm considering Jiaoqiu is as support for Acheron. I'll still wait and see his kit before making a final decision. The only reason I like his design is because he reminds me of Isshiki from Shokugeki no Soma. They're both chefs and they have the same expression on their face.

Having trouble with making a secondary team. Ive got every 4 star except luka and guinaifen, SW, bronya, fu xuan, yanqing, jing liu and acheron (+ mc and dr ratio). Team 1 is pela, acheron, SW and fu xuan. Any ideas? Also looking for who to pull for next, heard jing liu and ruan mei make a good pair so thats wot im aiming for rn
Personally, I don't pull for guys but I have to strongly consider Jiaoqui because he's a Nihility healer. For one, I'm currently only missing Silver Wolf so I want to complete the Nihility set. Also, he'll be able to open up my team building options for Acheron. Firefly, Jade and Yunli are my priorities, but God-willing, if I get them all with Stellar Jades to spare, I'm going for Jiaoqui.
Personally I’m at that point where I think I’m okay with my teams for now. The only way I’ll pull for Jiaoqiu is if he will really push my account forward or introduce a different play style. I think my Acheron already do a lot of damage and I’m don’t really care for 0 cycle neither. As long I can clear with 3* I’m good. If he is a DoT character then I might consider cuz I do like DoT play style. So far I’m looking to get Firefly for the break play style and possibly Huohuo if I can for my DoT team since she dodged me back then.
Hmm, I like his design... still no Sunday... My current plans are Firefly, Huohuo (whenever she reruns, I want another copy), and Sunday. So with no Sunday in sight, I might have jades for foxy man. I do love me some Foxians.
In the near future I'm looking hard at Firefly because I could use some fire damage to round out my teams. I have Himeko but I'm just not feeling her. Huo Huo is also a priority. I slept on her last time and feel like I made a mistake. Jiaoqiu could be interesting and if his kit is cool I'll definitely try to pick him up even though I don't love his design. It's just alright.
I am torn. I have guarantee I’m 10-30 pulls. I am missing a fire DPS, but I am going to get Himeko from the 300 pull selector. I also need better options for PF. And I main Acheron. Thinking probably Firefly over Jade, then hoping for 50/50 on Jiaoqiu? But I don’t know. Livestream tomorrow might seal the deal.
I dont have Kafka or Black Swan on my account so if Jiaoqiu is another DOT centric character I will most likelly skip him since I dont have a core character for DTO team, probably I will first go for Kafka or Black Swan re-run since you know booba. The only way for me to pull for Jiao Qiu is like you said, if he is a Nihility that can sustain (with heals or damage reduction) so I can run him + Pela + Harmony character with my Acheron Since we are after the livestream, from shadows I dont particulary like any character that will show in 2.4 and onword so maybe I will manage to save some jades COPIUM
I am really hoping that their kit is the heal package from simulated universe where whenever DOT damage happens it heals the team. He would also fit in nicely for adding certain DOT‘s for Kafka to set off because then we would have five star lightning, a wind and a fire elemental DOT team that really could do a lot of damage

I think he is cute! But i still don't know if i'll pull for him, since im looking for building a dot team and i may have to wait for kafka's or black swan's rerun. I have acheron and i like the idea of jiaoqiu supporting her but i will have to wait and see which path im gonna choose
2.4 will kill me, jiaoqiu might be a must pull for me because of acheron and there's a solid chance for a huo huo rerun since we're going back to the luofu or so it appears and it has also been a while since her first run, so 2 characters I want to pull is kind of a shame, especially due to ruan mei in 2.3 being very likely, which would be nice for my quantum dps and break team with xueyi but it's sounding unlikely for me to pull for ruan mei if she does have her rerun in 2.3 or 2.4 at this point. It will all depend on who is first and second wave of 2.4

I have an HSR OC who is Physical Abudance and she's a healer focused on DoT, healing allies whenever DoT procs while buffing DoT dmg, I wonder if Jiaoqiu will work in a similiar way

It's a really tough situation for me right now. Now Im running a team with fu xuan, serval, clara and tingyun. I've saved up to 18.4k Jades so far and Imma build Break team next. I already have Gallagher, now I need Ruan Mei and FF. But after the drip market revealed, Im even more confused 😢. Can someone give me some suggestions how should I invest in the upcoming updates?
Honestly im gonna skip him not cause he wears an NPC outfit or cause i have a waifu only account its just the characters before him are gonna be good characters in the long run
I mean, I don’t wanna influence your decision and you should pull who you like, but if you want someone good for the long run, supports are always better than DPS and DPS can always get powercrept. Out of all the characters in 2.4, the one who will be good “for the long run” is Jianqiu
@@levi3248 There is more than enough powerful supports in the game right now people still using powerpuff girls to 0 cycle content with Arlan and Yanqing. New supports will have to do some crazy stuff to actually be worth pulling for 50% break efficency, weakness implants, def shred, 100% action forward, crit dmg buffs, energy regen, crit rate buffs, all res pen we got it all with current supports. In the long run every character can be overpowered with current supports unless they make a kit so restrictive it not even worth pulling anyway since we have so many universal supports.
@@kennethyoung7457 yeah but that applies to DPS too. Everyone can get powercrept but DPS are MORE likely and MORE often going to be. Also the potential within harmony seems to be pretty exhausted but the potential within nihility has barely been explored. All we have are SW and Welt who are good but not crazy, and so there’s very strong potential within there compared to something like a physical destruction
@@electroneurons uhh, do you have Acheron? Because Acheron doesn’t really have any supports that synergize really well with her and Jiaoqiu will probably be that support. If you don’t have Acheron then yeah, he’s probably still really good but super beneficial if you have most supports
Between Yunli and Jiaoqiu Jiaoqiu is certainly the one that interests me more. At this point I have Boothill and Argenti so I'm pretty well covered for Physical damage and as you said 5-star Nihility characters are always something to at least consider. That said I'm pulling for 4 characters in a row (Aventurine, Robin, Boothill, Firefly) so there's a very real chance I'll have no (or not enough) Jades by the time he comes out. Right now the only reruns I'd consider would be Kafka and Hou Hou but if really only go for them if I don't see a new character that I care about. I have only just now started building DoT characters and who knows how long it'll be before Kafka's second rerun and I have all the sustain options in the game except Hou Hou so I certainly don't need her but it would be nice to have her in certain content.
Personally i like his design, but im unsure if i will pull him, i dont have (and dont want) acheron or dot units. So i likely wont be able to use him well, but if there is nothing interesting in 2.5 then i might pull him.
Whether i pull for him or not will depend on his kit/animation. If he has unique kit or can even buff Acheron, then i'll consider it, if his animation is great then i'll double consider it, but if both of those aspect are mid then, im afraid its a skip
I just wish they stopped using the same body template over and over again for all their characters. Even the upcoming genshin characters look so plain now (same build just different clothes ). They could at least get inspiration for character models from LoL or DOTA 2

Between Firefly, ruan mei , sparkle and jiaoqiu What is the best investment for me ? ( I have enough pulls for two characters no 50/50)
Main reason I'm considering Jiaoqiu is as support for Acheron. I'll still wait and see his kit before making a final decision.
The only reason I like his design is because he reminds me of Isshiki from Shokugeki no Soma. They're both chefs and they have the same expression on their face.

Having trouble with making a secondary team. Ive got every 4 star except luka and guinaifen, SW, bronya, fu xuan, yanqing, jing liu and acheron (+ mc and dr ratio). Team 1 is pela, acheron, SW and fu xuan. Any ideas? Also looking for who to pull for next, heard jing liu and ruan mei make a good pair so thats wot im aiming for rn

I like the design a lot, one of my favorite male character ( i'm usually a waifu player). He also reminds me of Siobhan.
I love his design and I do have Acheron, though she is E2…. Also have Aventurine. So will see, but this foxy boy design is nice.
Personally, I don't pull for guys but I have to strongly consider Jiaoqui because he's a Nihility healer. For one, I'm currently only missing Silver Wolf so I want to complete the Nihility set. Also, he'll be able to open up my team building options for Acheron.
Firefly, Jade and Yunli are my priorities, but God-willing, if I get them all with Stellar Jades to spare, I'm going for Jiaoqui.
Personally I’m at that point where I think I’m okay with my teams for now. The only way I’ll pull for Jiaoqiu is if he will really push my account forward or introduce a different play style. I think my Acheron already do a lot of damage and I’m don’t really care for 0 cycle neither. As long I can clear with 3* I’m good. If he is a DoT character then I might consider cuz I do like DoT play style. So far I’m looking to get Firefly for the break play style and possibly Huohuo if I can for my DoT team since she dodged me back then.
Hmm, I like his design... still no Sunday... My current plans are Firefly, Huohuo (whenever she reruns, I want another copy), and Sunday. So with no Sunday in sight, I might have jades for foxy man. I do love me some Foxians.

In the near future I'm looking hard at Firefly because I could use some fire damage to round out my teams. I have Himeko but I'm just not feeling her. Huo Huo is also a priority. I slept on her last time and feel like I made a mistake. Jiaoqiu could be interesting and if his kit is cool I'll definitely try to pick him up even though I don't love his design. It's just alright.

I am torn. I have guarantee I’m 10-30 pulls. I am missing a fire DPS, but I am going to get Himeko from the 300 pull selector. I also need better options for PF. And I main Acheron.

My Acheron is already brute forcing endgame even at e0. So I am more excited for Kafka and blackswan rerun tbh. Wanna play dot as soon as possible.
I dont have Kafka or Black Swan on my account so if Jiaoqiu is another DOT centric character I will most likelly skip him since I dont have a core character for DTO team, probably I will first go for Kafka or Black Swan re-run since you know booba.
The only way for me to pull for Jiao Qiu is like you said, if he is a Nihility that can sustain (with heals or damage reduction) so I can run him + Pela + Harmony character with my Acheron
Since we are after the livestream, from shadows I dont particulary like any character that will show in 2.4 and onword so maybe I will manage to save some jades COPIUM

I am really hoping that their kit is the heal package from simulated universe where whenever DOT damage happens it heals the team. He would also fit in nicely for adding certain DOT‘s for Kafka to set off because then we would have five star lightning, a wind and a fire elemental DOT team that really could do a lot of damage
He's not really a dot character to my knowledge, jus a debuffer

2.4 will kill me, jiaoqiu might be a must pull for me because of acheron and there's a solid chance for a huo huo rerun since we're going back to the luofu or so it appears and it has also been a while since her first run, so 2 characters I want to pull is kind of a shame, especially due to ruan mei in 2.3 being very likely, which would be nice for my quantum dps and break team with xueyi but it's sounding unlikely for me to pull for ruan mei if she does have her rerun in 2.3 or 2.4 at this point.
It will all depend on who is first and second wave of 2.4

I have an HSR OC who is Physical Abudance and she's a healer focused on DoT, healing allies whenever DoT procs while buffing DoT dmg, I wonder if Jiaoqiu will work in a similiar way

@@oc3an.b3lls Yep. Also her ultimate works like Kafka's just weaker, and also with a Trace allows her to remove a debuff from teammates and implant the same debuff on random enemy

It's a really tough situation for me right now. Now Im running a team with fu xuan, serval, clara and tingyun. I've saved up to 18.4k Jades so far and Imma build Break team next. I already have Gallagher, now I need Ruan Mei and FF. But after the drip market revealed, Im even more confused 😢. Can someone give me some suggestions how should I invest in the upcoming updates?
Get Ruan Mei and FF it will be a top meta team and isn't too hard to get relics for.
Honestly im gonna skip him not cause he wears an NPC outfit or cause i have a waifu only account its just the characters before him are gonna be good characters in the long run
I mean, I don’t wanna influence your decision and you should pull who you like, but if you want someone good for the long run, supports are always better than DPS and DPS can always get powercrept.
Out of all the characters in 2.4, the one who will be good “for the long run” is Jianqiu
@levi3248 a problem with that is that i practically almost have all supports in the game
@@levi3248 There is more than enough powerful supports in the game right now people still using powerpuff girls to 0 cycle content with Arlan and Yanqing. New supports will have to do some crazy stuff to actually be worth pulling for 50% break efficency, weakness implants, def shred, 100% action forward, crit dmg buffs, energy regen, crit rate buffs, all res pen we got it all with current supports.
In the long run every character can be overpowered with current supports unless they make a kit so restrictive it not even worth pulling anyway since we have so many universal supports.
@@kennethyoung7457 yeah but that applies to DPS too. Everyone can get powercrept but DPS are MORE likely and MORE often going to be.
Also the potential within harmony seems to be pretty exhausted but the potential within nihility has barely been explored. All we have are SW and Welt who are good but not crazy, and so there’s very strong potential within there compared to something like a physical destruction
@@electroneurons uhh, do you have Acheron? Because Acheron doesn’t really have any supports that synergize really well with her and Jiaoqiu will probably be that support.
If you don’t have Acheron then yeah, he’s probably still really good but super beneficial if you have most supports

I suspect that he's a healer in that his LC will require healing to work. Maybe ok in zero cycle but won't ever replace an abundance unit.

Between Yunli and Jiaoqiu Jiaoqiu is certainly the one that interests me more. At this point I have Boothill and Argenti so I'm pretty well covered for Physical damage and as you said 5-star Nihility characters are always something to at least consider. That said I'm pulling for 4 characters in a row (Aventurine, Robin, Boothill, Firefly) so there's a very real chance I'll have no (or not enough) Jades by the time he comes out.
Right now the only reruns I'd consider would be Kafka and Hou Hou but if really only go for them if I don't see a new character that I care about.
I have only just now started building DoT characters and who knows how long it'll be before Kafka's second rerun and I have all the sustain options in the game except Hou Hou so I certainly don't need her but it would be nice to have her in certain content.
If he has a chance to fulfill both Nihility and sustain roles… I say let him cook! (-:
Personally i like his design, but im unsure if i will pull him, i dont have (and dont want) acheron or dot units. So i likely wont be able to use him well, but if there is nothing interesting in 2.5 then i might pull him.

Whether i pull for him or not will depend on his kit/animation. If he has unique kit or can even buff Acheron, then i'll consider it, if his animation is great then i'll double consider it, but if both of those aspect are mid then, im afraid its a skip

Im not really a fan of his design. Just seems a bit plain, however might change if his involvement with the story is cool.
I just wish they stopped using the same body template over and over again for all their characters. Even the upcoming genshin characters look so plain now (same build just different clothes ). They could at least get inspiration for character models from LoL or DOTA 2
