I feel like this is the theme for the _Furious Omori._ If we take the image as a base, we can assume that Omori intervened on Sunny's Duet, refusing to be defeated. I feel like if the player himself kept trying to abandon others Omori would only be furious at Sunny for being that selfish (In my head it makes sense since Omori tries to guilt trip you into thinking you are the true villain and really should just die)

I love how the entire song is so anxiety giving but when it slows downs, you starting to feel less guilable and anxious, and a single piano note plays at the end. And that part appears as when you use "calm" skill in the game. I love the detail! Also the pianist is Mari in the game, If that piano sound known as "calm down", then it shows as Sunny getting calm down by Mari? Like how she supports and loves him no matter what? That's how I think about it.

This song played in one of my nightmares once. In that dream I found my sisters tied up in rope and covered in bruises and I was helping them escape the house they were stuck in and a person from my past came after us I got my sisters to flee from the scene and told that "person" if they wanted my sisters she would have to go through me. We fought viscously while this song played. She was trying to kill me screaming the most hurtful things and I did the same in return. I wasn't running I was fighting back. Man I play a whole animation in my head as I listen to this. The start up is just fast peaceful images of headspace. Rolling past locations like the Vast Forest, Otherworld, Orange Oasis.... Ect As we move to the abrupt anxiety inducing pauses in the song, I picture a quick revelation that we are at the hospital, reality and headspace start rapidly flickering between each other as you run after and chase your headspace friends in the hospital. All while flickering images of moments Sunny has spent with them in faraway town happen. When the pauses stop and long chords start to play I just picture Sunny surrendering in pain to Omori. Sunny phases into Omori, clinging to Omori in a fetal position. That final build up is Omori walking up the steps of the throne of red hands while simultaneously flickering to Sunny walking up the stairs to the roof... and finally Omori reaches the throne and sits. Sunny falls off the roof. That final slow relief part at the end, is just Sunny falling, and that last off beat chord at the end is Basil frowning as the guilt shadows around his neck flashes in those last few frames. Just goes to show how impactful this song is, so many emotions captured in one piece.

I love how the start has the static moments from Alter, which many people theorise to be from the day of the recital accident The way you mash up themes that were supposed to be used together in the first place is brilliant, especially when it comes to Remembrance and the Title theme Sunny trying to block it out at first, with the sudden stops and static at the start, before finally continuing to play the theme after that constant starting and stopping happens Always a nice touch with the piano too Mari is both Sunny’s trigger and his calming agent. It’s his pain and anaesthetic. What happened to Mari and what he had done to her scarred him, the remembering her with such care and fondness also helps him to heal from the trauma

The final notes gave me chills. Thank you for making this. Really. It captures all the feels all at once and gives you this feeling of anxiety, dread, and bittersweetness, all at once. I can't imagine the guilt Sunny felt, especially in the Oyasumi Route.
In music, you have to master the sounds you're playing with but also the silences. In the first part it hits me like crazy how you managed to make it so damn good and, shit it sounds real in some way ?? It's hard to explain this feeling with words but I guess it was the same vibe I get while facing Omori for the first time, the feeling that something massive, heavy and powerful was happening. That's a bunch of reasons among a lot more why I think your work is a masterpiece, music and art, both are legendary as heck. Thanks a lot for the experience.

I absolutely love how the beginning of the song sounds like it's breaking, just like how Sunny might begin to break, but near the middle to the end, the song fully forms together, with no sudden stops, as if Omori isn't the only one who wont succumb. The ending, as some have stated, may also reference how Mari is telling Sunny to not give up. Despite this, I actually believe the piano segment tells how Mari is truly proud of Sunny for overcoming his trauma, because Sunny by this point of the song already defeated Omori, at least to me.
This mix gives off the combined energy of anxiety and determination, as if you're about to face off against a powerful force that can destroy you easily, yet despite your fear of it, you're also hell bent on fighting that force no matter the result. In short, fantastic mix, bro. I'll be using it when I go running.

This song gives a good definition of someone fighting off depression,anxiety, trauma, etc just by listening to the first part, it kinda sounds like your depression/trauma is taking over but during the end you finally gain your strength back and face IT, slowly fighting it off one step at a time. I can imagine sunny going up the stairs this whole entire time because of his counterpart (omori) fighting him up there but once sunny overcomes his fears, guilts, and omori himself he starts to go back down those stairs showing that he has control now and ultimately succeeds (unless you chose the bad ending... OYASUMI OYASUMI)

I like the idea in the comments that Sunny felt guilty during the duet, allowing a furious OMORI to come back and try to kill off Sunny, but my addition to that idea is that it's a Sunny & Mari VS OMORI fight, like Sunny's mind is so close to forgiving himself that he finally has a chance to use Mari's memory as an advantage and leverage against OMORI, Mari could offer dialogue like "OMORI, you're yelling at Sunny for running away from the truth but at the same time you hide the truth from him, which is it that you want? You can't have both." Stuff like that That or it plays if Sunny did most of the stuff where he could hang out with his real world friends, like a final chance to stop Sunny from jumping in the bad ending, except Sunny can now use his own anger and emotions against Omori, like Sunny can lash out and criticize Omori and Headspace in a blind rage in an effort to weaken Omori and gain a foot hold, ultimately winning against all his fears and guilt where he collects himself and his thoughts, striking Omori down and telling his friends the truth.

The mix of the instruments, sounds, and similarities with the official tracks, is pretty damn good. The overall tone of an actual boss *fight* , along with panic and stress, is also quite good. Plus the noticeable different tone in the other half of the song. All along with it sounding unique-ishly great. Nicely done.
I like to imagine, at the 3:53, Mari appeared and told him to fight his guilt and confess. And no matter the consequences, she'll always be there. And at 4:21, she smiles and says I love you, little brother and then disappears. Idk I have a soft spot for Sunny and I make this just for the sake of making myself cry

Thank you for making this beautiful remix. It helped me to reflect about this problem I'm facing with my friend and I feel really guilty about myself and this song depicts how I feel all too well. The EDM and piano violin combination is way too addicting that I keep looping this for hours. I especially like the statics and how you insert every pauses that kept me waiting for the next notes. Also, the piano going slower and slower and more distorted part on 1:49 sounds so perfect. This remix made me feel emotions I never really feel.

The final notes gave me chills. Thank you for making this. Really. It captures all the feels all at once and gives you this feeling of anxiety, dread, and bittersweetness, all at once. I can't imagine the guilt Sunny felt, especially in the Oyasumi Route.
In music, you have to master the sounds you're playing with but also the silences. In the first part it hits me like crazy how you managed to make it so damn good and, shit it sounds real in some way ?? It's hard to explain this feeling with words but I guess it was the same vibe I get while facing Omori for the first time, the feeling that something massive, heavy and powerful was happening. That's a bunch of reasons among a lot more why I think your work is a masterpiece, music and art, both are legendary as heck.

I absolutely love how the beginning of the song sounds like it's breaking, just like how Sunny might begin to break, but near the middle to the end, the song fully forms together, with no sudden stops, as if Omori isn't the only one who wont succumb. The ending, as some have stated, may also reference how Mari is telling Sunny to not give up. Despite this, I actually believe the piano segment tells how Mari is truly proud of Sunny for overcoming his trauma, because Sunny by this point of the song already defeated Omori, at least to me.

This song gives a good definition of someone fighting off depression,anxiety, trauma, etc just by listening to the first part, it kinda sounds like your depression/trauma is taking over but during the end you finally gain your strength back and face IT, slowly fighting it off one step at a time.
I can imagine sunny going up the stairs this whole entire time because of his counterpart (omori) fighting him up there but once sunny overcomes his fears, guilts, and omori himself he starts to go back down those stairs showing that he has control now and ultimately succeeds (unless you chose the bad ending... OYASUMI OYASUMI)

Man decided to cook and made a dish that deserves to be in a 5 stars restaurant
I like the idea in the comments that Sunny felt guilty during the duet, allowing a furious OMORI to come back and try to kill off Sunny, but my addition to that idea is that it's a Sunny & Mari VS OMORI fight, like Sunny's mind is so close to forgiving himself that he finally has a chance to use Mari's memory as an advantage and leverage against OMORI, Mari could offer dialogue like "OMORI, you're yelling at Sunny for running away from the truth but at the same time you hide the truth from him, which is it that you want? You can't have both." Stuff like that
That or it plays if Sunny did most of the stuff where he could hang out with his real world friends, like a final chance to stop Sunny from jumping in the bad ending, except Sunny can now use his own anger and emotions against Omori, like Sunny can lash out and criticize Omori and Headspace in a blind rage in an effort to weaken Omori and gain a foot hold, ultimately winning against all his fears and guilt where he collects himself and his thoughts, striking Omori down and telling his friends the truth.

also around 1:50 ish where the chaos (which feels like it could represent the adventures of headspace or the horrors in blackspace) just stops and it sounds like falling feels like it represents everyone’s (mostly sunny’s) spiral after mari’s death (fitting with how she died) and the screams from ALTER (i think thats the track’s name? the one that’s next to OMORI in the list of the ost on spotify (atleast 4 me ;•_•)

Thank you for making this beautiful remix. It helped me to reflect about this problem I'm facing with my friend and I feel really guilty about myself and this song depicts how I feel all too well. The EDM and piano violin combination is way too addicting that I keep looping this for hours. I especially like the statics and how you insert every pauses that kept me waiting for the next notes. Also, the piano going slower and slower and more distorted part on 1:49 sounds so perfect. This remix made me feel emotions I never really feel.
