  • Last January I had to fly back from Vancouver to Edmonton after my Cathay Pacific flight. I had the choice between Air Canada, Flair Airlines and WestJet. Usually Flair are cheaper, but since I travelled with a carry on, it was actually a bit cheaper to fly with WestJet (hand luggage included) on their Boeing 737-600 than it was with Flair (hand luggage $35). While checking in, I got the offer to upgrade to Premium for $49, an offer that I couldn't resist. Especially because I just reached one thousand subscribers that morning, so reason enough to celebrate. In this video I also visit the YVR Domestic Plaza Premium Lounge.

    Flight Number: WS162
    Airline: WestJet

I only got to fly WestJet 2 times before 5 years ago and it was such a great experience! They really are a great company and I hope to fly them again but of course right now I am not flying around anymore for now. Great review again Robin and hoping that you keep it up again when it gets better! Cheerio

The inflight meal that you had look amazing, but the seat was just bo. Luckily that they are now switching to the larger seats. But I believe this plane will likely be no longer served anymore. Thank you for sharing your experience and stay safe 💪

Look forward to trying out WestJet once things get back to normal, especially in the new 2-2 seating! I hope the food quality remains in the future.

Wow, Your review brought back memories of flying westjet way back! I always wondered about premium plaza. The restaurant across from the Starbucks has a decent breakfast iirc!
Times are tough, hopefully things start to get back on track before too long.

It is funny because there are only 2 places you are allowed to be drunk at (besides home or someone else's home)
    #1 A bar/saloon
    #2 An airplane
The irony of it is that there are so many restrictions surrounding aircraft, yet you can gladly get shit-faced drunk on one!

I wouldn’t say getting hammered is technically allowed on planes (please behave yourself towards crew and fellow pax), but airports and planes are the only places where drinking at any time of day isn’t frowned upon.
