We are waiting for the next level LLM. CLaude Engineer is really the best tool i have ever used. Please keep updating us on this. We need a cheaper, just-as-capable model other than claude 3.5

Open interpreter is beautiful & this Sonnet engineering. I just wonder how long will it take Microsoft to simply make systems like this perfect & for the general public. I think within a year🎉

Interesting comment. I use Open Interpreter with ChatGPT 4o which does all that he mentioned above built a parking app which decrements parking spots when persons arrive and icrements spots when persons depart...the cost was not too prohibitive. Even though Claude 3.5 is amazing it is very expensive for using the API.. with chatgpt 4o the cost has come down considerably which for me a no brainer for not switching.

I'm also a big fan of Open Interpreter.
tbh Open interpreter still offers more features
      and options than Claude Engineer.
But, at this stage they are both "good enough" or may I say pretty amazing.
The limiting factor is the LLM not the way any of these projects is structured.
If cost is an issue 4o is a better choice,
      If you're optimizing for quality,
I'd go with Claude 3.5 Sonnet anyday.

yes but claude 3.5 API is nto cheap. I burnt through $10 within 30minutes

I work for Big Corpo - 100K employees and only 1% using AI. My bossess they're not promoting change, they're promoting "status quo" I use the same thechnology as in 1995! (I practice AI at home). Remember, in Big Corpo, AI doesn't stand for "Artificial Intelligence," it stands for "Ain't Implementing" that anytime soon!

Haha didn't know it stands for 'ain't implementing...
      Well, that's their problem

Big Corpo will probably become Broke Corpo pretty soon.

Any software, large language model or whatever, that can operate your computer at the system level, such as creating folders or even databases is insanely beautiful.

Did anyone find it funny, that when he went to his RUclips to choose a video to download, the hawth thoo video was the 1st recommended video.😅

when the costs go down and the context window reaches 1M tokens, then we can really say goodbye to software engineers.

    • @ecomxfactor-YaronBeen
      @ecomxfactor-YaronBeen  Месяц назад

I'm not sure if 1m context window is what we need,
the problem with longer context windows is that the LLM isn't capable in understanding what matters more.

@@ecomxfactor-YaronBeen Yes true. It just throws the entire conversation history into the context when 90% of the conversation is irrelevant.

Why do people feel like they should reinvent the wheel instead of contributing to more mature projects instead? Aider is so far ahead of this and now advanced, and this is not catching up. It also has benchmarks so you're not just guessing in the dark like this. Why would anyone use this when Aider exists? ??

    • @ecomxfactor-YaronBeen

I don't think that Aider and Open Interpreter or Claude-Engineer are similar.
imho Aider is more like an AI coding assistant while I consider Open interpreter and Claude-Engineer to be more like Agentic AI engineers.
      Pros and cons to both.
Aider offers more control, So i can see why you consider it to be superior.
Let me know what you think
