Benny’s rail plane was tested in the town where I live (Milngavie Pronounced Milguy)north of Glasgow). The building where it was constructed is still there and is now a building supplies company. Inchinan is beside Glasgow Airport.
Love the way you pronounce the Scottish place names. Inchinan is in-shin-in. Renfrewshire is Ren-few-shire and as above Mul-guy or Mil-guy. You sounded so funny 😂
Plus Glasgow airport is not in Glasgow, but in Renfrew. Don't know why no direct train/tram service to centre of Glasgow as you either need to get Taxi into Glasgow or goto the nearest train station called Paisley Gilmore Street and get a train that can take 9-11 minutes into the centre of Glasgow.
@@jlearmont that’s because the money went to pay for the trams in Edinburgh. It is utter lunacy that there is a railway line 400m from the end of the runway and no connection to the city. A spur from was proposed in the late 90s/2000s but never went ahead.
The rail plane was such a cool idea. The dual purpose of it also being used for transporting irrigation water is genius. Sad to see when the better tech and ideas do not prevail over greed.

I dont get how grasping at air to propel a vehicle could be anywhere near as efficient as just powering the wheels that your vehicle already has anyway
If we built an electrified track above existing rail line. To carry these type of trains it would be a lot cheaper than creating a full new infrastructure for new types of Train. Look at the disaster of HS2 through costs. The Chinese have shown everyone what can be possible. Where there's a will there's a way.
I cant agree that the rail plane train will be more economical than conventional rail trains. The infra structure costs will be astronomical in comparison with ground based rails taking also in account the seat capacity of the two systems. Stick to ground based rails and aircraft. Maybe area 51 has to reveal the anti gravity concept for anti gravity transport.
Well yea. You're right. It's more expensive going overhead but has no level crossings causing delays to cars. Apples and oranges. Also with efficiency. I looked it up. Props are more efficient at high speed. Again, apples and oranges. I think the standard rail service needed to be given shares in lieu of permission to use their rail easements so they would profit against their losses in standard services. I would put the props underneath though attached between two delta wings with wheels. Too much steel overhead with poor aesthetics
How would the infrastructure be astronomical if the rails followed existing tracks? It could be electrified today easily also. I don't know if you work in engineering or construction but I do. I know for a fact it would be far cheaper to do this than create a totally brand new type of travel infrastructure.
Listening to people from outside the UK try to pronounce place names in the UK makes me realise how inconsistent our pronouncation of spelling really is.
The Soviet Ghost Trains are still circling in the Russian Federation today. But today, one train can launch 314 twenty megaton warheads. There are, at least, 10 Ghost Trains circling all of the Russian Federation today. This is why nobody dare invade the Russian Federation. Today, these trains clrcle completely unmanned. They circle for seven years continuously, completely unmanned, and autonomously. All of them are programmed to lauch their 314 warheads upon interruption of a continuous radio signal, or upon the launch signal given. The frequency of the radio signal is changed at 00:00 nightly. Each radio signal holds a pattern for 24hours and changes every 24 hours. If the radio signal is not received in, at least, one of the trains's antennas for more than the allotted time, the train will send a transmission to another Ghost Train. If the other Ghost train transmits back no continuous radio signal received in any of its antennas, then all trains activate. If no signal to stop launch condition is received within the secondary allotted time, all Soviet Ghost trains launch their missiles. It has been found that some of the Ghost Trains have been retrofitted with technologies to keep one running continuously for 12 years.

Adam Something would either be impressed or screaming in agony at these
Knowing him he gonna say some racist slurs to all these things
Yes he's racist
He scream in anger at anything that isn't a rectangle with a set of wheels on rails
What would also have fit very well into this series would be the Aérotrain from Jean Bertin.

The railplane seems a good idea... Because its true ground is too chaotic now
Great design.
USE IT.
New fae vid bout to hit🔥🔥
just realised we have one of the lamps that can be seen on the inside of the plane train cabin and on desks in your other videos

There’s a suspended monorail in Wuppertal, Germany that’s part of the cities transport system.
The Benny wasn't built and those stupid chain boats were. Le sigh!
Crazy trains

Stephenson, grandiose…..
Kinda sad that most countries rather have car infrastructure than rail. Trains are much cooler than cars

Honestly you sound British so why can’t you pronounce towns like Dagenham (never heard of Ford for heaven’s sake?).
He’s very clearly not British. And even actual British people struggle with some of our place names.

Love the vid but please please double check your pronunciation, stuffing up Hindenburg is sloppy on a transport vid, check with Dad while editing
