    Yes indeed, we have many but not all Stanley products available in local malls here in the Philippines. We used to preheat our thermos jugs while the coffee was brewing. That way we still had some hot left for the afternoon break when working outside winter jobs.

      Thanks for the comment and Views brother. I hope your holiday weekend over there in the Philippines is going great. Yeah heating up or cooling down the style mug is definitely the way to go. Been using it every morning I am kind of attached to it now.

    I love this mug. Just don't break the lid. The flip cap broke on one of mine. They don't have a replacement lid available on their replacement parts webpage. I emailed Stanley, they sent me to the order page that does not have the lid and closed my case. They also told me if I can't find it to look on Ebay.

      Damn that sucks. I know a guy who had an issue with one of their vacuum containers and he had to email them call them go through I don't know how many times before he finally got him to take care of the issue. It's sad when a company goes that way it's not like it was when I was a kid. Thanks for the info brother you have a good night

    I love all my stanley outdoor products! Just like coleman, they're quality and last forever. Got the cooksets, cookcup. Mugs, thermoses etc. They might be heavy but they are worth it and last the abuse.

      True for most of the stuff. Some of the Coleman these days doesn't measure up to the stuff from the 60 - 70's. Thanks for the comment and views.

    I like it, but I like all Stanley products. That would be great to use on my electric trike. I could sit it right in my front basket. Nice review!!!

      Now that's an idea I never thought of in a basket on a trike! Thanks for the comment and Views and I hope you stick around, have a great day!

    Great review! Very thorough. Wondering if there are any other mugs similar to this one, ie. large mugs with a very wide base to resist tipping. Thanks!!

    Damn haven’t seen or used one those metal ice trays in years.Yes I’m spoilt (ice maker) LOL.Hated filling those damn things

      @user-ce5xz5rc2s lol Ya when I was a kid I didn't like them at all. Used to get in trouble for not filling them back up lol. Now many years later I like them better than a ice maker. After replacing a very expensive ice maker then having it die after 5 years I went back to the old school way. Thanks for the comment and views have a great day.

    Some weeks ago we had a 27 hr power outage with nightime temps of -9'C. I had filled an older glass VACUUM-INSULATED 'Thermos' bottle on Wed AM and it was still hot on Thurs PM {made in Canada}. The old "made in USA or CANADA stuff was QUALITY !!!
    Where is that "made in North-America" quality today ??

      It's all sold out in the name of progress and cheap disposable garbage. That's one of the big reasons I started this channel, real reviews by an everyday guy. Thanks for your comment and views.

    overpriced if you ask me, i understand they dont sell replacements for the fragile lid

    • @charlesartificer2158
      @charlesartificer2158  Год назад +1

      Its not for everyone. I wouldn't call the lid fragile. Its just plastic, drop it on a hard surface from height and you will damage it. Just like any other plastic lid.
