Ranging from GTA III's Claude and even Tommy Vercetti mentioned in GTA San Andreas! Is there a chance of Tommy Vercetti in GTA 6 Happening?! While that is nothing to get your hopes up over, Rockstar Games teased the first ever GTA 6 character back in GTA IV! They should remake the actual "Easter egg" reference but instead of an actual egg, have a statue of Tommy in the room.

I predict Tommy Vercetti will play a similar role in GTA 6 as Tony Montana/Scarface in our universe. A legendary figure/ pop culture icon of the 1980s.
That would be cool af! The new generation bringing up Vercetti like some sort of urban legend would be insane. Tommy is one of the most iconic GTA characters period, it would be a huge missed opportunity not to reference him in some way in GTA 6. I mean the last time we were in VC was bloody 20+ years ago, the nostalgia and emotions that will fill people just seeing the Vercetti estate would be crazy.

@@primedemarr In GTA 5, jimmy and franklin talked about how Grove street families ruled los santos in the 90s, even if they were in the HD universe. This can mean that in GTA 6, they could reference a legendary drug lord ruling all of vice city using his gang/family in the 80s. It is entirely possible to do so, just as long as we dont have any physical or name usage in the HD universe.

@@ZelenskyPlane Its like the spiderman multiverse the 3d characters are in the hd universe (Cj was in gta 4 billboard) and usually did everything they did in the 3d games but its different and btw that doesnt mean he will appear, they still physically cant appear in another universe , they can be mentioned but cant appear and idk why rockstar dod it like this but

@@Kev27RSprobably due to graphics is my guess, but they should remain consistent, in that GTA7 onwards should entail a different universe all together, maybe a 4k, 8k, hell maybe 12k universe. It also kind of feels awkward now to have GTA4 and GTA6 in the same universe, given the 20 year graphical leap between the 2 games

People keep saying it’s not possible for Tommy to come back because of Ray Liotta passing away, but take in mind Ray Liotta passed away in 2022, and since GTA 6 has been in the making for a long time now it’s not impossible for Tommy to be in GTA 6.
If he does end up being in GTA 6 I hope he will be an antagonist and possibly be related to one of the main characters, it be quite a twist and great story telling in my opinion.

GTA 6 Vice cIty isn't the same Vice City Tommy ran. Completely different world, Tommy won't be in it but they'll probs add his outfit to the game like you could get claude's outfit in GTA IV

An Easter egg tribute would be a good one for the game
I know for sure we will get a major easter egg to him. Especially since Liotta passed a year ago. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a huge nod to him in a mission or something of that nature.

Hey Zac, there's another possible few characters who could return from TBoGT. Luis, Armando, and Henrique. They're familiar with clubs and pushing drugs. In one of the club management missions for Maisonette 9, Al Di Napoli, a celebrity you help, has a LOT of dialogue with Luis where he talks about this and invites him to Vice City a few times. You should check it out.
I could see it as a very real possibility that Luis returns in GTA6

A tribute in the form of either an in game TV show kinda like Narcos about Tommy's exploits, his mansion being in the game, being able to equip his trademark Blue Hawaiian shirt or something really small. Gta V had a whole mission about going back to Grove street alongside references to both Sweet from SA and Nico Bellic from 4.
Vice city was my first gta. My friend had it and we took turns playing all the time then san Andreas came out and it was just that much better. To be there when they were coming out was great and those games definitely showed me what video games could be when I was a kid.
Also Toni and Victor Vance both appeared as secondary characters before becoming maim characters in the "Stories" GTAs.

What if the OG Vice City made a cameo in the form of a movie. Since the OG was basically a love letter to Scarface I think it’d be cool if in the HD universe ‘Vice City’ was a popular crime movie that Jason or Lucia watched as kids and maybe inspired them to be gangsters

I get the feeling we'll definitely see plenty of easter eggs referencing Tommy just as we've had for Niko and CJ in GTAV.
I get that GTA SA and VC take place in a different universe to current GTA but I think one way they could do it is to make him a movie star or similar, so GTA VC was like a whole movie series he's best known for in the HD GTA universe (which would be an interesting way to tie the 3D universe games in to the HD GTA universe, not to mention since Michael is hinted at becoming a movie director in GTAO I feel that could help with threading them all together while making references to the previous GTA trio.)

Since I got too busy writing my rant from my last comment (which I still stand by), Since this video is talking about hoping to see a Ray Liotta tribute. There was a reference that franklin made in the contract gta online dlc to the events of san andreas from that weed farm mission so rockstar seems more open to referencing at least event's from the 3D universe.
You could add a flashback sequence where an older Ken Rosenberg explains the old ruler of this town. A flashback remake of when him and lance took over Diaz’s mansion mission completely remade.

I believe that if gta does decide to bring tommy back it would be a very fun detail like tommy could be lucia drug supplier or something and niko could be brought back as well as roman niko could be Tommy's hitman or drug worker most likey his hitman

Zac, we already have a fan theory. Tommy Vercetti can come back using this idea: GTA Definitive Edition Trilogy is 2021 allows the GTA Trilogies to upgrade to the HD universe. This means that with a different voice actor (because Tommy is in his late 70s) we can see that man still running the city. Although unlikely, yet a possibility.
THAT IS ONLY IF ROCKSTAR DECIDED EARLIER TO BREAK THE UNIVERSE BARRIER BY HAVING GROVE STREET GAMERS WORK FOR THEM WHILE THEY TRY ADDING TOMMY IN GTA 6.

I know for a fact this won't happen because if it would've we would have seen a proper Rockstar version of Tommy in our definitive edition, and not the GSG gamers one.

thats odd though the jay Norris dialogue in the leak.. hes referring to jay Norris almost as if so hes still alive though??? is GTA VI technically a prequel to V? or even around the same timeline which would be ideal if they wanted to do any cross overs that would somehow connect to the overall story of GTA V?! there's a idea for a video for ya... free of charge. - ALSO.... I wonder why rockstar really limited their story creativity essentially creating a wall not allowing stuff from the 3D Universe to cross over... feels like a MAJOR missed opportunity specially considering now a days? we all know how much connected universes sell (MCU, etc) Going back to the timeline theory also, this is a very interesting topic or concept to think about because when RDR2 was being teased weren't people wondering if it was sequel or not?

here is my theory for the different universes in the GTA franchise, or more or less why they decided to to it. basically with how much the gaming industry has evolved between GTA III and IV, the map was able to be so much bigger than the 3D era of games but this would create inconsistencies, plot holes, and other complications to arise so they separated the universes to make it easier. If CJ was in GTA V then why would the city be setup so vastly different in universe?
And as for the Jay Norris dialogue, he maybe could be alive? I don't know. But he is based off of Mark Zuckerberg and like how people joked that he might be a robot/alien/lizard person, I think his GTA counter part actually be one and that's why he is alive and seemingly doing well nearly twelve years later after getting the side of his face blown of my Lester and Michael.
