I have a 1-2 year old GEM in zone 10b San Diego and it’s barely gotten any bigger since I got it. I know they’re compact but didn’t realize how slow they grow. Can’t wait to taste some fruit in the next few years
Feed like a normal tree despite their small size, they're big eaters. Try one cup of organic food every month from about now to late October. The GEM in my house grew a total of 8ft, and I didn't let it take off vertically. I kept pinching. It has about 4-5 limbs with 16-20 inches of new growth, each limb. ✌️🥑 Thank you for stopping by
