    I’ve been there. It was first show in my life. The loudest sound as land trembled, a lot of military and violence and huge joy at the same time. I know l’ll never have the same feelings

      That just shows how oppressed the Russian population is. Starved for music and who knows what else.. Paul McCartney has a documentary/concert filmed in Red Square. There’s a short version with just the show but the long version has some interesting parts about how Russian people had to smuggle In Beatles music and face jail time if you’re in possession of it. Being an American who lives and listens to music every day for hours and hours at times, it’s just unbelievable

    Pantera crush it that afternoon. And 1.6 million is internet folklore. According to Metallica, its unknown how many people attended the show but it was hardly over 600,000.

    IT WAS NOT FREE! They sold 50K entrances , those are up front with yellow wrist bands. 54 people died.
