The nervousness and ‘I’m just a little girl’ and saying ‘I can do it’ immediately followed by ‘I can’t do it actually’ is just me every single time I’m in public and around new people
I love watching Sara nervous to talk to strangers while knowing full well Des is nervous about spilling that she was reading their favorite book behind the scenes🥹
kingdom of ash is one of the most perfect finales to a series i’ve ever read, i love those characters and that world and story with my whole heart and soul 😭😭
TOG is such an incredible series - so glad you loved it! And I agree that SJM writes amazing, strong women. Aelin has got to be one of the best main characters of any book ❤️
"I feel empty" SAME, the empty light has just come on in me right now. I JUST finished Kingdom of Ash last night and I am so happy to have watched this to feel less alone, haha less alone but still empty over here.
Can we just take a second to appreciate that Sara has delivered a whole 42 minute vlog to us!! My day is made. P.s- I've just started the acotar series and watching you reading kingdom of ash has made me even more excited to read something with Sarah j maas' writing.
I LOVED House in the Cerulean Sea. I work with youth who have behavioral challenges and mental health issues and I saw so much of my classroom reflected in this book. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy when sometimes it's easy to dwell on negatives of the systems in place in our education system. Would recommend to anyone. LOVE.
AH I'm so so glad you finished TOG. I also just finished reading Kingdom of Ash last night and my soul feels empty. Like idk what to do with my life after this series. Also I'm loving the every day bookmas vlogs sara!!
Omg your tears while reading kingdom of ash were making me cry too! Never even read the series but I definitely get the pain of finishing a series where your so involved with the characters and plot
shoutout to the girl who said american queen is her fave book!!! i read that trilogy TWO YEARS AGO and still think about ash, embry and greer all. the. time. ugh one of my faves of ALL time but i feel like no one ever talks about it???
The audiobook for the house in the cerulean sea is my favorite audiobook. The narrator (Daniel Henning) did an amazing job with voices and rhythm. I highly recommend!
Girl- I was crying along with you just remembering how KoA went down. You are fine! I literally talked myself out of immediately re-reading the series for the rest of the year in 2023 cuz I was not even close to my Goodreads reading goal. I can’t wait to start my reread- working on collecting the paperbacks so I can annotate to my hearts delight/sorrow.
OMG Sara! I have waited so long for you to read The House in the Cerulean Sea because it's my FAVE! I never could find the edition with the sprayed edges so I am so jealous! :) This video was so cute and I'm so proud of you for going out of your comfort zone!
Hey Sara, so sad you’ve skipped on Anne of Green Gables! It’s such a beautifully written book and doesn’t actually read like a classic at all, although I’d recommend listening to the audiobook, literally feels like a fever dream ✨🤍
I love throne of glass! I’m glad you did a spoiler section, I always want to know more of people’s thoughts on the books I’ve read. My favorites are Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight and Queen of Shadows
Not me crying with Sara as she cries her way through KOA. I had the exact same reactions and feelings and that last book is so overwhelming. I've never resignated more with a reading vlog.
I just finished The House In The Cerulean Sea & omg it was soooo good. I giggled a lot and absolutely loved some of the characters. Ty so much for sharing this book!
Kingdom of Ash wrecked me 😭I still want an Of Frost And Starlight style of novella for TOG where everybodys just happy and we get the missing spicy scene from Elide and Lorcan.
I want to read the Throne of Glass series sooo much because of the hype, especially seeing how much you rave about it but after seeing your emotional reaction I know I would be an emotional wreck because I’m so easy to cry when reading 😩😅
i, myself am not a classics girlie but i feel like that could be such an interesting video where you read classics for a week. i trust your bookish opinion and i seriously need to pick up a classic! would love to hear your thoughts on them!!!!
I liked reading TAB third because when you learn her past before HOF you connect to her depression and anxiety when meeting Rowan and training. I didn’t love KOA, I wish more happened and felt it was slow. BUT I read TOG 2 years ago, almost 3, and reread up to QOS in June of this year, so maybe this winter break when I have time home from college I’ll reread the last 3! The series is SOO special to me, I can cry just thinking about it. It’s so special and rereading it is even better so you can skim boring parts but see all of the BRILLIANT foreshadowing.
I love the series of thron of Glasses, one of my favorite ❤ can you tell me where your glasses from I'm looking for some new frames, and I love yours 😍
xmas is my favorite time cause we get bookmas from THE sara carolli!!!! please read iron flame, i heard some bad opinions but i honestly loved it maybe i just need to read more fantasy. i will say tho it's so long, like it has more words than crcent city long
Seeing you read this series was sooo much fun! And it absolutely inspired me to read it as well I literally don't know anything about the books and imma keep it this way until I get to them one day EXCITED FOR IT NOW Loved this video♡
Me crying watching you cry about Kingdom of Ash 😭 when you re-read, I’d recommend not doing the tandem! I felt like I appreciated each book more by not reading them at the same time and it was way less daunting. My fav in the series is Empire of Storms and I don’t think that’d be the case if I tandem read! Happy Bookmas!!!
I started and finished The House in the Cerulean Sea yesterday and I loved it! I rated it 4/5 for how cute the story was with the kids and how much positivity there was in helping them become confident
Currently binge watching you💕. Also im about to start crown of midnight so i got some spoilers but i don’t mind lol it makes me look forward to the books and finishing them.
I love how no matter how many times we read a book, we come back with different thoughts about it every time or forget some of the events that happen. Whenever I do a reread people are always asking "how do you always get shocked even though this is your 5th time rereading?" Like... HELLO lol
Me coming back to this video to FINALLY watch the spoilers of KOA/entire TOG series since I just bawled reading for four hours and finishing the book last night 😂
Miss ma’am once I finish Fourth Wing & Iron Flame…I’ll be reading Throne Of Glass series because you make it sound amazing lol putting Game Of Thrones series on pause
PLEASEEEEEEE read a man called ove girl omg, i met the author when i was 12 and he was so nice. the swedish movie is 1000% cuter and better than the new one with tom hanks, truly recommend it!!!
I salute you guys for being able to read in front of each other. I know I wouldn't be able to focus on reading around my friends! Lol, I can only read in front of my husband. Anyways, I DNF'd The House on the Cerulean Sea. Maybe I should pick it back up soon!
I hate that lonely, empty feeling when finishing a series. Also, it means that you connected so well to the books that they are fantastic. Honestly, my husband and I felt that way when we finished the show Game of Thrones. He finally understood what I meant by saying that when I finish reading a series. I bought A Game of Thrones books because I heard they are EPIC!
The nervousness and ‘I’m just a little girl’ and saying ‘I can do it’ immediately followed by ‘I can’t do it actually’ is just me every single time I’m in public and around new people
so true! Sara is literally us😭🤎
Absolutely fire video
Also when you’re asking the girl at the coffee shop and I am so clearly eavesdropping 💀

House in the Cerulean Sea was my first 5 star read of the year. I was crying in the last chapter. So wholesome
i love how you talked to us after each bookstore part already knowing how you felt and which book you chose, it was really creative
TOG is a series I think about daily. Those characters are so important to me. I cry thinking about parts of it all the time.
Little Women is one of my favorite books too!!!
last kiss playing in the second book store is EVERYTHING to me, i love your videos sara you’re so comforting and oh so gorgeous 🤎
I'm living for the bookmas content!! Literally makes my day
shoutout to the girl who said american queen is her fave book!!! i read that trilogy TWO YEARS AGO and still think about ash, embry and greer all. the. time. ugh one of my faves of ALL time but i feel like no one ever talks about it???

Anne of Green Gables is such a quick and wholesome read. I think you will adore it!
Hey Sara, so sad you’ve skipped on Anne of Green Gables! It’s such a beautifully written book and doesn’t actually read like a classic at all, although I’d recommend listening to the audiobook, literally feels like a fever dream ✨🤍
Yesss the audiobook version is my favorite
Can you recommend a narrator? I just looked it up and on Bookbeat alone I can choose between 9 different versions... how should I choose one haha
@@xxXBlackShadowXxx997 Sureee, I love Karen Savage the most, she’s done a killer job depicting all the characters! 💕

I just finished kingdom of ash and I feel so empty I want to reread it all immediately 😭 My all time favorite series now!
Most creative booktuber of the year goes to:
I liked reading TAB third because when you learn her past before HOF you connect to her depression and anxiety when meeting Rowan and training. I didn’t love KOA, I wish more happened and felt it was slow. BUT I read TOG 2 years ago, almost 3, and reread up to QOS in June of this year, so maybe this winter break when I have time home from college I’ll reread the last 3! I’ve read three TJ Klune books and I’ve loved all of them!
Omfg Harry’s house poster in the back!?!? ahhh I love the books you read and the Harry poster just makes it betterrrrr

I love how u say “character(s)”
omg why have i never thought of sticking the tabs on the book like u did - instead of having it on the clear plastic it comes with
Currently binge watching you💕. Also im about to start crown of midnight so i got some spoilers but i don’t mind lol it makes me look forward to the books and finishing them.
The Good Part is on my tbr! I found it in the romance section so I’m not sure it’s exactly literary fiction.
The length of this video is perfect!❤
Not me immediately seeing the sour cream and onion Pringle’s on ur vanity lol
Not me crying watching you read it 😩😩😩
3:59 i think the cat book they were referring to was "if cats disappeared from the world" by genki kawamura!!
the way I got second hand anxiety for you while watching this is crazy 😭 you’re so brave tho! 🫶🏽
I enjoyed Anne Of Green Gables but not enough to continue the series. I did enjoy Anne With An E the show. Less is on my tbr!
I love how no matter how many times we read a book, we come back with different thoughts about it every time or forget some of the events that happen. Whenever I do a reread people are always asking "how do you always get shocked even though this is your 5th time rereading?" Like... HELLO lol
Please share where your brown cardigan is from 😍🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎 obsessed!
