I think the whole concept of "God" in OPM came from a fan made manga. It was such fantastic quality the youtubers were trying to figure out if it was official or not. It's awesome to see Murata incorporating it though.

King is such a nice guy, he tried to protect Homeless Emperor with his warning, but threw it back in his face and paid the price for it!
King is probably hella strong. Having your heart beat so hard that it makes a sound that resembles that of engine would probably give anyone a heart attack or an unimaginable amount of pain, yet he takes it like nothing. His blood is probably running crazy inside his body as well IOT for this to become possible, which makes me think that this guy is no average human, he is probably one of the strongest heroes, but insecure of himself.
He is indeed strong, he just doesn't know it yet, and Im not talking about his luck

God's entrance has to be the best entrance I have seen in a good min. It was just so omnious and chilling. I can only imagine the pure terror that homeless had when it was looking down on him from the moon.

The thing I don't like about Homeless Emporor being "on par with an average human physically", is that, unless I am mistaken, he exhibited superhuman speed and reflexes, which would require superhuman musculature. He would also need denser bones, stronger ligaments, ect, to withstand the rigors of such movement.

I have a theory
I think there r two God's. One that was made from Earth and another from a different dimension. Firstly, back during the prophesy sitch said that the "Earth" is in danger, not humanity. I bring this up because from wat we know about this suppose Earth God I'm theorizing about is that it want humans to die not Earth, so why would the prophesy specifically say that the "Earth" is in danger and not humanity, especially if it's goal is for humans to die. Secondly, the way the two interact is different, one uses boxes and the other is if it sees that u value Earth, it will come to you (i.e homeless emperor). Vaccine said that it was "Earth" that gave birth to him, because the pollution and how they r basically killing the planet. Lastly, in the orochi and Saitama redraw it says, "Crossing the vast expanse of time, our god shall resurrect on this earth." This quote tells me that the god Saitama and gang encountered was different from the one that is on Earth, and is instead a god from a different dimension. It would make sense to cause it would explain why the dimension god says it will grant u a deep wish that u desire if u touch the box, while the Earth God goes to people who value the Earth a lot. Also the design of the two r really different. One looks like it's made from Earth, and the other looks more ethereal from space.

I really dig this theory. I feel if this is true the earth god we see in this chapter is the next boss after Garou, and the Blast, Cube, Space God is the either the final boss or near to the final boss. As a person pointed there could be a species of higher dimensional gods who serve a supreme god that rules over their race who will likely be the final fight if that pans out.

I title doesn’t really mean anything. Also that’s kinda the point of opm. Saitama can’t find a rival and probably never will because that’s the conflict he’s faced with. In short he has to overcome the fact that nothing can overcome him. So imo him oneshotting god will only exemplify the shows point and won’t empty it at all.

The only time this has ever happned is Boros and Garou. Both he held back on and they legitimately can tank normal punches. Rover wouldn't count since saitama saw him as a dog and Orochi as a joke and just taught both a lesson.

ONE went all out doing the two page spread for the God reveal just to see what he could do if he really put a ton of effort into it and it's without contest the best thing he's ever drawn personally).

I just realized that King is actually powerful, he's probably just incredible blessed or lucky.
Gotta give credit to one punch man. Any other series about a guy that effectively can't be beaten would just be laughed at. hell, old super man whose powers were literally "What he needed to win" gets laughed at now. But One Punch Man figured out a good formula... focus on all the other things going on, and treat the main character as a joke/deus ex machina.
I agree its very nice that it focuses on other characters instead of saitama.
