As a Liverpool fan, i can say that Trent needs to start, he is one of, if not, the best player we have so far in LFC so start him off in the national games
Trent is that extra player to move us closer to having a trophie if and when southgate starts him off, he didn't start in the Iceland game and England were poor, no offence to the other players
@@wengelder9256 fun fact: Trent created the most chances of any player against Denmark and he was the first one to be subbed off. It’s not a him problem, you can’t play Trent and play a front three where none of them make runs. Southgate needs to not put Foden on the left where he is out of position and isn’t finding space to receive the ball. Bringing Trent off and bringing Watkins and Bowen on (two players who can make runs) is stupid. My logic is that starting Trent makes no difference if you’re not having players who can make runs. So basically you can’t start Trent, Foden and saka in the same team. Doing so repeats the mistakes made in euro 2004, squeezing in too many stars in sacrifice of tactics
@@nicodiangelo7051 there hardly were chances … and he lost the ball very often . It were two individual actions of Foden that created chances . A 30 m ball that reaches a player “ somewhere” is not a chance . He is going to be a joke at Madrid . Although I don’t think Madrid can’t be that stupid to buy him .
@@sitaylor as if I didn’t know that . He has never been a defender either . He is slow , clueless of his surroundings , lacks pace and is simply put … lazy .
@@wengelder9256 idk I just checked statistics and found what the officials define as a chance created instead of letting individual fans decide what their definition of a created chance is 🤷♂
After the Serbia game, the experiment with Trent didn't work. It needed a ball winning midfielder so Gallagher should have been there from the start. Foden has NEVER done it for England. We needed penetration on the left so Gordon should have been there instead.
He needs to be starting for England no matter what, our game against Iceland was awful until he came on
This comment aged well.
What a Play Maker... Proud to be a Liverpool FC Supporter❤❤
Liverpool fc fan here too.
lol. This aged well . Did nothing .

Clear proof how standards drop .
he does play midfield on the rare occasion at liverpool, very rare but he can show he's a better midfield than a right-back
The one and only.limited edition ❤
HE WILL BECOME A LIVERPOOL AND ENGLAND LEGEND
If he doesn't leave in the summer. If he goes to Real now, he won't be a Liverpool legend
@@haanis5458 Ik he will stay
@@toluwanimiumoh9098 Let's hope🤞
@@haanis5458lol.madrid not interested in a player of his poor level .
He is already a legend. Won everything with Liverpool
Thing is no one in middle of the park for england has that ability - hed start every game for me and hes won the major club comps

Southgate better not make it worse by benching him
lol. He started twice . Dreadful performances . Slow , no agility , arrogant player who has no clue what to do.

😍😍😍😍😍
With 4231, Arne Slot may put Trent with Wataru in Mid. Let Bradley on RB.
I like that
This aged well.
Scouse Pirlo
From Cafu to Pirlo 😂
Love TAA but he still has to convince me he is press resistant in the middle of the park. There was no press on him in this game.
Ok
England’s defender who can’t defence… Lol
What a garbage…
What a moronic opinion this is
