He controls the tempo, he gets creative with his through passes, he can carry the ball unlike Thiago but most especially Trent has the stamina so he can actually PRESS! Stones is world class in CDM for Man City. Very solid, assured & effective but he would just be another slightly above average player if he played CDM for any other team. Trent on the other hand is beyond world class tbh, he adds that spark, prowess & aura in that midfield. What's even crazier is that he could do this for any team regardless of the system they play. He's awareness & aggression in defence needs improvement though.
