This brings back memories! This was one of my favorite scenes on "The Abbott and Costello Show" when I watched it as a kid on, yes, WOR Channel 9 in New York! This is a masterpiece of double-entendre, mistaken identity, and out-of-context. Thanks for bringing this back!
Years later, Lily Tomlin took a page from this on her special. She listened to the radio for instructions for cooking a turkey, but it was an auto mechanic show. She did exactly as told, jacked up the turkey, filled it with air, and it floated away.
One of the funniest A&C routines ever.
Touching his no no spot 😂😂 that was hilarious
Wow, Bud Abbot was not shy to undergo all this during a live show.
Amazing how Bud Abbott remained unaffected by all of it. And I see that Sid Fields wrote this with Lou Costello.
