I know it sounds ignorant and shallow, but it's so funny as an American to hear the British accent of Nicko McBrain describing his take on what's going on at this concert. Brits, man, you guys are the only ones who can rock out and still sound like gentlemen offstage! But, seriously, folks, Maiden Rules!

Seriously. I'm really excited about the upcoming album. Because i really don't know what to expect.
I expect maiden of course. But i don't expect it to have a AMOLAD type of style, because that album, as great as it was, was as good as it gets, and i think they need to progress even more.

whats wrong wit bullet for my valentine? Iron Maiden is sick and legendary in my opinion but bullet for my valentine is cool as well the drummer looks up to Nicko and inspired by him if you listen to how he plays you would notice Nicko kicks asss! IRON MAIDENS UP!

Yup.. He lives down around Coral Springs. You ought to check out his rib restaurant. Rock n' Roll ribs. He's there all the time when IM isn't on tour, and he plays there regularly w/ his band McBrain Damage. This past Sat. they had a huge welcome back party from the tour for him, as well as a listening party for the new IM album. His son Justin also played. He's a monster drummer in his own right.

tell me about it, one thing that saddens me is how ignorant and stupid rock fans can be. Yes iron maiden are great, but they are not the only band in the world and if all iron maiden videos just used maiden songs etc they would be so samey and boring. If half the fans on here had it their way we would be listening to the same classic albums on repeat. Its like Friends, amazing show but was played to death on ch4. Make way and embrace new content while appreciating the old classics :)

@Xiolablu3 Yes, indeed. One of those non-Anglo bands that comes to mind is Rammstein! Gotta love that ragged band of Teutonic musical geniuses. Pagan's Mind of Norway also rocks and I apologize for not listing any others whose names elude me at the moment. By the way, have you Brits got yourselves a bloody Prime Minister yet? Lol!

@2112murphy it certainly does look like a nose ruined by cocaine. but nicko's nose has always looked like that, at least since he joined the irons in 85 for piece of mind.... maybe he used to box, or used to get into scraps down at the pub.
this man is awesome =] id love to meet him and just pick his brain on drumming : ).
I seen him at the side of the stage when Alice in Chains were on, bowed down him n he gave me the thumbs up was well chuffed =]
@GHfanNr1 Actually, Bonham wasn't brilliant - I can play most of his stuff! And Keith Moon was fast but MASSIVELY sloppy. But you still have to respect them, and totally agree on Peart and Portnoy.
Seriously, all those bands fucking suck. If Maiden played there it would be worth going, but there is no way i would go with a line up like that. Maidenfest 2010!!!!!!!
